Avinash had lost lot of blood and slipped into coma succumbing to his injury. It had been 5 days for him in hospital while two weeks for the kid and sanskar. Swara sat outside the ICU waiting for Avi to wake up. He was struggling but still alive but swara was restless as if someone was trying to pull out life from her body.

Shree came there running he was breathless drenched in his own sweat. He came and stood infront of swara as she felt someone near her, she lifted her head. She looked at him then everywhere other then him.

Shree: Stop ignoring me Mrs. Raje.

Swara : What do you want Shree?

Shree: How could you file murder case against bhai?

Swara : Check your words Mr. Inamdar, it's attempt to murder. Avi is still alive, and Mr Garewal will be in jail as he wakes up. Mr. SG, tried to settle his personal grievance with my husband and in rage tried to murder him.

Shree: Really, Shiny that's how much you know bhai?

Swara: It's Mrs. Swara Dharamadhikari Raje, Mr Inamdar..Do i know him? Nope, i don't remember knowing the famous rockstar personally? Are you making relationships because you are already scared of loosing the case (she was clearly mocking him)

Shree: Mrs. Raje, I think to kill or to attempt killing person must be able to hold the weapon. Bhai, after stab is weak can't even stand on his own.

Swara: (smiling): In our profession such stupid claims and lies are very common. I have confession of the doctor from government hospital whom your so called rockstar threatened. I think he didn't travel in ambulance on strecher till there. I would soon acquire the cctv footage of him exiting the hospital on his two legs. Oh, yes and also i have original video that was taken in the hospital while your so called rockstar was threatening the doctor.

I challenge you stop me from making him have death sentence. I never stepped in court but this time I will stand to provide justice to the person who has belief in me (snapping and pointing finger at him)wait and watch. She turned and was about to walk off.

Shree(smiling): No law gives death sentence in attempt to murder case.

Swara cringed at her own stupid statement.

Shree got a phone call which he listened very carefully and finally a curve appeared on his lips. Thank you so much uncle.

Shree: Mrs... Whatever .

Swara : (stern tone) Respect Mr Inamdar

Shree: Oops.. you feel disgrace with such small thing,what about the false allegations you are putting on an innocent man. Anyways I just want to tell you we got bail for bhai till he is able to stand in court. Yes, even court agreed for keeping baby in same hospital for better treatment. Oh yes one more news Neil and avni got her custody legally with permission for you to meet.

Final point Shanaya Rai is the investigating officer of this case. Finally, one request before coming to any conclusion talk to the person you are framing once.

Swara was very angry she was looking at Shree's retreating back. She marched out of the hospital in anger but a phone call halted her step.

Receptionist: Madam, you wanted to meet Dr Sahay, he is in his cabin.

Swara : Okay I will be there in Sometime.

She took a deep breath inhaling and then angrily exhaling. calming her nerves she marched towards doctors cabin.

On the way she felt an unknown pull towards a cabin. She walked towards the door and saw the little girl sleeping peacefully. She was lost in the baby she was so innocent her face looked so known. Swara was sure she didn't knew her or had any connection with her. She brushed off the thought thinking may be it was because avi was assaulted in this room.

She decided to walk ahead but swara suddenly had a sharp shooting pain in her head. She was sweating profusely some flashes unknowingly crossed her mind. She could see only blood everywhere.

Unable to withstand the scenario she tightly held the handle of the seat nearby. It was a secured floor, so the security around came near her seeing her condition he asked her to sit, giving her a glass of water.

A nurse came out of the ICU as she opened the door swara could see sanskar lying on the bed attached to innumerable wires.A rage overtook her she closed her eyes and opened it fuming in anger. She entered the cabin the security was trying to stop her but she didn't listen to anything.

Sanskar looked calm his eyes expressed varied emotions. He gestured security with shivering hands to stop and leave. They left closing the door behind them. He looked pale and in bad stature with that tube in his nose.

Sanskar: Welcome swara

Swara: Mrs Dharmadhikari Raje, Mr Garewal

Sanskar: Hmm... Quite a long name it's difficult to pronounce. Lets keep it Mrs DR or Mrs SDR...
Saying this he gave a stupid grin.

Swara felt a volcano of anger within herself which was about to erupt. She turned and decided to leave at once.

Sanskar: Don't you wish to interrogate me. It's a golden opportunity vakil sahiba. Girls die for a look from me, they die to hear my voice. Press die for my single byte and you are leaving without talking to me. The heart throb of million girls is infront of you and you are just going away.

