Hi...Sorry for not being around for a long time but was pre-occupied with a lot of things on personal and professional front...On the top of that the stupid writer block too added up for the delay...Anyways here's a new part...you wont find not much of Manik and Nandini in this part since the part is dedicated to Cabir and Navya...Hope you like it..

Manik and Nandini finished their breakfast with necessary pecks and love talks. They were relaxing in the lobby when Nandini received a message from Mukti asking her to join them for dress trials.

Nandini – Manik, Mukti has planned for trials, I think I will join them...even Amms and Dadi are coming.

Manik – Hmm..Okay...is Navya joining you too..??

Nandini – Yup that's what Mukti says...!!

Manik – Cool in that case, I would go to Cabirs after dropping you at the boutique..I wanted to have a conversation with him without Navya being around..!!

Nandini – I think you should...Cabir needs his best friend now more than ever....Cool then, let me grab my bag and we will head out..!!

Manik – Umm...Nandini..!!

Nandini – Don't worry Manik I shall take care of Navya...and will call you in case of any emergency,

Manik – Thank you and I love you..!!

Nandini – I love you too..!!

Soon, Manik and Nandini left for the boutique. On reaching the boutique, Manik met the ladies gang and quickly moved to Cabir's place in order to escape from the teasing that he and Nandini were being bestowed upon.

On reaching Cabir's place, he was welcomed by Cabir's parents.

Manik – Hello Uncle...Where is Cabir..??

Cabir's Dad – He is upstairs in his room...Good that you are here Manik, Cabir told us last night that you and Nandini are aware of Navya's condition. You know how Cabir is...While his smile is for the world, his pain is all for himself.

Cabir's Mom – Basically he is your clone Manik...probably that is why you both handle each other the best..We came here last night with a hope that he would share it with us but..

Words failed Cabir's Mom as she got emotional remembering her kid's pain. Manik stepped forward and hugged her.

Manik – Don't worry Aunty....I will speak with him...But you guys can't feel weak especially now because Navya and Cabir need your support more than ever...Navya will be fine soon...Don't worry..!!

Cabir's Mom and Dad – Amen..(and smile)

Manik – I will check on Cabir...!!

Nodding his head, he moved ahead to Cabir's room. He knocked twice but not getting reply from inside, he turned the knob and pushed the door open. On entering the room, he found Cabir sitting on the bed lost while his eyes were glued to the laptop screen on his lap. Manik silently closed the door and reached next to him with two long and quick steps.

Cabir's trance was broken when he felt a hand on his shoulder. He turned his head and Manik's concerned eyes were enough to act as a trigger for the tears to flow, the tears that he had forcefully held back all the time. He hugged Manik and cried his heart out while Manik too let him because he knew Cabir needed it. About a few minutes later, they broke apart and Manik wiped Cabir's tears. He passed Cabir a glass of water which Cabir gulped down in one go.

Manik – Cabir...You know you can share right...!!

Cabir – Manik...I can't imagine my life without Navya...It scares me..!!

Manik – Cabir tough times comes in everone's life...don't worry this time too shall pass..!!

Cabir – It would pass...only if Navya wants to live...but what am I supposed to do when she has lost the zeal to live and...

Manik – Hold on...Navya has lost the zeal to live..What makes you think like that..??

Cabir handed him the laptop

Cabir – Remember we all had decided to get something for Dhruv and Alya's kid....Look what Navya has made for the child. (Saying this he pressed the play button)

(Video starts playing with Navya speaking)

