In Dixit's Mansion

Everyone were gathered in the hall when Viren started a conversation..

Viren ( turned to Ravi ): Ravi, do you know Mr. Deshmukh..?

Ravi ( frowned ): Yeah, I do..why..? What happened..?

Viren ( smiled ): He has got a proposal for Dev..

M5's heads were snapped at Viren after hearing it..

Ravi ( surprised ): What..?

Viren ( nodded ): Haa..the girl is his niece..I know her..She is a very good girl..

Ravi ( sighed in disbelief ): Are you even real..? How can you forget that your kids are mine too..?

Viren ( frowned ): What are you saying, Ravi..?

Ravi ( glared ): Aur nahi tho kya..? M5, Abhi, Ritesh, Vishal and Fab 5 are our kids..( Fab 5 looked at Ravi in surprise ) And here Vishal is the eldest to all of them, then how can you think of getting Dev married..

Vishal ( sighed ): Ravi Papa..You know I haven't met a proper girl yet..Aur waise bhi bachi se pehle mein shadi nahi karne wala..

Manik looked at Nandini who was sighing at her Bhayyu..

Nandini: Bhayyu..You know I don't want to get married now..So, please don't give me as an excuse..

Abhi ( nodded ): Okay fine..you get married when you wish and so we..Bhai and I am gonna get married only after doll's marriage..Par iska mathlab ye nahi ki baaki sab hamare liye intezaar karthe rahenge..Dev is the eldest after us and he is single so he should get married first aur uske baad Soha aur Arya ki shadi..kyu Dad..?

Viren ( smiled ): Bilkul sahi kaha Abhi ne..hamari doll ko shadi nahi karni aur isee wajah se uske Bhayon ko bhi shadi nahi karna hai..

Nandini ( annoyed ): Dad, ye kaise baath hui..mere shadi na karne se Bhai aur Bhayyu apni zindagi kyu barbaad kar rahe hai..

Vishal ( smiled ): Bachi, isme koi bhi apni zindagi nahi barbad kar rahe hai..jab thak tum apne better half ko doond nahi sakthe tab thak hum bhi shadi nahi karenge aur waise bhi hum mein se kon taken hai jo tu ithna worry kar rahi hai..

Nandini ( disbelievingly ): Like seriously Bhayyu, you are 30 years old..Don't you know Dad already had me with him when he was 30 years old..Can you imagine..He became a dad of 3 kids at that time..

Raj ( chuckled ):Ab kya kare, tumhara Baap jaisa ithna fast nahi hai tumhara Bhayyu..

Others chuckled at it while Viren glared at him..

Viren: Haa tho, mein apni beewi se kuch zyada hi pyar kartha hoon..

" Yeah yeah.."

Viren: Ab ye sab chod..ravi..you should go for it..

Abhi ( excited ): Haa Papa, I have seen that girl..She is beautiful and well mannered..Plus, she is from a very good family so she is sanskaari too..

Vishal ( smiled ): Dev aur Abhi ek jaise hai aur yaha Abhi keh rahe hai wo ladki achi hai tho obviously Dev ke liye sahi hogi..

Ravi after thinking for sometime nodded at him while others smiled at it except M5 who were in a shock..

Viren: So, lets meet the girl tomorrow..What say, guys..?

Elders: Oh yes..

But soon, they saw Dev getting up from his seat and dashed upstairs for which M4 just glared at elders..

Ranvir: What happened to him..?

Nandini ( sarcastically ): Shadi jiske hona hai usse tho poochna chahiye..

Swayam: Kya mathlab..?

Soha ( sighed ): Oh God, Mamu..why didn't you ask Bhai's opinion..?

Ravi ( frowned ): Arey, let him see the girl..we are not pressurizing him..

Arya ( pissed ): Ladki buddy keliye hai tho buddy se poochna chahiye tha ki wo yeh chahtha hai ya nahi..

Sid ( angry ): Exactly, ab wo apni wali se kya kahega..

Suddenly the girls remembered something and shouted..

NanHa: Oh shit, he is angry..

They just ran upstairs followed by Youngsters, including fab 5 and Navya..While the elders looked at each other in shock..

" Apni wali..? " they asked in unison..they too got up and went upstairs..

