Purvi took care of her siblings ever since their parents died.

She worked hard all day along in the fashion company but still found time for them

Purvi was patiently looking at the clock. It's 4:58. 2 minutes and then she would be free from this thing called work.

Even though , she loved her work sometimes it was a bit too much. Working in a design section was not that bad too. The company she worked in is different from other companies.

The design department was located in the top floors but their showroom and the sales department was in the ground floors. This office was really peculiar. Almost everyone knew who the President was but not once had anyone seen him face to face

And..... finally its 5 . She quickly packed her bag and started to leave.

Suddenly, someone called her from behind ,"Purvi!"

Purvi looked back and saw her friends

They were was none other than Kajal, Purvi and Tarika. Kajal was Purvi's senior and one of her best friends in work. Best senior to ever exist.

Shreya, the one who was not happy that she got married and has a child rather she was happy because now there are some people who wait for her everyday.

Tarika, the one who was engaged but till now no one has seen her fiance.

Together, these four were unbeatable.

Kajal flashed her true businesswoman smile ,"Did you forget we are supposed to eat out anything?"

Purvi absolutely did not... did not forget about this. No she actually forgot about this.

Purvi nod her head,"Of course , I remember. "

Tarika pointed at her and laughed, "Liar!!!"

Shreya joined her too.

Purvi denied ," I didn't forget at all. I absolutely remember. "

Shreya said ,"Oh guys !! I am so sorry I can't join. I promised my daughter I will cook her favourite dish tonight."

Kajal became sad,"That's so sad. But you should spend time with your daughter too . So go ahead."

Tarika said ,". BTW I can't join too. I have plans with my fiance and his family."

Purvi said ," Why haven't you introduced him to us yet? "

Kajal added,"Does he even exist?"

Tarika shot her a glare

Kajal accepted defeat ,"Sorry. Just joking."

Tarika smiled and left ,"OK. Bye."

Purvi said to Shreya," Have fun."

Shreya smiled and left ,"Don't mind if I do."

In this time , Purvi sent a message to the family chat.

"Can't have dinner today. Going out with friends."

Quickly all three boys gave a 👍

Purvi said to Tarika, "Did you do anything today, mischief makers!"

Kajal asked ,"What did you do this time?"

Shreya defended herself, "I know I did nothing. Ask this girl."

Tarika sighed ,"I broke the shelf."

Kajal screamed,"WHAT! I can't believe it! You mess up in this department and I have to sort it out."

Kajal worked in the accounts department. Basically, they manage all the expenses , budget and everything. Indirectly working as a mother department to other departments.

Purvi calmed Kajal,"Now! Let's not worry. We have to go for dinner too."

Kajal despite being reluctant agreed to go.

On their way out , Tarika bumped into someone

The guy said,"Sorry!" And continues walking.

That's when Shreya noticed an ID card on the ground.

She picked it up.

"Kavin Khanna,Maintenance department "

She realised that it belongs to the guy who bumped into her.

"Umm.. guys that person dropped something."

Tarika checked the ID,"He works in our company. I will go and give it to him."

But Kavin was nowhere to be seen.

That's when they heard someone talking on the phone ,"Its such a tough job to work in the maintenance department.."

Kajal stopped the person.

Seeing Kajal the person hanged phone ,"Can I help you?"

Purvi said ,"This guy dropped his ID . Can you give it to him?"

The person noticed the name,"Kavin? Gosh ! This boy forgets everything nowadays. Thanks. I will give it to him."

Tarika gave him the ID, "By the way, I am Tarika."

The person replied ,"Daya. I have to go or I will be late."

Then Daya leaves.

Shreya asked ,"Where does he need to go at night?"

Kajal saif," Night shift. The maintenance department have night shift."

Tarika  added,"Haven't heard of them before."

Purvi also said, "Me too."

Kajal replied,"They are the main men , you know. They mostly maintain delivery, maintain machines and all. It's a mixed department . You can find Engineers , technicians everything. These are the guys who couldn't get the job in this company but had potential. So, they were hired anyways."

Purvi nod her head. Kajal really knew everything as a veteran.

Soon, they entered the restaurant.

The waitress came to take their order.

Tarika saw the waitress and smiles ,"Avni! Hi! Night shift?"

Avni said ,"Yeah. "

All of them gave their orders.

Only Tarika said ,"The usual."

Avni nod her head and left.

Purvi asked,"Do you come here often?"

Tarika said ," Its close to my home. So,yes. And she is my friend too"

On the other hand ,the Malhotra brothers were having fun in home.

Shantanu was busy cooking. Param was studying and Karan was watching Anime.

Karan was adopted. When the Malhotra kids were small, their parents lived in Japan for 2 years . Thats when they met Karan's parents. His real name is Kotaro.
Sadly when he was 8 , his parents passed away. At that time ,Kotaro was in India. So, their parents adopted him. Now,he's 15.

Param said ,"Are you cooking Prawn?"

Shantanu replied,"You know it!!"

Karan said," We can only eat prawn when sis is not at home after all."

Shantanu said ,"What can we do , she has an allergy so.."

Param noticed its raining outside. So , he messaged Purvi. Purvi said she will return with Ayush.

He informed the other brothers.

Karan suddenly noticed someone outside the window.

Karan said ,"Big bros... there's a lady outside.."

Param asked ,"In the rain?"

Karan replied ," In the rain."

Shantanu said ," I will go check."

He opened the door and went near the gate.

He said , " Miss, do you...."

He was shocked to see none other than Sakshi.

"Sakshi!!"

Sakshi was drenched completely and was crying

"What are you doing in this rain? Come inside."

"I Was waiting for Purvi."

"Doesn't mean that you need to wait in the rain. Come on now."

Sakshi followed him.

Karan quickly messaged Purvi.

"Come home quick. I think you need to kill someone today."

Param sent Purvi a message.
"Are you in a mood to muder someone today?"

Shantanu sent her a text
"Your bestie is here . She's crying badly. I think it's her bf."

Purvi saw the texts.
She quickly finished her meal and dragged Shreya with her.

Tarika told Kajal,"Why do I feel...."

Kajal completed his sentence " she is going to kill someone today. "
