Manik and Nandini were shocked and sacred.

Manik:- Abhi!!!

Abhi:- You messaged me you are leaving. But looks like there is some other story.

Nandini:- Bhai! (brother!)

Abhi showed his hand to Nandini to stop her. Nandini lower her head.

Abhi:- You are are not leaving right?

Manik don't know what to say.

Abhi:- I take that as yes. I guess you both are together now.

Manik and Nandini looked at each other.

Nandini:- Bhai (brother) we are...

Abhi:- I know Nandini about you guys. The only regret is that I get to know from someone else.

Nandini:- Bhai mai apko batane wali thi. (Brother I was about to tell you.)

Abhi:- Kab? Jab sabko pata chal jata tab? Jab khud ki Behan apse chupaye tho dusrese kya ummid kar sakte hai. ( When? When would everyone know? When your own sister hide from you, what can you expect from others?)

Abhi said last line eyeing Manik.

Manik:- Abhi....

Abhi:- Tum dono ko safai dene ki jarurat nahi hai. Tum logo ke liye mujse jitna hoga mai tum dono ko support karuggi. Par dhayan rakh na baki sabko tum logo ke bareme pata na Chale. ( you don't have to explain anything. For you guys I will do as much I can support. But be careful none should know about you two.)

Abhi didn't gave them any chance to speck anything. He left from there. Nandini had tears in her eyes. Manik was helpless.

Nandini:- Bhai mujse kitna naraj hai. ( Brother is so much angry with me.)

Manik hold Nandini's shoulder and wiped her tears.

Manik:- Tum chinta mat karo hum dono milke Abhi ko manayegge. Tum tho uski choti Behan hona tho woh Jada der tak tumse naraj nahi reh payega. ( You don't worry. Together we both will manofy him. You are his younger sister. He will not angry for much longer.)

Nandini smiled little. Manik hugged her. After dinner Nandini was in her room. She was reading some patient file. Manik quietly entered into the room and closed the door. Manik was going to scare her but stopped.

Nandini (still reading file):- Soch na bhi mat. ( Don't even think about it.)

Manik pout and lied down on bed.

Manik:- Tumhe kese pata mai hu.( How do you know its me?)

Nandini turned towards Manik.

Nandini:- Because Mr I know you. You did this type of prank before also.

Manik looked confused.

Manik:- When?

Nandini leave her file. She stoop up and sat beside Manik on bed.

Nandini:- Tumhe yaad nahi college days mai jab hum friends the tab tum yese hi pichese akke mujhe darate the.(You don't remember college days, when we were friends, then you used to scare me like this.)

Nandini smiled. Manik suddenly pulled Nandini on him. Nandini was now lying on Manik. She was shocked with Manik's sudden move.

Manik:- Yesa kya? ( Like this?)

Manik had smirk on his lips. Some of hairs was falling on Nandini's face. Manik started playing with them.

Manik:- I'm sorry Nandini for whatever I did in past.

Nandini smiled a little.

Nandini:- I can't say it's okay Manik. Because down in heart somewhere it still hurts.

Manik caused him for spoiling her mood.

Manik:- I will replace those memories with beautiful ones.

Nandini kept her chin on his chest.

Nandini:- I know you will.

Manik thought something.

Manik:- Will you come with me tomorrow just you and me?

Nandini:- Manik I have to go hospital tomorrow. I can't take leave.

Manik:- I'm not telling you to take a leave. After your shift over we will go.

Nandini:- OK but you won't come to my hospital. What if someone see you and tell dad. I can't take risk.

Manik:- Nandini kabhi na kabhi tho unhe pata lag jayega. (Nandini, they will know at some time or the other.)

Nandini:- Mai yeh nahi bol rahi hu ki unhe hum nahi batayegge. Unhe hum batayegge par sehi time ane ke baad. Tab tak ke liye let's keep it secret. Mai nahi chati unhe kisi or se pata Chale. ( I am not saying that we will not tell them. We will tell them on right time. Till then let's keep it secret. I don't want they get to know from others.)

Manik pinched her cheeks.

