In the morning the girls ached all over. "To tired." grumbled Jalissa when Tammy tried to wake her. Tina had been awake at midnight also but wasn't tired. "Come on girls why so lazy?" she said. Tina had been so very angry when the girls hadn't been caught but she was trying other ways. "I'm going so get your lazy behinds out of your beds." With that she left. She headed straight towards the san. "Oh matron the girl's are unusually Tired today and not very hungry." Tina laid it on thickly. "Ah a midnight feast." Said Matron. Tina pretended to look shocked. "Oh but they d-d-didn't invite m-m-me." With that she began to cry. "Bring them to me, and do stop blubbering." Said Matron hotly. Tina stormed out. The girls filed into the san nervously. "A worried form mate tells me that you all are unusually tired and full." The girls look at each other scared. "A dose of this should help." said Matron. Tammy stepped forwards. "Oh no no Matron we had a feast thats all please no medicine." "I see." said Matron. "No going into town this weekend." Said Matron. All the girls groaned. "What about me?" said Tina. "Well i'm sorry dear but the punishment stands for the whole form." Said Mrs. Potts. Gaping with rage Tina spluttered. Jalissa pulled Lilac away. "The Tennis game is happening so very soon Lilac are you prepared?" Lilac felt nervous for she barely ever beat any of the other girls on the team. She had once beat Talia of the second and had felt ever so proud. She suspected that they were going easy on her though. "Don't be nervous you're jolly talented!" Remarked Jalissa. Smiling shyly Lilac slipped her arm through Jalissa's and they headed off for breakfast. Tilly nibbled on the edge of a piece of toast. "Uhg I'm too full." said Ambrosia pushing away her marmalade toast. Lilac also couldn't eat. "I'm too nervous!" She finally confessed. "If you hurry up with prep you could fit in some extra practice." Said Jalissa. After lessons and rushed prep Lilac changed into her Tennis uniform. At the court she saw Katie playing against Talia. It looked sublime. Talia was hitting back serves fast but Katie was jumping around throwing them back. After the match (Katie won) Lilac walked up to Katie. "That was a jolly wizard match Katie!" Said Lilac shyly. "Thanks Lilac, you're a brick!" Katie said smiling and ruffling Lilacs curly head. Lilac walked away over to a different court full with smiles. "How about a match?" asked Delila, a fifth former. Lilac nods eagerly. Delila's serves are fast and strong. Lilac hit them back best she can. "YOU CAN DO IT LILAC!" Yelled Katie "Jolly while played out there!" Called Rain. Lilac skipped away happily. She had lost but didn't mind at all. She was quite fond of the whole team especially Rain and Katie. Walking away she grinned sky wide. "Well you certainly look happy!" Called Jalissa. Lilac ran towards her. "Shrimps." Muttered Kelly of the south tower third form while laughing. Lilac and Jalissa headed back to their common room. "That common girl Leece has been snooping in our common room again!" Cried Tina. "Don't call her common." said Tilly stiffly. Tammy took charge. "I shall speak to her, perhaps she is just in need of money." "Well she should have asked." Snapped Tilly. Tilly was getting rather bad tempered. Her new friendship with Ambrosia helped but she was always yelling at the girls. Tammy turned red. "You don't know the whole story." Tammy said coldly. With that she left the room. Mary followed pink in the face. Tammy went searching for Leece. "Hallo there Kelly have you seen Leece?" "She's in the first form your tower." Remarked Tammy. "I'll go fetch her." replied Kelly warmly. Kelly walked into the first form south tower common room. "Hallo there Leece, Tammy wants to see you." Leece stood up. "I shan't stand for Tammy's bossiness and she has no reason to see me!" Tammy walked in. "Leece you have been found in our common room obviously hunting for money again!" said Tammy. Leece turned red. "Liar!" she said. All the south tower girls giggled. "Tammy's not a liar!" Cried Mary. A south tower girl named Acel stood up. "We from the south tower ask you girls to leave." Her friends started laughing. "We defend our south tower girls." She said snidely. They all stepped in front of Leece. "She's a common thief." Said Mary angrily. "Maybe so but stay out of our business." Sadi Acel. With that the girls started pushing Mary and Tammy out of the common room. "Sorry about that." Said Kelly looking annoyed. "They shouldn't behave like that in front of you, why you're a third former." Kelly sighed. "They've all taken a particular liking to Leece especially Acel and her friends." Tammy sneered. As they stalked off Tammy vented. "Acel this, Acel that, everyone thinks dear Acel is so perfect Just because she's on two teams or whatever!" "They all follow her lead and like Leece now even though she's a petty thief!" said Mary. The girls stalked off towards their common room.
