I need my fellow Adam fans Manimatsu -Dying-Angels- and LillianDuncan  for this. Also this is gonna contain spoilers for volume 6 chapter 12. So if you don't want to be spoiled and this is a big spoiler in warning you know I would wait and come back later.

Are we good? Ok for those of us that saw today's episode we all know that Adam was killed by Blake and Yang. And before anybody says "no body no death" uhhh

Yeah I don't think he can survive that guys. But anyway if this really is the end of Adam I wanted to give my final thoughts on him as a character. The reactions I've seen from the community have been one of three things either "yes I'm so glad he's dead now nothing is in the way of Bumblebee becoming canon" or "it was a long time coming I'm glad he's dead" or "RT screwed up again and killed him off just when they were giving him character development" and I'm none of those. My opinion on the whole thing is "Yes I'm sad he's dead but I understand why they killed him off."

Think of it this way Adam's whole character was meant to be a parallel to Blake. He and the whole white fang thing were meant to be what Blake had to overcome in her own personal arc. At the end of volume 5 the white fang was basically disbanded so that left Adam as the only thing she had to overcome. And she did in last week's episode. She proved to him that he didn't scare her anymore and she was stronger without him.

I will admit though that I didn't like the way Adam's character went out. To me he should've been more like "I'm still gonna keep fighting for the Faunus and I'm gonna take out whoever stands in my way. Even if it's you Blake." Instead we got "I'm still not over my crush on you Blake and I'm gonna kill you so nobody else can have you. Oh and also I'm gonna destroy everything you love because I promised I would." Like I thought we were past creepy stalker ex boyfriend Adam but I guess not.

Now I'm going to address the other claims I've seen people made. If you're a hardcore bumblebee shipper and are glad that Adam is dead and Sun is gone so Blake and Yang can get together. Then keep thinking that but I'm not stirring that toxic pot. For those of you that are glad he's dead. That's fine you do you I'm not gonna hate on you for disliking a character I like. My whole thing was I loved Adam as a character. But I don't like the things he did. Did I love his awesome design? Yes. His awesome fighting style? Yes. His mysterious backstory? You better believe it. The fact that he was an amazing villain? Yes. But did I like that he killed innocent people because of the actions of a few bad people? No way. The fact that he basically stalked Blake and hurt her teammates and told his men to kill her parents? No. See I liked his character not his actions. Now for those of you that are mad about the fact that character development he got last week got thrown away. Well think of it like this. Adam wasn't meant to change the way the schnee dust company treats people, that's Weiss's character arc. If anything I feel like this is only going to enhance Blake's arc in Atlas, which I believe will be repairing the way Faunus are seen in Atlas. She'll want to make sure no other Faunus are hurt the way Adam was.

So to end this I just want to say that I still love Adam as a character and will keep adding him into my story but that's just how I feel about his death in today's episode.
