Once their carriage arrived at Malory towers, Daffy hopped out and grabbed Bobbie's arm to help her out. Much to Katie's shock, they started to walk off without her. Katie, feeling quite hurt, slowly got up. Then, she felt icy cold hands shove her out of the carriage. Looking back, Eva scowled and snapped, "Move it." Katie scowled back and walked off, leaving Dolly next to Eva, her pink lips pursed. The girls arrived at Matron's to see Ivy and a new girl already there. The new girl has a powdered nose, deep blue eyes and long golden wavy hair. Daffy, Dolly, Ivy, Katie and the new girl handed there health certificates to matron. "Gosh im sure I packed it" Bobbie said, a look of worry spreading across her face. 

Then to everyone's astonishment, Bobbie yelled in delight "Found it!" "Hush." Katie told her. Daffy gave Katie a odd look then turned to Bobbie and asked, "Where was it?" "It was in the lining of my hat of course." Bobbie replied. The new girl turned away from Bobbie in disgust. When the girls arrived at there dorm, Dolly asked in shock, "This is where were staying?" "Yes, and its a jolly nice place so mind you P's and Q's!" Ivy said to her. This Dolly really needs to be taken down a peg or two, Ivy thought as Dolly wrinkled her tiny nose in disapprovement. Daffy was a bit jealous of Ivy for stealing her thunder, giving cunning and sly remarks was supposed to be her job! Once they all unpacked, Eva walked over to Dolly and said, "I have to use the bathroom, save me a seat at supper." Dolly didn't really like sour old Eva but she needed someone to talk to about herself who would listen and admire her, and Eva just simply fit those standards. At the dining hall, the new girl sat next to Dolly where she'd planned for Eva to sit. Dolly was just about to ask her to get up, then she noticed how grand this girl seemed to be. 

"Hallo there, im Annabel." she said. "Hallo." Dolly said. This girl seemed to be up to Dolly's terms, Dolly thought happily. Of course Eva didn't see it that way. She burst into an icy rage when she saw Annabel occupying her seat. "Jolly well get up now, Dolly saved this seat for me!" Eva said in a temper. "Oh hallo there, well i'm simply so very sorry but you see I have claimed this spot and I have no intention of leaving it." Annabel said, perfectly reciting what Eva had said this morning. Blow Dolly, Eva thought, she must have told Annabel what she'd said. But Dolly didn't tell Annabel a thing, and had no clue who could have possibly told her. Eva turned red when Dolly didn't stand up for her and she huffed and sat elsewhere. Blow Dolly, Eva thought again, I will win her back tomorrow, Eva thought, she had to prove herself, she had to.