Navya – Hey Kid...This is your Aunt Navya...I hope to meet you in person but I am not really sure if that is possible,.. However no worries you can remember me with this video...You must be wondering why I am not around you, that is because, Your aunt Navya is not as judicious as the world perceives her to be.. She is flawed, your uncle Cabir terms her flaws as being human but I still believe her flaws had more to do with being reckless and looking for an easy way out... You know I was at a painful stage in life and at that point, instead of fighting it I found my escape in alchohol...the escape was easy and tempting but look where it got me..Away from you all...So kiddo, take this advice from your Aunt Navya, "Easy escapes no matters how luring it seems will always lead you to your doom...Never trust easy escapes." ... Escaping the easy escapes is what you can learn from me...You know kid you are the eldest in your generation and the tag of being the eldest come with a responsibility...I am saying this because I too am the eldest in the our group...!!..Surprised...Wait let me guess you thought your uncle Cabir is the eldest but guess what he is a month younger too me...But it is a TOP secret, keep it with yourself and let your Uncle Cabir live in his illusion where he is the eldest of us all...But you know the truth right I am the eldest...I wish I was responsible too but I still think I can pass on some virtues, some secrets to you that you can further pass on to the other kids of your generation...Kid just in case you and your friends take the path not so righteous or in simpler words if you ever commit a mistake, take help of your Uncle Manik for he is someone who not only owns up for his mistakes but also does everything in his power to slowly and steadily rectify the same without taking the easy roads...You know as kids we all need a confidant to keep secrets that we cannot share with our parents and there is nothing wrong with that...No matter how cool are parents are but still one always need that one person with whom you can share anything and everything under the sun...You know you can rely on you Aunt Nandini for the same for not only she'll keep your secrets and support you but also ensure that you never digress from what is right...Also, your aunt Nandini is, you can say, the most adaptive, nonjudgmental person I have come across...So she would be the best bet in this case...Coming to your parents and Uncle Abhi and Aunt Mukti, they can be defined as a support system who will never leave your side, by never I literally mean never...They would be glued to you forever without making you uncomfortable...I still have no idea how they do it but it is amazing how effortlessly they draw the line of intervention in every situation...Now coming to your Uncle Cabir...I am sure he would be the most loved in the your group as well...Uncle Manik calls him a Joker...I hope he still spreads happiness wherever he goes...But in case he doesn't can you please make sure he goes back to his normal self...I know my absence would affect him...Kid can you do me a favour...Can you hug him every day and tell him that I love him the most...Please be the hand that would slip into his whenever he would sit in the balcony silently watching the stars...Siting up there I shall shine the brightest whenever I see you both....Have a great life...God bless you...I love you kid...That's it from me..!!

Manik – What the hell is this..??

Cabir – Excatly...here I am trying my best to get her cured but tell me Manik how am I supoose to do that when she herself doesn't want to live..!!

Manik – Cabir..cabir..listen to me...Think from her perspective...she is depressed and in such a scenario shouting or getting angry at her will not help the case..

Cabir – Then what should I do...!!

Manik – We will make her life so beautiful, happy and filled with positivity that the thought of leaving us will never cross her mind...

Cabir – I can't lose her Manik...!!

Manik – and I promise that I shall try my best...!!

Just then Manik's phone rang with the caller being Nandini

Manik – Hello Nandini...Are you guys done..??

Manik panicked listening to Nandini on the other side

Manik – Ok we are coming...(cutting the call, he turns to Cabir)..

Cabir – Whats wrong Manik..??

Manik –Its Navya...We need to rush to the hospital..!!

Panicked the duo of Manik and Cabir rushed outside to hospital

An hour before at the boutique

The girls were busy with their trials when Navya felt pain in her right side just above the stomach. She immediately sat down on the adjoining Sofa and looked out for Nandini but before she could call her for rescue she felt her breath getting heavy and in a few seconds she was lying unconscious on floor taking everyone off guard.

Dadi – Navyaaaa ...can someone get me a glass of water..!!

Nandini – We need to take her to the hospital...Mukti please ask the driver to get the car fast and Alya call Cabir now...!!... (to the store staff) Please help us in taking her to the car..

The store staff pitched in and carried Navya to the car. Others too settled in the car with Nyonika in the front seat, Alya and Mukti on the last row and Nandini with her Chachi and Navya in the middle row while Amms and Dadi were in another car.