Swara: I am swara Dharmadhikari Raje. Not like every other bitch in your life who wishes to sleep with you. You tried to kill my husband still you have the guts to look at me and talk. Offcourse it doesn't matter to people like you. How would an orphan like you understand the importance of name, relationship and family inheritance. People like you can just be selfish, egoistic, rapist, oppurtunist, murderers. Heart throb of million girls but I am out of those 1% who hate you and your so called rockstar fame.

She was spitting venom with her every word. Still sanskar didn't counter react. She was already on her heels to exit the room in anger due to pain she wished to avoid him but his last words halted her.

Sanskar: (silent painful tone): I may be a oppurtunist, may be selfish, egoistic but not a rapist. I may be reason of someone's broken heart but I am surely not a murderer.

She dangerously strided towards him picking a knife from the fruit basket nearby but she slipped and fell on him making him moan in pain as the tip of knife got inserted in his wound. Then balancing her body she stood up.

She was shocked observing blood on knife tip also on Sanskars hospital gown. Still that smile didn't leave his lip, how badly she wanted to crush his face.  She just sighed and said

Swara: This is just a small wound, stop lying or i will kill you at this instance.

Sanskar: (calmly raising an eyebrow) What if i prove it to you?

Swara: Prove it..you are very good at it and why not? Afterall you are a lawyer,a gold medalist...You can make scenarios as per your wish.

Sanskar: If i prove it then you will have to work with me to find the culprit behind this kids( he said pointing at the baby girl sleeping just in next room across the glass) and avi's this condition.

Swara: What rubbish? everyone know you tried to rape her and i know you tried to kill avi. You are the culprit and i will shove you behind the bars.

Sanskar: I am not practicing like you, but i think the amendment that you cannot hold responsible for a crime till it is proved is still being practiced in court. Also, you know more about me being innocent. You can conclude better then me, being experienced in this field. Forget about court and law a general fact would the kid feel safe with a rapist.

Swara: I am the witness to the scalpel in your hand. Which is the murder weapon?

Sanskar: Does that prove me killer?

Swara: I would prove it in the court.

Sanskar: I would prove myself innocent in avi's case outside the court by evening. If i do that you would help me collect evidence against people who tried to harm this kid. (He spoke determined). Also, you won't like the idea of putting an innocent like me behind the bars. It would be against the oath taken by you.

Swara: You are a liar i would never trust you Mr. Garewal.

Sanskar: At least for giving Justice and putting real culprit behind bars help me.

Swara: Done, if you can prove yourself innocent I will help you with this kids case.

Sanskar (smiling): By today end of the day you will get the proof.

Swara was feeling restless. A nurse came there to check the baby. Sanskar pressed the call bell and she came in Sanskars room. Her eyes widened seeing blood on sanskars shirt.

Nurse: Sir, you are bleeding... saying this she gently lifted his shirt and placed cotton on his wound. He hissed in pain.Nurse put a cotton swab nd small bandage on Sanskar's wound.

Sanskar opened his eyes and found swara staring at him crossing arms on her chest. He can see a varied emotions in her eyes different to the anger plastered on her face.

He signed swara to leave with attitude.

Sanskar: Nurse madam, can you please drop this madam( pointing at swara) to doctors cabin she keeps loosing way.

Swara stamped her foot and left the room with nurse. Nurse helped swara to doctors cabin.

Avni arrived there hearing chaos but she could only see swara's retreating back.

Doctors cabin
Dr: Madam, Avinash Raje's condition is currently stable but we don't know when he will be conscious.

Doctor said checking her BP

Dr: Your BP is low take care. I am prescribing some medicine take them.

Swara: Thanks doctor. I should be the first person to know about avi's conciousness. None would be allowed near him. I am ready to pay anything but he must be taken care properly.

Dr: You don't worry madam, we will take care of it.

Her driver got her home she rushed to her room in full speed. Abbasaheb got the information of her arrival so, he was walking towards her room to know about Avi.

Swara was looking at mirror shree and Sanskars words rang in her ears as insult she started throwing whatever she got in hand. She couldn't accept her defeat, she cannot accept that she can be wrong. Her heart and mind has accepted sanskar as criminal. In few minutes she had destroyed the complete room.

