Navya's room

Nandu finished telling their story anf both the girls are in aww but there is a soul who is shocked to the core after learning the truth....it was manik who happened to hear their conversation along with boys according to cabir's plan to eavesdrop their gossips as they expected it to be of some girly stuff but it turned out to be the most shocking news to manik as cabhi are already aware of it !! Girls continued with their talks about college and girls in their colleges unaware of the surprises and shocks in their way.....

Outside navya's room

Boys moved away from there and came back to cabir's room which was beside theirs....manik quietly sat on couch with phone in his hands pretending to do something in it but he is lost in his own world while cabir and abhi settled on bed !!

Abhi:Guys !! I guess it's time !! I need to propose mukti before it gets too late and she herself propose me....

Cabir(chuckling):That's true !! Par aaj tak tune kyun nahin socha iss baare mein ??

Abhi:I thought she don't have any feelings for me...but now when I got to know what she thinks of me I can't wait anymore...moreover I was afraid to loose her friendship and felt she might think Iam plotting to gain her property...I know she will never think so low about me still...you know...

Cabir(cutting him off):I can understand !! What say manik ??

Manik(coming out of trance):huh ??

Cabir(calmly):abhi wishes to propose mukti !!

Manik(smiling):Yeah !! Go ahead !! She deserves the best !! Just keep her happy !!

Abhi(cheerful):main abhi jaake arrangements karta hoon and will propose her tonight itself !!

Cabir chuckled but nodded in yes !! Abhi ran from there making few calls and cabir stood up from his place to move towards manik....he sat beside him and pulled him for a hug while manik gave in without any protest....he was in shock after knowing the biggest truth of his life that his princess is in love with him...its not like he is offended by it but he is afraid that she might face a heartbreak as he himself is unaware of his feelings towards her !! According to him she is his responsibility,his only reason to live but he is not sure whether he loves her as a girl or as their parents princess !!

Cabir(breaking his trance):Kya socha hain manik ??

Manik(breaking the hug):mujhe kuch samaj mein nahin aa raha hain cabir....nandu...nandu...she loves me yaar...(sighing)

Cabir(quietly):Aur tu ??

Manik just looks at cabir and the doubtfulness in his eyes was enough to assure him that he is yet to realise his feelings which he himself is unaware of....he thought to leave him alone and left the room !! Manik changed into vest and tracks after having a relaxed shower and laid down on bed...meanwhile girls too ended their party as navya needed sleep and mukti left to meet abhi as she received a message from him that he wants her to be with him !! so nandu left the room while navya drifted into slumber as soon as they both left...nandu opened the door of their room and entered inside only to witness manik sleeping on bed with closed eyes !! She smiled at him and left to change into a night dress !!

Nandu came out of washroom after 5 minutes and slowly slipped into covers...she hugged manik from waist and placed her head on his chest...she drifted into a deep sleep soon while staring him in adoration !! Once she is completely asleep manik opened his eyes and turned to look at her face !!

Manik(pov):Kya hua hain princess tumhe ?? Why you fell in love with me ?? Main tumhe khush dekhna chahtha hoon with a happy and peaceful smile adoring your face with a beautiful family where your husband will love you with all his life !! Par tumne mujhe kyun choose kiya bacha ?? Main tumhe kabhi koyi khushi nahin de sakta !! You need to know this...you are my responsibility jo mom dad ne mujhe diya...I know you are just attracted towards me aur kuch nahin....this is the age where you will easily get infatuated when someone will shower you with more love and affection...once you meet your soulmate you will yourself fall in love with him but not infatuation like with me....I will bring the best man for you mera bacha !! The best !!

He hugged her tightly in his arms and slept while inhaling her fragrance unaware of the fact that she is not infatuated towards him but in true love while his sense of responsibility is his pure love towards her !!

Outside palace

Mukti was roaming around searching for abhi as he is no where to be found and she is really worried as it is very rare for abhi to be outside at this time unless he is in office or miss his parents !! She is trying to call him but he is not receiving which made her more anxious !! She reached palace gate when watchman smiled at her and gave her a rose bouquet....she frowned yet accepted it and is examining it....

Suddenly out of no where a car came and halted infront of her....the person driving the car came out and opened back door of the car while mukti is gaping at him....

Mukti(shocked):Ramesh !!! Tum itni raat ko yaha kya kar rahe ho ?? (😅😅😅you guys thought it to be abhi right ?? Who thought so ?? )

Ramesh:Ji mam !! Abhimanyu sir ne bhulaya tha...aur main aap sab ka driver hoon jo aapko kahin bhi leke jaaye...yeh mera job hain...agar cabir sir ko pata chala toh mujhe maar daalenge !! Baithiye !! Abhimanyu sir ne aapko leke jaane ko kaha !!