Alya – Damn...cabir's phone is switched off...!!

Nandini – Try Manik's number...he should be with him..!!

Alya – I did but he also didn't answer...!!

Nandini – Keep trying Alya...Keep trying... Navya's phone...where is her phone..??

Nyonika – Here in her bag...!!

Nandini placed Navya's thumb on the home button to unlock the phone, quickly searched the doctor's number and dialed him

Nandini – Hello Dr.Singh...This is Nandini Murthy, friend of your patient Ms. Navya.

The word "Patient" grabbed everyone's attention in the car, including Dadi and Amms who were on constant call through Chachi's phone.

Dr.Singh – Yes Please tell me..!!

Nandini – Doc Navya fell unconscious a while ago...

Dr.Singh – Can you get her to the hospital immediately...I can send the ambulance if you want..!!

Nandini – No Doc..that is not needed...we are bringing her to the hospital...I just wanted to ensure that you at the hospital...Also is there anything we can do in the meantime...!!

Dr.Singh – I am afraid without checking can't comment...Going by her tests results received a few day ago..it shouldn't be anything serious...!!

Nandini – I hope so too doc...We are almost here...!!

Dr.Singh – I'll meet you at the entrance then..!!

Nandini – Thanks Doc...!!

Saying this Nandini disconnected the call

Nandini – I know you all have a lot of questions...but it isn't my place to answer please wait till Cabir comes or Navya regains consciousness...that reminds me..Alya have you been able to reach out to Cabir or Manik..??

Alya – No...Let me try again...!!

Nandini – You call Cabir..let me call Manik...

Nandini dialed Manik's number and fortunately he answered the call.

Manik – Hello Nandini...Are you guys done..??

Nandini – Mnaik Navya fell unconscious at the boutique...we are taking her to the hospital...Please come fast...!!

Manik – Ok we are coming

The ward boys place Navya on the stretcher and moved to the emergency ward as Dr.Singh had already instructed the nurses to get it ready. Before entering he turned to girls and asked...

Dr. Singh – Cabir..??

Nandini – We have informed him he is on his way..!!

Dr.Singh nodded and moved inside while the ladies settled down on the chairs outside the ward. Mukti had informed everyone else too while they were on the way to the hospital and in a span of ten minutes Abhimanyu, Dhruv, Raj (Mukti Father) and Raman (Abhimanyu's father) too joined them. Around ten minutes later Cabir and Manik came running in with Cabir's parents behind them

Cabir – Navya..??

Nandini – They have taken her to the emergency...Doc said it shouldn't be anything serious but he cannot confirm until he checks..!!

Cabir – How...??

Nandini – Honestly I have no clue...we were almost done with the trials and suddenly Navya fell on the floor unconscious...!!

Cabir nodded his head and slumped down on the chair behind. Manik was about to settle next to him when Dadi stopped him and herself took the seat next to Cabir. She placed her hand on Cabir's shoulder, in a few minutes Cabir turned and hugged her tightly. The tears that he had held back started flowing while Dadi rubbed his back. Neyonika and Supriya consoled Cabir's Mother while Raj and Raman became his father's support. This was the beauty of their bonds; a bond whose foundation was laid when their children can together, a bond that never asked for explanations, neither failed from standing up for each other and with each other.

Dadi – Cabir..Bacha..don't worry she will be fine...!!

Raj – I have called Rohtash too...he too will coordinate with the doctor here...!!

Neyonika – Has someone informed her parents..??

Rashmi (Cabir's Mother) – I dropped them a message....they were already coming to Mumbai for the wedding...They would be be landing a few minutes I guess...!!

Amms – Rashmi Beta...how did this happen...by the looks of it, I think it is not the first time that something of this sort has taken place..!!

Atulya (Cabir's Father) filled in everyone with the details which left them shocked and appalled with the turn of events. Navya's parents too reached the hospital in the meantime.