Nandini and Soha reached his bedroom and saw the whole room messed up..Nothing was in single piece..sheets were torn and show pieces were broken..The girls looked at each other and sighed..they walked inside to see Dev sitting on the bed with raging breathe..

While fab 5 stood shocked after seeing the condition of the room but the elders were confused..

Cabir ( whispered ): Manik, kahi ye tere Bhai tho nahi..

Manik ( confused ): What..?

Cabir: Nahi, iske room dekhke mujhe tumhara room yaad aa raha hai..totally messed up..

Manik glared at him..

Nandini and Soha sat on the either side of Dev..

Soha: bhai, please clam down..

Dev ( closed his eyes ): I don't want to hurt you both, so leave..

Nandini ( adamant ): You know, M5 are always together..

Arya and Sid smiled who were sitting on the couches..

Dev ( shouted ): Nandu..I don't want to share..

Manik balled his fist in anger..

Manik: What the hell..She is trying to help him..

Dhruv: Buddy, they are friends..we shouldn't interrupt..

Manik nodded at him..

Nandini ( pleaded ): BHAI..

Dev sighed..That's something she calls him only when she badly wants him to share his pain with her..

Dev ( whispered ): I can't think of any other girl..Dad should have asked me..I never disobeyed him..

Soha: Bhai, wo bas apkeliye ladki dekha hai..final decision aapka hai..

Nandini: Exactly, jo tum kahoge wahi hoga..

Dev ( frustrated ): Par mujhse pochne se pehle..I never did anything against him..he didn't even tell anything before agreeing to meet that girl..

Nandini ( held his hand ): Papa aapko ache tarah se janthe hai..unhe patha hai aapke liye kya sahi hai aur kya nahi..aur unhe ye bhi patah hai agar wo ladki aapkeliye sahi hai sirf tab aap uss ladki keliye Haa kahega..aur jaise aap haa kahega waise unhe patha chalega ki uske bete ne sahi choose kiya, har baar ki tarah..

Ravi and Poorvi smiled after hearing her..

Dev ( sighed ): Par..

Soha ( pleaded ): Bhai..aap asli problem share kyu nahi kar rahe ho..

Dev ( nodded ): Sona ke alawa mein kisi aur ladki ke bare mein soch bhi nahi saktha..par..

NanHa: Par..

Dev ( pouted ): Abi thak propose nahi kiya na..

" What "

M5 turned to the door in horror when they saw the whole family in shock except Fab 5 who were scared after hearing the shout..The elders barged inside while M5 got up and Dev gulped hard..

Ravi: What did you say..?

Dev: Uh Dad..wo..

Ravi ( sternly ): Dev..

Dev ( looked down ): I love a girl..

Lalith ( annoyed): Wo hame patha chala..

Dev ( shocked ): Kaise..

Raj: Inn charo se par jo tumne abhi abhi kaha in dono se , wahi ek aur baar bolo..

Dev ( nervous ): kya..kaha..

Rohit ( glared ): Proposal ke bare mein..

Dev ( looked down ): Mein abhi thak usse propose nahi kiya..

Shanno ( excited ): Hayee mathlab naya pyar hai..

Soha and Nandini grinned and looked at each other and at Shanno..

Soha: Nahi Mumma..naya pyar nahi...bas thoda purani hai..

Akshara: Thoda mathlab..Kithne din ki hai Soha..

Nandini ( smirked ): Agar detail mein chahiye tho Dev usse 11th Standard se pyar karthe hai..

The elders looked at M5 in shock while they were smirking at them except Dev who were glaring at his friends..Fab 5 too were surprised hearing that its been years he is in love but never confessed..

Ravi ( shocked ): What..!! Are you seriously my son..??

M5 stared at him with widened mouths..Poorvi glared at him for asking such a weird question..

Akash ( nodded ): Arey ye sawal tho zaroor poochna chahiye..kyunki tera baap Ravi Kapoor ne apni laila se 5th Std se pyar karthe the and he got to know that he loves poorvi in their second meeting and he proposed her in the 3rd meeting which happened next day..

The youngsters looked at Ravi and Poorvi in shock while they had different emotions on their faces..Ravi was just glaring at Akash and Poorvi was blushing..

Ravi ( glared ): Chup kar gadhe..ismein koi galathi nahi hai..mein Poorvi se pyar kartha tha aur mujhe ye baath dho din mein patha chala aur der nahi kiya..I didn't want to lose her to someone..Ab mere beta tho bohath hi slow niklega, ye mujhe nahi patha tha..