Mukti nodded in yes and sat down while driver started the car...he is one of cabir's trustworthy driver whom he appointed for his friends so that they don't get troubled with road and all !! They reached outskirts of the city after about 20 minutes and as soon as mukti got down from the car ramesh drove off without waiting for her startling her !! She tried to switch on torch in her mobile when she felt a hand on her left hand wrist which is holding the bouquet !!

She recognised instantly who it is and felt relieved having him beside her...he slowly started to walk along with her and after walking for few minutes mukti began to see light and as they moved further view got clear....she got an Idea of What is going to happen over there yet kept quite trying to hide her smile even though it is dark !! They reached setting and mukti was made to stand at the middle...she can now see his face and smiled looking at abhi who is in his night wear....she looked down at herself and realised that she too is no less as she is still in their girl's party wear !!

Though it is her regular wear yet an odd dress for their uninvited date !! She is looking at him in awe while abhi finally gaining confidence enough to speak out his heart knelt down after holding her right palm !!

Abhi(blushing) : Mukti !! Iam not getting how to start it but...I know one thing and that is jabse meri hormones mein change aayi tabse sirf tumhari taraf attract hua hoon...(mukti is gawking at him while he chuckled looking at her expressions)just kidding !! I don't know from when but the only girl in my life till now is you ofcourse apart from nandu and want it to be you forever till our daughter comes in this world if only you agree for it....

mukti blushed while he left her hand and took out a rose from his pocket while she is just looking at the rose in his hand and then roses in her hand !!

Abhi:Yahi soch rahi ho na ki why these roses ?? I will tell you...if you remember or not we were first enemies as at childhood you used to get scoldings from mama for being naughty,cranky and stubborn and me being sincere and good child used to be in his good books which used to make you feel jealous and used to beat me....I used to defend myself and thus it lead to our fights but our parents couldn't bear it and hence mama stopped his scoldings which slowly led to peace between us and later a bud to our friendship !! So...the bouquet in your hand has three types of roses indicating our relationship status....
White - for peace between us
Yellow - for our friendship
And finally....red...for our love !!This single rose is indicating our life journey !! (he handed it to her and she took it with a smile)Mukku !! I Love you !! Mere paas kuch mera kehna ka kuch bhi nahin hain...including the job Iam doing but trust me I have never taken even a penny extra apart from what my position offers and the position in which Iam is a complete result of my hardwork !! Mom dad ke death ke baad mama mami ne har ek khushi di... But the peace which my heart was in search was found in you !! Will you be mine for the rest of my life ??

Mukti(with tears):Yes !! I would love to and I love you too....

Abhi(sheepish):I know that !!

Mukti(confused):Huh ??

Abhi:Can I stand ?? My legs are paining !!

Mukti(laughing):Sorry !! Come on !! Get up !!

She helped him to get up and once he stood on his feet mukti hugged him tightly and kissed his cheeks !! Abhi broke the hug and took out a box from his pocket while mukti is looking at him !! He opened it and took out a pendant from it !! Mukti is looking at it in confusion as it is so unique !!

Abhi(making her wear it):Yeh koyi normal locket nahin hain.....isse papa ne specially mom ke liye specially banaya...yeh key jo hain iska matlab hain ki from now onwards the key to my heart lies with you....isse todhna hain yah secured rakhna hain tumhari marji aur yeh 'a' jo hain... This is the starting letter of dad's name alok and mom ne meri name unki name ki starting letter se match ho yeh soch ke rakha and this was given to me after mom's death as unhone till her last breath isse nikhala nahin....I have secured it till today but from today it is your responsibility !! Take care of it !! This is my parents last memory !!

Mukti didn't knew what to say...she is feeling on cloud 10 and just placed the bouquet and rose on the ground...she held his face in her hands and placed her lips on his !! Though she is abold girl and tom boyish yet this is her first kiss and she is unaware of what to do next while abhi held her waist and taught her how to do it.....they broke it after 5 minutes as it was their first kiss and got seated down with abhi supported by pillar and mukti beside him hugging him sideways !!

Mukti:Ab batao !! How do you know that I love you ??

Abhi(stammering):Woh....We heard your talks tonight !!

Mukti(breaking hug and getting shocked):What ?? You stalked me ?? And who is this we ?? Matlab...tum teeno ?? Godd !!!

Abhi is gulping the lump in his throat while mukti is glaring him !!!
