The next morning was usual. All of them ate our breakfast and went to their respective works.

Shantanu was tasked with making sure that Sakshi reaches home safely.

Purvi,on the other hand,got ready for work.

Kajal interrupted her ," Whatever ..  gather in the meeting room I have an announcement. "

Everyone from each department gathered in the meeting room.

Kajal stood in the middle and clapped her hands ,"So folks , you know that it's almost the end of the year . We all start our preparation for Christmas soon."

Shreya said," Its nothing new."

Kajal got a bit irritated," I know but can you let me finish . So, as I was saying. After Christmas, this time we will have a month long festival."

Tarika asked ," A festival?"

Kajal replied," Yes, to celebrate our company's 10th anniversary. This was suggested by Purvi. And I sent the message to our president. "

Shreya said," No way. You messaged the president? Does he even reply to staff's messages?"

Kajal said," I always used to message him. Earlier most of the replies were something like- bear with it or manage yourself. Lately , the replies have become very kind and friendly ."

Tarika asked," Who will be leading the project?"

Kajal went beside Purvi and placed her hands on Purvi's shoulders, " As this was Purvi's idea, she will be the leader for this project. There will be one representative chosen by each department heads . Now, get to work everyone."

Everyone went back to their respective works.

On the other hand, Kavin was returning from his night shift

He always liked to take a walk before going home.

He reached his home and greeted his mother.

His mother was preparing her breakfast and his dinner.

Both son and mother sat down to eat.

Kavin's Mother, Sneha said," Have you thought about returning to India?"

Kavin replied," Mom, I told you before, I am not going there. I was born here and I have an attachment to this place. Even you never visited India yourself. "

Sneha replied," I know , son. But I think you need a change of atmosphere. This place has given you many scars."

Kavin finished eating and said," No means no mom. Thanks for the food. It was really amazing."

Saying this , he left for his room and went to sleep.

On the other hand, Shantanu was tasked with making sure that Sakshi reached home safely.

Both of them were walking in silence.

Shantanu was trying to say something.

Sakshi asked ," What's the matter? Do you want  to say something?"

Shantanu replied," Yeah. Your ex-boyfriend..."

Sakshi replied," Arjun. I sent him a message and told that I am not to pursue him anymore."

He added," I never really met him or even saw his face."

Sakshi becomes a bit flustered at this,"um.. I dont think you need to meet him. Thanks for saying that I need to stand up for myself."

They reached Sakshi's house.

Shantanu said," I have an interview today. So, I have to go. Take care."

Sakshi nodded her head.

Shantanu touched a leave when he was leaving and Sakshi looked at him lovingly.

Shantanu left for his interview.

The interview went well there was no problem . He was selected.

Along with him another girl was selected,it was Katha.

Katha said hello to him. They talked for a bit. Then their supervisor arrived .

He said ," Hi,guys!! I am Arjun. Sorry, I am late. I had to take my wife to the doctor."

Katha asked," Is she ill sir?"

Arjun smiled and replied," No. She is pregnant."

Shantanu and Katha both congratulated him.

Shantanu thought "Even Sakshi's ex-boyfriend's name is Arjun. But this Arjun can't be the same one. After all, he has a wife."

Then, Arjun showed them around.

At around 4 pm, Kavin's phone rang interrupting his sleep.

Kavin picked up the call . It was Daya

Daya: Listen, there's going to be a festival in the company. I have to vouch a representative.

Kavin : What do I have to do with that?

Daya : Well, I gave your name as the representative.

Hearing this, Kavin got up from his bed.

Daya : Because you have to be social. No ifs. There's a meeting at 6 pm. Be there on time.

Saying this , Daya cut the call.

Kavin was really reluctant to go but he decided to go there anyways.

He was a bit late. He reached the meeting room at 6.15 and found that everyone was already there.

Apologising to everyone he took a seat

Kajal started the meeting," I think everyone knows why we are here. Almost all of us know each other but still let's introduce ourselves. "

Everyone introduced themselves.

Then, Kajal stood up again," Purvi, from designs is the leader here. I will be the adviser. Neil, from sales will be the third in command. "

Everyone clapped their hands.

Purvi stood up next," Now, let's share our opinions everyone."

Everyone shared their opinion but Purvi didn't like anyone of them.

She noticed Kavin plating with his fingers and trying to say something.

She said," Kavin? You have something to share?"

Kavin stood up and rubbed his neck.

Purvi immediately understood that Kavin was really self conscious.

He said," We know that most people living in this part of the town are immigrants. Or their parents were immigrants. Many haven't visited their roots for a long time. So, what if we present the culture of different countries in a simple manner?"

Kajal nods her head," Please continue."

He continued," For example- we can make some limited time dresses with traditional touch. The sales section can be decorated traditionally. Obviously, us management will help with all tools and mechanical stuff. "

Saying this, he sat down.

After sometime,  Kajal asked Purvi if she liked any idea or if she had any idea .

Purvi showed Kajal her notepad and said," The only idea in my mind in this ."

Kajal saw that Purvi had marked Kavin's idea.

Kajal smiled," Let's do this then."

Kajal stood up and said," We are going with Kavin's plan. I will talk with the president about the budget and everything. After we put down Christmas decorations, we have to put new decorations and clothing that same night. Everyone I hope you will help . And lastly , claps for Kavin please for this amazing idea."

Everyone clapped and Kavin became a bit embrassed.

After the meeting, everyone was returning home but Kavin was going for his shift.

Purvi stopped Kavin," Thank you for your idea. "

Kavin blushed and rubbed his neck.

Purvi said," Don't be shy."

Kavin replied ," I am not.."

Purvi continued," No need to be embrassed. Hope you will help all of us. And please keep sharing ideas."

Saying this, she left.

Kavin thought," What a cheerful girl!!" And went back to work.