Manik:- OK as my Queen say. Then tum woh xyz wali cafe ajana. Mujhe Cabir or Dhruv se bhi milna hai. Tumhe bhi mila dunga. ( OK as my queen say. Then you came to xyz cafe. I have to meet Cabir and Dhruv. You will also meet them.)

Nandini smiled. They were looking at each other. Manik kept her hair behind her ears. But their moment was broke by loud knock on door.

Nandini:- Who is there?

Arya:- Nandini open the door.

Their both eyes went wide. Both stood up. Their face went pale it's looking like they saw a ghost.

Nandini (whisper):- Manik, bhaiya bahar hai. Ab kya hoga? ( Manik, brother is outside. What will happened now?)

Manik (hell scared):- Tumhara tho pata nahi lekin mera marna pakka hai. ( Don't know about you. But I am surely dead.)

Nandini:- Manik tumhe chupna hoga. ( Manik you have to hide.)

Manik:- Good idea.

They both running inside the room. But didn't able to fine any place to hide. Nandini know if Arya had any doubt he would search her room. Manik was going to under bed but Nandini pulled him.

Nandini:- Manik yeha nahi. Bhaiya tumhe dhun lenge. ( Manik not here. Brother will find you.)

Arya:- Nandini!!

Nandini:- Ayi bhaiya. (Coming brother.)

Manik:- Washroom mai chup jayu? ( Should I hide in washroom?)

Nandini:- Nahi. Tum ithar ao mere sath. ( no you come with me.)

Nandini took Manik near window she opened it.

Nandini:- Jao yeha se. ( Go from here.)

Manik:- Tumhara dimag tho tik hai? Yeha se jao matlab kya hai tumhara? Meri haddi tut jayega agar jump kiya tho. (Is your mind alright? Go from here what do you mean? If I jump, I will break my bone.)

Nandini:- Offo jump karne ko kisne bola hai. Tum window ke bahar jake khare ho jao. ( Offo I am not telling you to jump. You just stand outside the window.)

Manik looked down the spece was not enough for him to stand.

Manik:- Nandini mai gir jayuggi. ( Nandini I will fall.)

Nandini:- Manik please jao na. Nahi tho hum pakre jayegge. ( Manik please go. Otherwise we will get caught.)

Arya:- Nandini itna kyu time lagra hai? ( Nandini why are you taking so much time?)

Nandini:- Manik please.

Manik don't have any other choice. He got down from window and stood there. Nandini closed the window and pulled the curtains. She removed the sweat on her forehead. She opened the door with a nervous smile. Arya came inside.

Arya:- Itna kyu time laga tera door kholne mai? ( Why you took so much time opening door?)

Nandini:- Bhai mai washroom mai thi. ( Brother I was in washroom.)

Arya:- Mujhe laga tu kisi se bat kar rahi thi. ( I thought you were talking to someone.)

Nandini gave a nervous smile. She started playing with her hair.

Nandini:- Nahi tho bhai mai itni rat ko kisse bat karuggi. Woh na mai Mukti se bat kar rahi thi. Apne wohi sunna. ( no brother at this hour whom I will talk with. I was talking to Mukti. You heard that.)

Arya raised his eyebrow.

Arya:- Tune tho kaha tu washroom mai thi. ( You told me you were in washroom.)

Nandini fall on her own trap. Nandini quickly cooked up some story.

Nandini:- Woh mai washroom Jane ke pehle bat kar rahi thi na. ( Before going to washroom I wam talking to her.)

Arya nodded his head. Nandini made fake cry face.

Nandini:- Bhaiya ap mujpe shak kar rahe ho? Apko lagta hai mai apse jhut boluggi? ( Brother you are doubting on me? You think I will lie to you?)

Nandini made a puppy face.

Arya:- Ap tho mujhe pakka pata hai tu kuch chupa rahi hai. Tu jab bhi yese karta hai matalab kuch garbar hai. ( Now I am sure you are hiding something. Whenever you do this it's means something wrong.)

Arya started looking around the room. Nandini mentally slapped her. Arya looked under the bed, washroom, Almira, balcony.

Nandini (in mind):- Kya jarurat thi tujhe yeh bolne ki. Ayyappa please bacha le na aj. ( What was the need for you to say this. Ayyappa please save today.)

