Chapter 15

"Get up, get up! It's time for breakfast!" My mother shouted, banging her fists on the door. I rolled over, groaning loudly.

That was until my face planted into a warm, bare surface. My boyfriend's chest.

"Oh, hello Draco. You are here too," I said sleepily.

He got instantly and started to get dressed, but I stayed put.

"Aren't you getting up?" He asked, kneeling next to me and kissing my cheek.

"Of course I am," I said, "But if you knew my mother, you'd know that she'll be an hour before it's actually ready."

"Oh," Draco replied, climbing on top of me. He moved as if he was going to flop back over to his side of the bed, but stayed hovering above me.

"What do you want, Draco?" I complained, half asleep.

All I could see was Draco's smirk before he planted his lips on mine.

We may have been a little late to breakfast.

Later

"So, I was thinking," my mother proposed at the dinner table. "You two should go do something."

"Like what, Mum?" I inquired.

"I don't know! Go to a park or something. It's the holiday! You kids should be excited!" My mother said passionately.

I looked at her blankly, "We don't enjoy those sort of pleasures in li-"

"Let's do it."

I turned to Draco, raising an eyebrow. "You want to go to a park?"

Draco's cheeks flushed, "I'm not exactly sure what would be there in this muggle place, but I'm interested."

"Our muggle neighbours used to go there all the time," I scoffed, "This interested Mum, of course. Even though it's a little boring, having to swing on a swing yourself."

Draco's face lit up, and we were outside in no time. Since it was a little breezy, my mother had lent Draco one of my father's coats.

It pained me a little to see someone else with a little part of my father, but I knew if there was someone I'd want to be wearing his clothes, it'd only be Draco.

Draco bit his nails as he looked down the steep hill, "Eve? Don't we die?"

"Of course we don't," I replied, "We have magic if we need to protect ourselves."

"We can't-"

"You can."

"Oh," Draco replied, a little shocked, "It's my birthday."

"Yes, it is," I smiled. "I told my mother to suggest something. That was all an act."

"You're a good actress," Draco told me, eyes not breaking contact with mine.

"In that case, I definitely didn't get you a present. I'm terribly sorry."

"Maybe not in that case," Draco smirked.

I pulled his present out of my pocket, presenting it to him with a smile.

As he opened it, I saw his jaw practically drop.

"This," he said excitedly, holding up the potions book, "...is ancient. Where did you get this?"

"I may have gotten a certain Potions master to slip it in my bag when we apparated," I gloated, "I knew you'd love it!"

"I've looked for this for ages," he told me, looking into my eyes. His hand trailed up to my cheeks and jaw, kissing me softly. "Thank you."

A/N: I know the school year ends at the end of June, but I'm a rebel so I'm changing that! Haha. Draco's birthday is June the 5th!
