Param opened the door to his house and found Purvi walking to and fro.

It was clearly visible that Purvi was worried.

Karan was sitting in a corner and he looked worried too

Param greeted them,"Hi!"

Purvi saw him and immediately started throwing questions at him,"Where were you? Why didn't you tell me you were going out? What's wrong with you?"

Param looked at the ground and said," I couldn't sleep so I went for a walk."

She sighed and said," Next time inform me."

He nodded his head.

Karan looked at him and noticed that he was working a long-sleeved tshirt .

Karan asked,"I thought you didn't like long sleeves."

He replied," I was feeling cold."

Purvi placed a hand on his forehead and checked his temperature, "I don't think you have a fever."

" Its nothing serious."

Saying this,he went to the dinner table and saw Shantanu arranging the table.

Shantanu said," I knew you were fine."

Param took a seat and said," You should have told them that then."

After this, all of the siblings ate their breakfast.

Then, Purvi left for office.

On her way, she saw Kavin.

Kavin was staring at the sky and admiring its beauty.

She went to him and said, "Are you returning home?"

He got a bit startled and rubbed his neck,"Um..yeah."

"Ohhhh....... your work hours are this long?"

"No. I always take a walk before going home. It's a habit."

"When do you eat breakfast then?"

"Umm....not breakfast it's dinner. I mean what's breakfast for you is dinner for you."

" Yeah right. I am not wasting your time,right?"

"Umm...no its fine."

"Let's sit on the bench and talk then. I still have time before I have to report to the office."

Kavin was a bit hesitant but finally agreed to sit.

Purvi said," You know,you have this habit of saying um.. and rubbing your neck."

Hearing this,Kavin said,"um..." and rubbed his neck absentmindedly.

She pointed at him," You are doing it again!!"

Kavin replied," Um..its a habit actually. "

She murmured,"Low self-esteem."

He looked at her,"What?"

She smiled and said,"Nothing. Umm.. a boy like you needs a girlfriend who is strong and expressive. Maybe like me."

Kavin was a bit surprised and looked at her.

She realised what she said and immediately started explaining, " I didn't mean it literally. I meant personality wise."

He replied," I understand. "

That's when, she notices the time on his watch," Crap!! I will be late . Have a good sleep."

Saying this,she ran for her office.

Kavin kept staring at her vanishing figure," What a strange girl!"

He smiled and went home.

Shantanu's first day at work was not totally uneventful.

He got assigned into Arjun's team aka the production team A.

Apart from Arjun and him , Katha is also part of the team.

Shantanu got scolded on the first day by his department chief. His hair was too long which made him look unprofessional. That's what , his chief said.

The chief demanded that he should cut his hair by the end of the day.

This means , he had to miss lunch today.

Sighing he started doing his work again

Katha who was sitting in the desk opposite to him noticed this.

She said," What happened?"

He touched his hair and said," This."

Katha is a reserve kind of girl. She felt sad for Shantanu so she decided to do something.

She picked up the scissors from the table and said," Do you want me to cut it?"

He asked," You can?"

She got up from her chair and went to it. She held some strands of his hair ,"Be ready."

He closed his eyes ready to accept whatever fate has in store.

Katha laughed seeing this," I was messing with you. "

Shantanu looked at her and said," Don't make fun of me!"

Katha replied," Sorry.. sorry.. go to the salon . I will cover for you."

He said," Really?"

She nodded her head.

Just then, he got a message from Sakshi.

"Can we eat lunch together today? At the moon restaurant? It's closer to your office."

His eyes lit up reading this.

Katha noticed this," Girlfriend?"

He blushed," No..no..not at all. Just a friend. Is it OK if I return after lunch?"

Katha gave a dramatic pause and said,"Yes . Go ahead."

Shantanu thanked her and rushed to the salon.

Param was looking for Anushka the whole day. But, she was absent. He was really worried about her.

He went to his locker and opened it. There he saw a letter.

It was from Anushka. It read," Don't worry. I haven't done anything to me yet. I am out of city. Will be back in one week. Then, you can show me why life is important. "

Param smiled seeing this.

Kajal was busy working the whole day. Finally, she became a bit free during lunch time.

She opened her phone and saw a message from Daya.
Apparently, Daya will not be in town for one week. He can't even message or call her.

Reading this,Kajal became really sad. She started wondering what happened to him.

Meanwhile,Daya was in an expensive car wearing expensive clothes.

The driver told him," Sir. You should have told her the truth."

Daya replied," Who?"

" That woman. "

" She will know everything in due time."

" You really like her."

" Was that a question or a statement?"

" Whatever you want to interpret it as."

" Just keep driving."

After that, none of the two said anything.

Shantanu reached the restaurant after getting a new haircut. He saw Sakshi sitting there.

They were in a cabin sort of section in the restaurant.

Sakshi said," Hi!"

Shantanu said," Hi!"

" Nice haircut."

" Thanks. Just got it done."

" What about work?"

" A sweet coworker said that she would cover for me."

" That's sweet. What's her name?"

" Katha."

They ordered their food .

Shantanu was playing with his finger.

Sakshi noticed this.

She decided to make him feel more comfortable, " Do you remember when we were young you brought me a Teddy with your pocket money?"

He said," Yeah. Because you were scared of sleeping alone"

" I still have that. I cant sleep without it."

" No way. Really? That's amazing."

" Do you want to say something? You have been playing with your fingers for a while."

Shantanu got startled," Actually.... Sakshi.. I have liked you for a long time.."

She said," I am your sister's friend. "

He replied," I know. I also know that you just broke up. I dont wanna force you. "

Sakshi looked here and there after she heard the work breakup. It was almost as if any one of her lies were caught. But, he didn't notice this and thought she was just nervous.

Just then, the waiter served the food.

Then , she looked at him," I need some time. Can we start with being close friends?"

Shantanu became somewhat happy hearing this and said yes. They ate their meal.

The food that Shantanu ordered was really tasty. He offered some to Sakshi.

Sakshi took a bite of it.

She said," Its amazing."

He said," Its my favourite. "

" Your choice is amazing."

He looked at Sakshi and said," I know."

Their eyes locked. They looked at each other for a while.

Sakshi fixed a strand of her hair behind her ear and kept eating.

After finishing, their lunch they went to their respective ways.