Abbasaheb heard the clinking and crashing sounds from inside worried he asked his most trustable to get the door opened. They banged repeatedly but swara was in no mood. Finally, Abbasaheb gave a look to break the door as it flung open Abbasaheb saw an angry swara she was a mess. Her eyes were red, hands bleeding complete room was turned into pieces.

Swara: After reaching Avi to this situation he is still free getting custody of that kid. He has guts to verify his innocence. He is trying to mislead me with stories. That bastard would never change bloody scoundrel.

In the meantime swara's mobile beeped she had received a video. It was a clip swara was shocked to see it. It was a chunk from security cctv footage of the incident that happened with avi. It was from an unknown number.

She showed it to abbasaheb

See and still this man is saying he is innocent. I would make sure he is hanged until death. Abbasaheb calmly held her hand and made her sit maid got first aid box and the dotting father figure began to clean her wound calmly speaking to her.

Abbasaheb: Don't get to any conclusion till you are sure. You need to hear both the ends, check genuinity,  analyse and then conclude. In the kids case I would suggest you to help Sanskar so you know in detail instead of giving a verdict making him criminal.

Swara: Abbasaheb, you are saying this still believing that man who can rape. He is a sex maniac bloody bastard. Of course why not afterall he is your favourite.

Abbasaheb: Swara, mind your words. We are lawyer's abided by law. You cannot punish criminal for same crime if he has not done it the second time. You always held the grudge against him think on a clear note about him. Bala (child in marathi), think as a lawyer and not as a layman. He might be my favourite but you are my life.

Saying this abbasaheb tied the bandage knot and left letting swara ponder in her own thoughts.

Her phone beeped again and this time it was video message from Sanskar. She sensed as there was a message from same number which had Sanskars name. This was same as first one but the facts were different. The angle of video was also different this was from a video recorder. While that accused Sanskar for avi's condition this showed something else. Swara saw both the video's carefully then she asked her tech team to verify the genuine footage.

Sanskar was sitting next to the little girl don't know why but he felt connected to her. She was vigorously shaking her head as if seeing a nightmare. She woke up in fear, scared she curled up when she saw Sanskar touching her. He had rescued her but she was seeing him in consciousness for the first time.

Sanskar called in for the doctor the kid refrained from his touch also. Therefore Avni walked ahead making her comfortable. She didn't allow avni also to touch her but slowly she was pacified by her cooing.

She made her understand the facts around in no time the kid turned and hugged Sanskar. It was sudden and unexpected for sanskar. Fear in her eyes tore sanskar apart.

Sanskar embraced her with love. Doctor approached her she again got scared but with Sanskar near they managed to check her.

Doctor: What is your name beta?

No reply

Sanskar: What is your name?

Still no reply after many futile attempts seeing her gloomy and getting more scared. She was trying to indicate something with her fingers. Her hands were shivering, eyes watered, but not a single word popped out of her mouth.

Sanskar: Can you speak?

Nodded the head in negative. A child speech therapist who knew sign language was summoned and arrived in no time.

As the doctor tried to understand and showed the same question she arrived to conclusion, kid is scared and unable to come out of the scenario. She is mute and can't speak. Being small and the scenario she went through she cannot comprehend anything from her life. She is unable to tell her name or address. She even doesn't properly remember her family members. She just remembers she has mummy who doesn't hug her now.

Kid signed Sanskar joining hand,"Please don't throw me out, those dirty uncle would harm me. It hurts when they hit .. she was sweating the speech therapist translated it for everyone to understand.

A pain ran through his body he immediately hugged the baby assuring her his presence till he gives her back to her parents. His anger on the people who harmed her shone in his eyes.

Sanskar: Hey little sunshine, till I am here no one can harm you.

Little girl withdraw from his arms and looked at him with her tiny eyes giving an innocent look and indicating sunshine... Being confused sanskar looked at the therapist for help.

Therapist: "She is asking who is sunshine?

Sanskar: As you don't know your name, for me you are my sunshine. For others you would be known as Eva...

The kid smiled a little and again held sanskar.

The doctor checked her and left the room confirming her condition was stable. Just she needed to be cared mentally.

RV: Sir, is everything good with the child.

Doctor: Don't worry, your bhai has saved her in nick of time. They couldn't harm her dignity she is safe. They surely disturbed her mental balance. She has immense trust on Mr Sanskar being with him would improve her health soon. Kid has developed phobias to what extent it would be known only after further psychological examinations.

While the kid was sunshine for Sanskar in his dark life. Sanskar was sunshine in the kids life. We should always remember sunshine gives way  to darkness.