Nandini was biting her nails. Arya now went towards the window. Manik could feel that someone was near the window.

Manik (in mind):- Hai bhagwan kaha fasa diya mujhe please bacha le na. I promise mai kal mandir Jake apka darsan karugga. (God, where you trapped me. Please save. I will visit the temple tomorrow, I promise.)

Manik was not able to move also. If he did then he will fall on the ground. Next he would see him in hospital only which he don't want. Nandini was now hell scared.

Nandini (shout):- Bhaiya!! ( Brother!!)

Arya turned towards Nandini. Nandini jumped on her bed. Arya quickly came towards Nandini.

Arya:- Kya huya tujhe? ( What happened to you?)

Nandini was only jumping and shouting.

Nandini(fake scared):- Bhaiya Maine abhi abhi chota ek rat dekha. ( Brother I just saw a little rat.)

Arya:- Rat!!??

Arya looked around but he didn't found anything.

Arya:- Yeha tho kuch nahi hai. Tune galat dekha. ( There is nothing. You saw worng.)

Listening Nandini's shout Nandita and Abhi came to Nandini's room.

Nandita:- Kya huya? ( what happened?)

Arya:- Aree mom kuch nahi Nandini ne ek rat dekh liya tha. ( nothing mom. Nandini saw a rat.)

Nandita:- Rat!? Hohi nahi sakta. Tune galat dekha hoga. ( Rat!? It can't be. You saw worng.)

Nandini:- Shayed. ( May be.)

Arya:- Ab soja. ( go to sleep.)

Nandini nodded her head. Everyone came out of her room. Nandini sigh in relief. She waited more five minutes and went towards window. She opened it. Manik was somehow manage to stand there. Nandini gave Manik hand and pulled him into the room.

Manik:- That was close.

Manik wiped the sweat on his face.

Nandini:- Yeah it is. I thought we will get caught today.

Manik:- Mujhe bhi yehi laga tha. Wase tum tho bohot acha drama ka sakti ho. ( I also thought that. Well you can do a lot of drama.)

Nandini looked at Manik confusedly. Manik pulled Nandini towards him and hold her waist. Nandini kept her hand on his chest.

Manik:- Kese drama karke sab kuch Handel kar liya tumne meri drama queen. ( How you handle everything by doing drama my drama queen.)

Manik kissed Nandini's nose. Nandini blushed.

Arya was thinking something while going to his room.

Arya:- Nandini ke awaj sunkar sab aye Manik kyu nahi aya?( listening Nandini's voice everyone came. Why Manik didn't came?)

Arya was in deep thought.

Arya:- Kuch tho garbar hai. Jake dekhna parega. ( Something is not right. Have to go and see.)

Arya went to Manik's room. He opened the door. The room was dark only lampshade was on. But he could guess someone was sleeping on bed. Arya closed the door.

Arya(in mind):- He is here only sleeping. May be I was thinking too much.

Arya went to his room.

Nandini:- Manik tum yeha ho. Jab mai cillai thi tum tho yeha nahi the. Agar Arya Bhaiya tumhare room mai jaye tho? ( Manik you are here. When I shouted you didn't came here. What if Arya brother went to your room?)

Manik cared her cheek with his one hand other was holding her waist.

Manik:- Uska intejam Maine kar diya hai. Mai bed ke upar do pillow rakhke usse blanket se dhakke aya hu. ( I took care of it. I keep two pillows on the bed and coverd it with blanket.)

Nandini:- Wah mere shar tum bhi kuch kam nahi. ( Wow my tiger you are not less.)

Manik:- Woh tho mai hu. ( That I am.)

Both laughed. They joined there head together.

Nandini's father Yeash came home. Nandita gave him water. He looked happy today.

Nandita:- Aj kuch Jada hi kush najar arahe ho. Kya bat hai? ( you are looking extra happy today. What happened?)

Yeash:- Haan I'm very much happy today.

Nandita:- Yese kya bat hai. Jara mujhe bhi batao. (What is the matter. Just tell me.)

Yeash smiled.

Yeash:- Nandini ke liye rista aya hai. (Marriage proposal came for Nandini.)

That's for today. New challenge for Manan knocking on door. How will they Handel it? Any idea? Share your opinions with me.
