"Let's check the antique store and Lover's lane," I offered.

They nodded and we began our journey to Lover's lane. When it opened a year ago, I was fascinated by the idea. I've always wanted to go there but I never had anyone to take me. I was hoping Joshua, being my boyfriend, would take me, but I never thought I'd be going there to look for Satan's evil coffee mug. I sighed. Oh well... at least I'm going there.

The journey to Lover's Lane was quiet. Everyone felt demotivated, mainly because we have less than three days to find the Chalice and get it to Lucifer. I really hope we can find the Chalice as soon as possible.

Lover's Lane's parking was quite crowded, even though it isn't Valentines day. The taxi man dropped us at the parking and we walked over to the ticket booths.

"Only couples are allowed," the man behind the glass droned.

I could feel the panic arise in the group. We didn't think they would ask for couples only.

I pointed at Joshua, "he is my boyfriend."

The man nodded and gave us two tickets. He looked at the rest and raised an eyebrow. Envy grabbed onto Sloth's arm, "that's my...umm..f-fiancé."

Greed and Gluttony were "boyfriends" and Lust held onto Pride's waist, claiming they were husbands. Wrath remained alone. We looked at each other, not knowing what to do.

"He's w-" I started.

"Babe! There you are!" a shrill voice yelled.

A woman, who wore a short (very short) red dress, walked over and put an arms around Wrath's neck. She hugged him, making sure to press the right parts against his chest. We needed to get in so I nodded at Wrath to keep up the charade.

"h-hey h-honey," he replied. I facepalmed.

The ticket booth man wasn't in the mood to argue so he just gave us the tickets. We walked inside Lover's Lane and my jaw dropped. It was everything I imagined it to be. Along one side were shops painted in all shades of red, the colours swarming around each other. Along the other side was a river and couples on small boats floated around, holding hands and talking. Benches shaped in hearts were every few feet and balloons in the shape of hearts were being handed out to people. Rose petals were scattered on the floor as soft piano music was played in the background. Every few minutes, bubbles swarmed the area and couples giggled, while the younger couples tried to pop them.

I turned around, taking in all the things around me. I saw Wrath being pressed against that woman. I gagged and turned around. I saw Lust glowing blue, a smirk playing at his lips. I punched his arm and he grinned at me. The glow died and the woman came back to her senses. She apologised and walked away.

"Thanks man" Wrath said.

"Anytime," Lust replied.

Lust used his powers to get someone to go with Wrath inside and I guess he enjoyed watching Wrath become helpless. They really acted like brothers. I smiled as we walked around. Lover's lane wasn't that big so if we split into four teams, we will be able to finish as soon as possible.

We began our search and I lost Joshua on the way. I knew now wasn't the time to find him, so I continued looking for the chalice. I checked each store for something that radiated evil energy. I fished for my phone and dialed Joshua's number.

"Hey?" He answered.

"Where are you?" I asked.

"Flower store," he replied.

"I'm coming," I told him.

Once I finished looking in the chocolate store, I met Joshua on the way. He held a white rose in his hand. He gave it to me and looked down. I giggled at that gesture and accepted the rose.

The sun began to set and we still had no luck in finding the chalice. Joshua and I searched our part of the place thoroughly and still we found nothing. After an hour or so, we met the rest of the sins, and they didn't bring any good news.

We left the place with our heads down, and we walked over to the taxi. We drove to More & More Antiques, which is a store near my place, where Joshua and I worked in during summer break.

We walked in and greeted the owner, Mr. Smith. We spilt up again trying to find the chalice. One thing stood out to me so I grabbed it. It looked so familiar to me so I showed it to Envy.

"Could this be it?" I asked.

He held it and said no because if it was the chalice then it would transform into its original form. The Sins touched a bunch of things, hoping it would turn into the Malum. Once again our search was fruitless.

We walked back to my place, Wrath, occasionally, kicked a trash can or threw a rock at a wall in anger. He shoved his hands in his pocket, grumbling. I felt really bad that we didn't find it or at least have some sort of clue as tp where it could be. Once we reached Joshua's house, I kissed him goodnight and made my way to my place with the sins. Joshua insisted on staying with me but I convinced him otherwise.

Once we entered, I told the sins that we should rest. They agreed and went to lay down. Sloth had already began snoring while the sins were talking to each other. I went to my room and lied down. I thought hard about the prophecy and my brain began to hurt. I groaned as I changed into something more comfortable.

I heard a light knock on my door and Lust popped his head into my room.
