Today was a very important day for a special, hardworking man named Kim Seokjin, who had been waiting for this special day to happen ever since he started working as a flight attendant.
And on this specific day, he was the traveler, not the stuartist. He was rummaging all around his room, packing up his suitcase, while his mother followed behind him.
"Son, remind me again: Who is this boy you were traveling to Morocco with?" Jin faced his mom, politely responding to her.
"His name is Namjoon, one of the passengers on flight 120, remember? He became my friend after I helped him open up that annoying tray that wouldn't budge." His mother squinted her eyes at the boy, clueless about who this other boy was.
"He sounds familiar... But I don't know. You make so many friends on a daily basis, that I've lost count!" Jin chuckled, zipping his bag while strapping it to his back.
"He's the tall, light haired photographer, m-" His mother suddenly gasped.
"Ohhh, THAT one!! Yeah, yeah. I remembered him now!" She nodded to her self, pacing around Jin's room. Her son was about to set off to a whole new world outside of Korea, and she was dreaded this day because it wasn't easy to let go of him after raising him for such a long time.
"Stay safe! Don't eat any nasty crap! A- AND MAKE SURE YOU TAKE YOUR COAT!" Jin furrowed his eyebrows at the middle-aged woman, hunching over as his bag started to weigh on him.
"Coat? Mom, why would I need a coat?" The boy started to laugh. His mother rolled her eyes at him.
"What do you mean "why"? You're traveling to Minnesota, right? Do you know how cold it can be over there? It's a winter wonderland, Seokjin!" Jin politely shook his head, waving his hands in the air at his mother, letting her know she was wrong, once more.
"Mom, I'm not traveling to Morocco or Minnesota."
"Then where on earth are you going!?" Jin giggled, readjusting his thin, red Hawaiian shirt.
"Malta, mom. I'm traveling to Malta today with Kim Namjoon."