Abhi – Cabir... Water...??

Cabir nodded his head. Mukti took out the water bottle in her bag and offered the same to Cabir.

Dhruv – Manik...you and Nandini knew about this...why didn't you tell us...??

Manik – Buddy we too came to know just a few days back...These two were fighting this alone all this while..!!

Mukti – Why Cabir....Don't you find us worthy enough to share your worries and troubles...How could you keep it to yourself for 6 years...!!

Cabir – You know it isn't like that Mukti...It's just that when I came to know, Navya was already living with self-guilt followed by self-pity...I knew telling you would mean you all would start taking her responsibility and shower her with your care...But with the mindset that Navya was in at that time, the more care showered on her the more she indulged in herself self-pity... I know it sounds absurd but that was the right thing to do at that time....Then post her renab, everything was back to normal until we got to know about the tumor but then it was wedding time and Navya wanted to reveal it after wedding..!!

Dhruv – What about her treatment... tumor needs to be operated right..!!

Cabir – Yes we will get that done after the wedding...!!

Abhi – What do mean by after the wedding...Dude...wedding can wait..!!

Mukti – Exactly Cabir...Navya is more important than the wedding...we can have it once the she is fit and fine..!!

Cabir – Guys..Be rational..it is in 5 days from now... Invitations are out, cancelling it at this point is not the right thing to do...!!

Abhi – You don't need to worry about that...we will take care of everything..!!

Cabir – And when someone asks the reason what will you say then..!!

The group failed to notice Dr.Singh who was listening to their conversation from past few minutes

Dr.Singh – Can I suggest something..!!

Everyone surrounded him as soon as he spoke..

Cabir – How is she...is she okay..??

Dr.Singh – She is fine...I think it is just stress and nothing else..She would gain consciousness in a while...and about the operation...yes the tumor needs to be removed...but her body is not yet ready for the extensive treatment...hence, we can have the operation only after a month...In the mean time we shall work towards strengthening her body medically and with diet...I don't have to think of emotional support because by the looks of it, I think that can be taken care...By that way..I forgot to ask...when is the wedding..??

Cabir – 5 days from now...

Abhi – Would you mind if we give you a last minute invitation..!!

Dr.Singh– Do you have chicken biryani on the menu..!!

Abhi – Yes...

Dr.Singh – Then I would be there without any doubt...Take care gentleman...and congratulations to the couple..!!

Abhi and Mukti – Thank you Doc..!!

Saying this Dr.Singh went off to check on other patients.

Dadi – See Navya will be fine...Don't worry Cabir..!!

Cabit – I hope Dadi..!!

Manik – cabir now you are being pessimistic...Don't think too much abou the video...You don't kno when that was shot...plus as I said we all here, we wont allow Navya to think negatively..!!

Nandini – Hold on what video...!!

Manik – Navya made a video for Alya and Dhruv's kid more like just-in-case-I-am-not-here sort of a video...and this guy thinks that she doesn't want to live..!!

Nandini – No Cabir...you are wrong..I don't know about the video but off late whenever I have spoken with her, she wants to live and win over her sickness...please don't let a video worry you..!!

Alya – Where is the video..??

Manik – I saw it on Cabir's Laptop..!!

Dhruv – Cabir password...Message me your Laptop password..!!...Alya lets go...(to the group) We will be back soon.

Saying this Dhruv and Alya left. Soon Navya gained consciousness. The family members too met her one by one before the gang up and took her in a hug. The elders did scold her but at the same gave her blessing for a long life. Navya was overwhelmed to know Abhi and Mukti were ready to postpone their wedding for her. Alya and Dhruv too returned and handed over a pen drive to Navya. Clueless, Navya looked up at her and Alya place Navya's hand on her tummy

Alya – Well the kid in here wants the "God Mother" to pass on these words of wisdom herself and not through a video..!!

Navya's eyes brimmed with happy tears and gang came forward for another hug.
