Manan reached their mansion along with veebha's body as they know veebha's every happy moment was in this house...they informed her parents on the way and manik made a few calls to do all the arrangements....veebha's parents though were always busy in taking care of their business yet never thought that veebha will loose her life....manan decided to not disclose about baby to anyone...let people think whatever they wish to but they will not let anyone point their finger at veebha as she was an emerging figure in business world !! Being daughter of a business man and best friend of the most successful and youngest bachelor of India....everyone knows veebha singhania !! Even veebha's parents doesn't deserve to know anything as they knew they will think of it as a sin and will fear for their prestige....

manik managed doctors into changing the reports and they agreed as manik was the major trustee of hospital !! It was declared that she suffered from blood cancer and it was diagnosed at last stage....since veebha was living in an apartment from the time she returned back after finishing her higher studies no one knew about her life happenings except her trusted thai who was her daimaa from her childhood who used to take care of her in her apartment as veebha's brother is big enough to handle himself and she was attached to veebha emotionally !! Nandu left baby in veebha's apartment with thai as they trusted her....she knew manan from childhood as they used to visit veebha's house from childhood....everyone arrived at manan villa and provided their condolences to veebha's parents....though it was discussed as why her body was in Malhotra's house but none dared to ask as they knew manik's anger....moreover there was a rumor spread that manik will marry both nandu and veebha !! That's how our society is....right ??

All the men left for burial ground while ladies remained at house itself....nandu made sure that everyone were taken care of well....veebha's mother was a mess as she lost her daughter.... She knew her daughter always craved for her time and couldn't give it to her due to her work commitments and now she regrets them all....nandu felt so pity on her that she thought to tell her about baby but then remembered that just because she is crying doesn't mean she will take out time for baby....anyways baby is gonna be left with daimaa and this time she may not be good one as thai left her job and they don't wish to appoint her again as she argued with them several times earlier about not caring for children but they never changed... So thai left the house after huge battle and veebha searched a lot before she found her at her colleague's house....nandu left the thought and waited for manik to return....soon they all returned and one by one guests left the place promising to attend lunch in coming days....

Once everyone left Mr. Singhania talked with manik regarding 12 days rites performed in their house as already people are talking about it....manik was not ready to agree but nandu held his arm and pressed it indicating him to accept it....manik though was reluctant yet couldn't say no to nandu....Mr & Mrs. Singhania left after thanking him and asking him to attend all the rites....as soon as they left manik turned towards nandu and stood by crossing his arms demanding an answer....nandu smiled at his antic and moved closer to him...she loosened his arms and moved a little bit more closer...

Nandu(cupping his face):They are her parents manik !! May be they didn't cared for her when she was alive but she came to this world because of them and it's their right to do her last rites with their hands....we are no one to snatch it from them !! Di will be happy to know that we will do her last rites but her soul will be at peace knowing her parents care for her atleast after her death...They were able to take out time atleast now....if we will find even at a single point of time that they are not doing all these heartfully then we will take it over from there...ok ??

Manik:hmmm....

Nandu(pulling his cheeks):ab has bhi lo mere golu....

Manik(sternly):nandu !!!!

Nandu laughed and pulled his hand while moving out and shouted "chalooo !!! Jaldii !!! Mujhe mere bete se milna haii " and manik couldn't stop his smile which was forming on his lips....he silently followed nandu while they left to veebha's apartment which manik gifted her on her 18th birthday as she was a major at that time....it was a gift of her adult years !! Manan soon reached the apartment and entered the flat....they settled in living room with baby in nandu's lap who was awake and trying to imitate nandu.....

Manik and thai are admiring them....

Shanta thai !! She came to mumbai in search of a job and was suggested at singhania mansion by her neighbour....her husband used to work in a factory where he lost his life in an accident !! By that time it was almost an year since she started to babysit veebha and her brother till they both fell asleep...as veebha met manan after 2 months of joining her new school so she started to spend even nights with them after a month...in such situations she used to leave early...after her husbands death veebha convinced her family members to appoint her as a permanent staff and they had to agree as they knew no one can bear her and her brother....that's the main reason why they couldn't remove her from job !! She left singhania house after veebha left for her post graduation as her brother never heard her words....nor he was bearable...

She gave them refreshments and enquired about all the happenings...she wanted to attend but she have to take care of baby...

Manik:Thai !!! Aap aage kya karne wale hai ??

Thai:abhi socha nahin bacha... Koyi nayi naukri dhundungi !!

Nandu:aap humare saath humare ghar aajayiye na...humare paas bhi toh koyi nahin hai...daada daadi bhi jyada nahin aate...aur ab toh baby bhi hai na ?? Aapka saath hoga tha acha rahega...mujhe toh kuch aata Nahin aap jaante hai na....aur di kitna khush hogi yeh jaanke ki unki daimaa unke bete ki daimaa hai..aajayiye na plzzz !!!

Thai:aree !! Nahin nahin bacha !! Aisa mat boliye...mera bhi kaun hai iss duniya mein....veebha beti ke baad tum dono hi toh mere apne ho...bas...iss ghar mein veebha ki yaadein hai...

Nandu:aur is bache mein uska ansh....

Thai couldn't stop her smile as nandu was right...she just nodded her head and left from there to pack her luggage....once she was all set to go they all went along with baby's all necessities which manik and veebha bought during baby's birth...they all reached manan villa away from media eyes as right now they are not ready to face media....

Evening

Thai helped nandu in bathing baby as how to massage him with oil first so that his hands and legs are stretched....then how to neatly apply body wash on him...how to dry him with towel gently as a little force and he will have scratches...nandu found it amusing yet was happy as she felt privileged to do all these things to him....but the major task was ahead...making him wear diaper as he is dropping his legs down...thai have to literally lift his legs and hold them in air so that she can make him wear diaper...normally anyone will lift legs with one hand and wear diaper with other one but she being completely unaware of all these things found it as a hurricane task !! Finally when she was done with it she released her breath while baby is just smiling at her....

nandu tried to glare at him but couldn't as his cute face was making it difficult for her....they reached living room and handed baby to manik as thai wanted nandu to learn everything....she showed her how to prepare formula and which one suited him....till veebha was not admitted in hospital she used to feed him milk but as she is as loosing her blood doctor advised to not feed him....they usually have all types of milk formulae and they found the best one for him....they returned back to manik and nandu settled down with him in her lap....nandu was about to place bottle in his mouth when he latched his mouth on her left nipple as his head was rested near her chest....

Nandu felt a different warmth in her heart....she was not ready to let him go but thai helped him to unlatch her nipple and immediately placed milk bottle....nandu was just lost in baby as if he was the only one present in the entire world...thai slowly shaked nandu and she came out of her trance....nandu looked at the spot where baby latched few seconds back and found her nipple as it was wet due to saliva...she in a reflex looked at manik who was busy in watching tv....nandu turned towards thai and she blinked in assurance stating that he didn't saw anything and she left to her room....