Dev ( whined ): I didn't want to lose her friendship, Dad..

Shanno ( bad face ): Aisi konsi ladki hai iss duniya mein jo mere bete ko inkar kar sakthi..tum tho mera handsome puthar hai na..

Sid ( grinned ): Kya Shanno Mumma..aapko lagtha hai aisi koi ladki hogi..Sona bhi Bhai se pyar karthi hai..bas inn dono confess karne mein darthe hai..

Dev ( glared ): Oh hello, she never gave any hint..

Shanno ( face palmed ): Puthar..tum 26 ke hi ho na..abi thak ek ladki ke dil nahi pehchan sakthe tum..Ladkiyan hamesha aise baathe dil mein chupathe hai aur ladke dikhathe hai..so its your duty to make her confess..

Nandini ( smirked ): Arey wahi maami..aap tho romance mein degree liya hai..

Shanno twisted Nandini's ears..

Shanno: Acha, mujhse shaitaani..

Nandini ( freed her ears ): Ouch Mami, mere bechare kaanth ka kya kusoor hai..

Shanno sighed in disbelief while others giggled at the duo..Manik smiled seeing her pouting like a baby..

Venkatesh: Acha wo sab chod..tum apne baap pe tho nahi gaya..kam se kam apne Bhai ko dekho..na jaane kithne casual flings kar chuke hai..

Sid ( bad face ): Sirf 5 ex hai mere..isse aage math jaiye Venki Papa..Bhai..why do you get me in trouble..

Nandini patted his back and said " hotha hai kabhi kabhi "

Dev ( glared ): Tu tho bad boys list mein hai aur agar mein uss list mein hotha tho Sona meri friend thank banegi..

Poorvi ( smiled ): Chalo koi nahi..Dev..kya mere beta usse sach mein pyar karthe ho..

Dev smiled at her which was more than enough to understad for the 3 mothers..

Akshara ( coolly ): Tho propose kar..warna usse koi aur le jayega..

Dev ( whined ): Akshu Ma..

Shanno: Bilkul sahi kaha Akshu ne..

Poorvi: photo hai kya tumhare paas..?

Soha ( smirked ): Bhai ka poora gallry hi uske photos hai..

Dev glared at her while the girls hi-fied..

Shanno ( excited ): Dikhao dikhao..

Dev ( looked here and there ): Arey..mere paas..nahi na..

Nandini just took his mobile from his pocket and opened his gallery..

Dev: Nandu..kya kar rahe ho..

Soha ( bad face ): Apka kuch nahi ho saktha tho kaam hum khud karne wale hai..

Akshara: hayee..bohath hi pyari bachi hai..

Shanno: Wahi tho..hamara Dev keliye sahi hai ye bachi..

Poorvi: Mujhe patha tha ki mere bete ke choice kabhi buri nahi ho saktha..

Dev smiled shyly while M4 were grinning..

Ravi: Iss bachi ka naam kya hai..

NanHa: Sona..Sonakshi Bose..

They passed the mobile to others and everyone praised Sonakshi..

Swayam: Kya karthi hai ye bachi..

Sid: She is a dance teacher..wo bhi..

Dev ( confidently ): Hamara Dance academy mein..

The elders smirked at him..

" oh really.."

Dev ( pouted ): Ma..

The ladies glared at them men and they went finger on lips position..

Lalith: Chalo, hame bhi apni bahu se milwao..

Dev: Papa..pehle mujhe propose karne tho do..

Ranvir: Tu issee umar mein usse propose karega ya nahi..

Dev smiled sheepishly..

Nandini ( teased ): Dev, make it fast..suna hai uskeliye marriage proposal aana shuru kiya..

Dev ( shouted ): What..!!!

They chuckled at him..

Arya: Buddy, jaldhi karo warna teri wali kisi aur ki wali banegi...

Dev glared at him..

Soha: Aur haan..agar proposal mein koi help chahiye, tho hum hai na..Sona ke best friends hai..Kyu soulie..

Nandini ( grinned ): Oh yes, humse zyada sona ko koi aur nahi jaan sakthe..

Viren: Tum dono kabse best friends ban gaye uske..?

M4: 10th Std se..

Ritesh ( sighed ): Di..Soha Di..tho aapne Dev Bhai ke help kyu nahi kiya..?

