I snorted quietly.
Dogs?!? Dogs were one of the many animals we were trained to hunt. Other then dogs. We ruthlessly hunted chimps, rhinos, ostriches, bears, mountain lions, boars, snakes, and even people.
I shook my head desperately trying to rid my head of those horrid memories filling my thoughts. The elder glanced at me. His eyes full of sympathy. I growled when I smelled a woman and her dog partner enter the room. She looks me up and down. Her partner trying to glare me down. To him I was the omega. I growled louder. Baring my canine teeth.
That seemed to have lit a fuse in her partner's mind. He tackled me, I was ready though. I threw him off and lowered my vulnerable neck and gave a low growl of warning for him to back off.
''I don't want to fight you! You are the Alpha, but you are not my Alpha!'' I snarled using a mind connection to the alpha male. Through my opinion, he's a skilled fighter, well worthy of his title. To which I'm not putting up the risk to gain injury to fight him. That seemed to make him back down but did not put his fangs away. I didn't either. I didn't want to be trained by these people.
The elder looked at me and the Alpha dog. Then glanced at the woman who was the Alpha dog's partner. She nodded at the elder before walking towards me, her eyes locked with mine.
She tried to take off the fingerless armored gloves that were on my paws. I snapped at her hands, not looking to bite her, but giving her a warning to back off.
''Back off." I snarled the best way I could as human with being a wolf.
This seemed to intriege the woman, she spoke to me.
"My name is Tsume. You are Sam, correct, because I will be the one training you. If not me then it will be other members of the Inuzuka Clan.''
I growled silently, I've been trained to be a test subject, to be a super mutant. I have no interest in becoming a test subject again. I snarl at the smell of multiple dogs. The wolf me 'Stormbringer' is frustrated that these former wolves have actually given up their loyalty to sister moon to become a human's servant. I sigh heavily, thinking of the other experiments like me, the ones who have remembered their past. I only ever killed the ones who were far to gone to be reasoned with. Their humanity gone and replaced with that of the beast. I grieve for the ones that have only known pain, hunger, and cruelty.
