Calm Before The Storm

(Pete)

No normal human being should be up this early. It was 7:00 in the fucking morning and I'd already showered and washed my hair. I never washed my hair on school days!

I stared down at the clothes that were lying on my bed. White button up. Cardigan; because Patrick liked cardigans. Black slacks; because Patrick said it looked more professional. Tie; because no matter what Patrick said, I wasn't wearing a fucking bowtie. I got dressed quickly and slipped my shoes on. I turned to face the mirror. I looked like a total idiot.

Patrick: It's 7:30

Pete: I knw

Patrick: I'm surprised you're actually up.

Pete: I dsrv rwrds

Patrick: I agree

Pete: Sex?

Patrick: No.

Patrick: Let's go. And don't forget your homework.

I laughed and slipped my phone into my pocket. He'd said the same thing last night when I was going back into the house. He refused to to anything sexual the entire time. But when it was time for me to go, he pulled me into a kiss and told me not to forget my homework. I wonder if it was a euphemism for something. Maybe code for I wanna fuck you. I hope it was.

I grabbed my bookbag and headed down the stairs. I saw my mother's smile fall slightly when I rushed into the kitchen for my PopTart. She must have been expecting Brendon. Which meant Brendon was late. Ha!

"Good morning mother." I said in my best Brendon voice.

"Good morning, Peter. Where is your brother?"

"I don't know. But I'm leaving."

"You can't-"

"My friend is giving me a ride. I don't want to be late because of him." I smiled. "Damn that felt good to say."

"Peter!"

"Mind your words, son." My father warned from behind the paper he loved to read so much.

"Sorry."

I slammed the front door behind me. Patrick's car was parked exactly where it was last night. If it weren't for his different clothes, I would have thought he never left. I hopped into the tall truck and closed the door. Patrick smiled as he drove off.

"Don't you look dapper."

"Bite me."

"No. You really look good. And clean."

"Clean? Are you insinuating that I usually look dirty?"

"Yes." I laughed sarcastically. He slowed the car down as we approached a stop sign. "Bring your face here."

"Why?"

"I want to reward you for waking up so early."

I smiled as I leaned in closer to Patrick. I was always smiling around him. It made me feel like some sort of love sick teenage girl. And that wasn't my style at all.

(Brendon)

I was woken up by the sound of my phone ringing. My eyes reluctantly opened and I grabbed the phone off of the nightstand.

"Hello?"

"Your sleepy voice is sexy as hell."

"Good morning, Ryan."

I never got tired of hearing his voice. We stayed on the phone until I fell asleep last night. Which was actually around two in the morning. Ryan sung to me and told me stupid stories. And I just listened. Totally mesmerized by the sound of his voice. It was almost as beautiful as his face.

"Are you just waking up?"

"Yeah. Why are you up so early?"

"It's eight in the morning, Bren. I've been parked outside for about thirty minutes."

"Holy crud!"

I jumped up from the bed. Why didn't anyone wake me up? I wasn't going to have time to shower. There was no way I was going to be late for school again. I stripped out of my uniform from yesterday. Digging in my drawers and pulling on a pair of beige pants. I stepped into the shoes that were beside my bed. I slipped the white button up on. Only bothering to button the last three buttons. I grabbed a vest and tie out of the dresser and my bag that was hanging on the back of the door.

My mother and father were sitting downstairs in the kitchen as always. When she saw me, my mother rushed over to me immediately.

"Brendon, baby, are you okay?"

"Fine mom." I reached into the cabinet for one of Pete's unhealthy PopTarts. "I have to go, I'm late."

"Do you have the car keys?"

"I'm riding with a friend again."

"Who-"

"Mother, do you not understand what the word late means?" I snapped. "Ask me all these questions when I come home."

I felt bad immediately after I opened my mouth. A hurt look filled my mother's face.

"When you come home you are grounded, mister!"

I clicked my tongue. I was supposed to hang out with Ryan today. "For being late?"

"For coming in late." My father corrected.

Crud. "Fine. Whatever. Bye."

I ran out the front door. Ryan's car was parked in front of the house. I opened and door and sat down with an annoyed groan. When I looked over at him, he was smiling. It made me feel a little bit better.

"Rough morning?" He asked.

"The worst." I clicked my seatbelt as he drove off.

"Do you need another blowjob?"

"Ryan!" My face flushed cherry red. I turned to stare out my window so he wouldn't see it.
