Manik's pov

I knew that nandu will love baby as he is veebha's baby but never thought that she will feel soo attached to him....the way she learnt every little detail with ease and concentration....the way she held him in her lap and when he latched her thinking as his mother... I can never forget the emotion her eyes held....I was myself shocked to see the motherly warmth for him...for a second I actually forgot that nandu is not his original Mother....thank goddd !!!! Usne nahin dekha... Pehle V ne hum dono se promise maangi that we will marry each other even before I could say yes she...she...god !!! now nandu is getting attached to baby soo quickly...I can't let this happen...nandu can't spoil her life by taking care of baby as people will question our relation...par I can't even separate them from each other coz he is everything we have....I can take care of him alone with the help of thai...but...what about motherly love ?? Mujhe usse sach batana padhega but when he will big enough and may be someone will accept the baby along with nandu....but right now it will be better if baby stays away from nandu....and plus point is that he is comfortable with me...chalo manik...get on with your work...the more you delay the more it will be difficult to separate them...

Manik reached his room to check on nandu and baby as tonight it's his room...he slowly opened the door and saw the room to be completely empty...he noticed a new cradle near bed on nandu side...

It was soo cute... There was a net covering baby completely....he slowly moved towards cradle and saw him sleeping cutely....manik found himself smiling looking at his peaceful face and a sigh escaped his lips...he never noticed his features clearly but now that he saw them from so near he was soo happy...he sat on bed and got lost in baby...a lone tear escaped his eyes which was wiped before it can reach even his jaw....manik on sensing some touch turned to his right and found nandu smiling at him looking like a freshly plucked flower....he again lost in her while she too saw his eyes and got lost in them...they were trying to absorb each other presence when manik sighed and placed his head in nandu's lap while sleeping on bed....nandu slowly started to caress his hairs...

Manik(taking her hand):pata hain nandu...jabse yeh paidha hua I never actually noticed his features but now that I saw him he is an exact replica of V...same eyes which used to always tease me whenever she found me doing something stupid...his cheeks...they are also same...I feel though as if I am looking at baby V....no wonder we love him a lot already...

Nandu(smiling):Haina Manik !! Wahi main soch rahi thi ki why I am unable to cry on loosing maa who is the most important part of me but when he resembles her that much and when I know that her soul is with us but in different personality then why should I cry ?? (changing the topic) par manikk !!! Humne toh baby ka name hi decide nahin kiya...kya rakhe ???

Manik too stood up on hearing this and settled beside her...he hugged her from neck and started to swing along with her as if thinking what to do but was not speaking anything...

Nandu got irritated with his continuous moving and pushed him a little whinning while manik laughed a little and pulled her cheeks while she huffed them and pushed his hands....she was about to get up but manik pulled her back and she landed on his lap...

He got startled for a second but composed himself as it was not new for them but his new feelings might make them both uncomfortable while nandu was blushing as she was not confused like him and is more than happy to settle comfortably....she placed her hands around his neck while manik too held her from back but never touched anywhere else...he slowly started to play with her hair strands...

Manik:bacchhaa !!! Main insab mein itna occupied tha ki I seriously not thought about it...aur tu toh jaanti hai na ki I am not that much intelligent like you ??

Nandu(grinning):woh toh hai...

Manik(smirking):dekhaa !!! Now tell me...what should we name him ??

Nandu thought for a while but couldn't get any....meanwhile manik too thought and nandu suddenly remembered something...

Nandu(shouting):Manikkkk !!!!

Manik(closing his ears with fingers):Goddd !!!! Nanduuu !!!

Nandu(giggling):suno na !!! Di na hamesha kehti thi ki she wanted her baby to represent peace and provide wisdom to everyone in need of it and never do the mistake her parents did...we will make sure that he grows like that...haina ???

Manik(smiling):yes !!! Par pehle name toh batao ???

Nandu:Aarav !!! Aarav Malhotra !!

Manik(in a trance):Aarav Manik Malhotra !!

Nandu looked at him in shock as till now she too never thought about it as she felt herself as his mother but forgot that he should also think himself as his father...she slowly remembered how manik never promised veebha when she asked for their marriage....she felt a bit sad and manik too noticed this...he tried to understand the reason and recalled their recent talks...he remembered how he added his name with baby's name and sighed....he slowly let her sit on bed and cupped her cheeks...

Manik:kya soch raha hai mera bacha ??

Nandu(smiling):bhookh lagi hai !!!

Manik laughed as he knew she is deliberately doing so and nandu knew manik understood everything even though she didn't say anything....yet none of them expressed it and agreed on food topic as they knew they both don't need words to understand each other's turmoil....they left downstairs after checking on baby...

Hey guyss !!! How are you all ?? Long time and short update but could only manage this much...hoping to give a bigger one soon...till then take care all of you... Waise... Anyone missed me ??
