Adam and the Beast: RWBY Theory

I really need to stop coming up with theories but that's unlikely to stop. Anyway this theory is adapted from Eruptionfang's "What's behind Adam's mask?" Theory on YouTube so if you want to hear this theory explained another way go watch that video. Now some of you may have seen the picture I drew about a week ago

This is it if you didn't see it. Anyway this has to do with my theory. Remember the book Blake was reading back in volume 1 "The Man With Two Souls"? Well what if that book didn't just tie to Ozpin but Adam as well, that's right my theory is that Adam has two souls. Ok so to explain my theory I'm gonna need to take references from two things "The Strange Case Of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde" (which is what the man with two souls is if you weren't aware.) and Adam's own character representation, the Beast from Beauty and the Beast.

First of let's talk about Jekyll and Hyde. If you werent aware Dr Jekyll became Hyde every time he took a drink of a special potion he made. However after a while whenever he had an evil thought he would turn into Hyde even if the potion hadn't touched his lips (since Hyde was a manifestation of his evil side). You get what I'm saying? There's a trigger.

Now let's talk about the beast. On his official Disney wikia page the writer of the movie himself said that the beast's curse was progressive. Meaning if Belle had never shown up then we would've become more and more animal like slowing losing his humanity until he completely became a mindless animal.

Note: for the rest of this theory I'll refer to Adam's good soul as Adam and his bad soul as the Beast.

Anyway let's say that Adam's trigger is anger. (Since we know he hates humans and whenever he sees them he often slaughters them.) that would mean at one time in his life something happened that it caused his personality to split. I'm assuming something that had to do with humans but of course I'm not sure. Anyway at first Adam had control over his anger which meant that his beast side (his spiteful somewhat psychotic side that we see now) hardly ever showed itself.

However then we get to the scene in the Adam character short where Ghira gets shot in the arm by those humans. As we know Adam got angry seeing this and began beating up the humans under Sienna's orders. And of course at first Adam was upset that Ghira got mad at him for killing the human. But then was surprised that so many people applauded him for what he did. I'm going to assume that this is what caused Adam to think that maybe the beast side of him shouldn't be hidden and he began to let it show more and more. However much like Dr Jekyll after a while he couldn't control when the changes would happen. I feel like the thing that made it almost impossible for him to switch back and forth was when Blake left. Once she did that angered Adam so much that it made it almost impossible to stay as himself and not the beast. Which is why he's becoming more and more dangerous and spiteful.

To finish my theory I feel like Adam is starting to realize that if continues to let the beast control him then soon he's going to lose himself entirely. So throughout this volume Adam is going to have to decide which side of him he wants to be before his dark side takes over entirely.