Soha: Kyunki tumhara Dev Bhai ne mana kiya tha..

Rishab ( teased ): Ab tho BHABHI se milna hi chahiye..The girl who just made Dev kapoor scared..Oh my God..she might be something..huh..!!

Dev ( scowled ): Chup kar Ri..

Rishab just chuckled and so others..

Akash: Chalo, tum kal hi usse propose kar aur uske baad hume milwana hai..warna teri shadi kisi aur ladki ke saath hoga aur uss bachi ke shadi koi aur se..apni laila ko apna banao pehle..

Sid ( excited ): I will do the decoration..

Arya ( grinned ): Menu for food will be prepared by me..

Soha ( excited ): Ring will be selected by me..

Nandini ( excited ): And dress will be from me..

The elders smiled and left while M5 sat to motivate Dev to propose Sonakshi..

At night

Nandini's Bedroom

Nandini entered the bedroom to see a packet on her bed..She frowned but then moved forward and took the packet..It was a packet of dress..She opened it to see..

Nandini ( impressed ): Wow, its beautiful..

Voice: Really..?

Startled, she turned around to meet those chocolate brown eyes..

Nandini ( frowned ): Manik, tum yaha..?

Manik moved forwards and rubbed his nape..

Manik: You liked it..?

He pointed at the suit and she nodded with a frown..

Nandini: You want me to wear it or what..?

Manik ( glared): I didn't know that you wear Men's suit too..

Nandini ( glared ): Then, what should I think..? You kept it in my bedroom and if its something official then you aren't a designer too..

Manik ( nervously ): It isn't for you..And you know it..it isn't something related to my profession too..Between, how did you get to know that I kept it..

Nandini ( curious ): Its obvious after seeing you in my bedroom..but, why did you keep it..?

Manik ( smiled slyly ): Uh..its for..DEV..

Nandini ( eyes popped out ): What..?

Manik ( rolled his eyes ): Don't go into shock zone..Its his date tomorrow, right..You might be in need of a suit for him..This suit was designed by Mr. Ryan of your company. He became a good pal of mine so he just gifted it as a token of friendship but I think Dev would be in need of it..I am not gonna have a date soon..As my girls still needs to trust me enough to go for a date with me..

Ignoring his last sentence, she just stared at him in surprise..Manik Malhotra just thought of sharing something with someone whom he doesn't have any relationship with..That was something shocking for her..

Nandini ( in a daze ): Are you for real..?

He got annoyed so he just grabbed her waist and she came back into the world once his hand came in contact with her bare waist..

Manik ( huskily ): You feel it..If you could feel me then I am real..

He spoke when he felt her shivering in his touch..he smiled after knowing that he still affects her..he caressed them to feel its' softness which did it's sparks for them..

Nandini ( glared ): Shut up..care to explain why this Monster Malhotra turned into a soft romeo..

Manik ( smiled ): Isn't it obvious..? He is important to you and so he would be important for me..I want to clear all the hurdles in between us and for that I need to accept your family which are your friends for you..So, thought of getting to know your friends..

Nandini ( thoughtfully ): So, you are trying to impress my friends to get to me..?

Manik ( smiled): I don't need to baby..I know I am always present in this heart..

She rolled her eyes in anger..

Nandini: You are still self obsessed..

Manik ( pulled her more ): Nope..I am obsessed, not for me but for you..

She stared at him in surprise..

Manik: It wasn't a part of self obsession..I know I live in your heart because these eyes of yours speak only my name..I just need to cover a long way to reach this mind as I believe a person could fall in love only when his mind and heart craves for the person and in my case it happened..now, its your turn..

Nandini ( smiled a bit ): I could see some changes in you..do you have any idea about it..?

Manik ( smiled ): I do..Nandini Murthy removed my darkness and Nandini Dixit is bringing light in my life..

She smiled and shook her head..

Nandini ( softly ): You need to leave, Manik..

Manik nodded and kissed her forehead for which she didn't protest..She knew he needs it and she is trying to get back to his life and for that she knew she will have to forget those bad memories which was caused by him..all she knew is, no matter what, she is going to fall for him, and this time harder, while he knew he has already fallen for her, and this time no turning back and he won't let anyone come in between them..no friends..no family would become an intruder in between him and his Nandini..
