彡 CHAPTER SIX
❛ it's been agatha all along ❜
( episode seven, season one )

Wanda groaned as she woke up before her memories from last night came back to her and she covered her face with her blanket.

Footsteps were heard as Billy and Tommy entered her bedroom. "Mom, are you coming down soon?" Tommy asked with a frown.

"Mom, our game is freaking out." Billy complained. After a couple seconds of complete silence, Billy looked towards his brother. "Is she asleep?"

Wanda's voice came out muffled from under the blanket. "Mommy's not sleeping, honey. She's just resting her eyes."

"Mom, my head feels weird." Billy complained again. "It's like, really noisy. I don't like it."

Wanda took the blanket off of her head but didn't open her eyes. "Resting her eyes."

Billy and Tommy looked at eachother concerned before they left their mother's room.

"As punishment for my reckless evening," Wanda started as she looked at the camera. "I plan on taking a quarantine-style staycation." she nodded her head as she zoned out. "A whole day... just to myself." she looked at the camera determined. "That'll show me."

Wanda sighed heavily as she took of her blanket and looked down only to see her Halloween costume still on.

With slow steps, she got out of bed and changed in some more comfortable clothes before going downstairs, where Billy and Tommy were arguing.

She didn't spare them a glance as she headed towards the kitchen. Once she got there, Wanda opened the fridge and took out the bottle of almond milk and put it on the counter.

She took out some cereal and a bowl before turning back to her milk, only to see it glitch. Wanda frowned but took the milk anyway and poured it in her bowl filled with cereal. Once she put the milk back down on the counter, it glitched again. Wanda frowned as she took her bowl and sniffed it before taking a huge spoon.

"Yeah, I'm not sure what that's about." Wanda frowned at the camera. "It's probably just a case of the Mondays." she chuckled. "Am I right?" she raised an eyebrow as the camera zoomed in on her face.

"Have you seen your dad?" Wanda asked the boys as she entered the living room, her bowl filled with cereal still in her hands.

"Um, no." Tommy said as he continued playing video games.

Billy looked at his mom. "Do you wanna go look for him?"

"Well, if he doesn't want to be here, there's nothing I can do about it." Wanda explained as she ate cereal. Wanda took the remote and changed the chanel.

"Hey, mom," Billy started. "Last night, Uncle P said that thing about re-killing dad?"

"Don't believe anything that man said." Wanda told them as she turned to her sons. "That man is not your uncle, your only uncle is Reggie."

"Who is he then?" Tommy asked.

Wanda chuckled dryly. "Here's the thing, boys." Wanda put her bowl and remote down. "I'm your mom. And as such, you were counting on me to have all the answers, right?" when the boys nodded, Wanda continued. "Well, I don't. I have... no answers." she chuckles.

"Zip. Zero. Zilch. Nada. Niente."

Wanda laughed. "I'm starting to believe that everything is... meaningless. You're welcome to draw your own conclusions, but that's where I'm at." she chuckles.

"Okay, so maybe I went a little to dark there," Wanda explained to the camera. "but they'll be fine. Vision is made of vibranium. They literally inherited tough skin." she chuckled.

Wanda settled on the couch between Billy and Tommy as she took the remote and changed the channels. Someone knocked on the door and Wanda used her powers to open it. "Hi, Agnes. Come on in."

Agnes entered their house with a cheerful smile.

"I'd get up, but I just don't want to." Wanda laughed.

Agnes' smile fell a little as she looked at the camera in concern.

"I think I got there in the nick of time," Agnes explained to the camera. "cause she was one split end away from cutting her own bangs."

"Hey, boys, why don't we give your mom some me time?" Agnes asked as she looked at the twins.

"Agnes, are you sure?" Wanda looked at her.

Agnes smiled. "Oh, abso-positively. Come one, let's go guys."

"Do we have to, mom?" Tommy whined as Wanda nodded her head. "Someone needs to be here to take care of you."

"Boys, I'll be fine. Just go with Agnes." Wanda urged them.

"I promise I won't bite." Agnes chuckled as she looked at the twin boys.

"I actually did bite a kid once." Agnes informed the camera.

Before Agnes could leave with the boys, Wanda pulled her closer so she could whisper to her. "How's Ellie?"

Agnes smiled. "She's great! A little sad but great! It'll be a nice suprise for the boys to see her."

Wanda smiled in relief. "Agnes you are a life-saver. Is there anything I can do for you?"

Agnes raised her eyebrows. "You know what? I do have a suspicious mole on my back that I just can't see." At Wanda's uncomfortable face, Agnes pulled back with a laugh. "Ah. Boundaries. I get it. Say no more." she laughed as she ushered the twins out. "Alright gentlemen, let's keep it moving. You know what? If one of you could take a quick look..."

Agnes' voice trailed off as Wanda smiled and got comfortable on the couch. Rustling was heard and she looked towards it, only to see a plant glitching in their house. Several other things started glitching and changing. Wanda put her bowl down as she used her powers to change everything back

"I'm fine." Wanda laughed as she assured the camera. "I'm fine. I'm fine. I'm fine. I'm fine." the camera zoomed in on her face as she mouthed. "I'm fine."

Wanda headed towards the kitchen again, only for everthing to glitch. Thing's started floating and everything was changing. She looked around in concern as it never stopped.

"I don't understand what's happening." Wanda explained to the camera. "Why it's... why it's all falling apart and why... I can't fix it."

"Do you think maybe this is what you deserve?" the interviewer behind the camera asked.

Wanda looked at him perplexed. "What? You're not supposed to talk."

The door opened as Reggie walked in and took sight of Wanda and everything glitching around. "So that's happening here too?"

"Reggie," Wanda groaned. "what do you want?"

"Thought you were on your period with all the glitchy stuff." Reggie explained awkwardly. "So I brought you some chocolate."

Wanda's eyes light up as she ran and snatched the chocolate from Reggie. "Yes!"

"Where are my nephews?" Reggie asked as Wanda sat on the couch and began eating chocolate.

"Oh," Wanda waved him off. "They're with Agnes and Ellie."

Reggie perked up. "Don't you want to see Ellie?"

Wanda ate some more chocolate as Reggie sat down next to her. "She hates me." Wanda laughed. "So I'm gonna leave her alone. Until the end of time. Alone. Home alone. With Agnes."

Reggie looked at her weirdly. "Are you sure there's nothing wrong with you?"

Wanda started laughing as she looked at her brother. "I don't know."

"Take it easy with the pills, M." Reggie said in concern as he watched his sister.

Wanda waved him off as she swallowed the pills with water.

The door to their house suddenly opened as Geraldine - in a really weird suit - entered the house. "Wanda? Wanda!"

"What are you doing?" Wanda demanded as she walked towards her, Reggie just behind his sister. "How did you get in here?"

"Listen to me. This whole thing is about Vision." Geraldine tried to explain.

"Get out of my house." Wanda yelled as she pointed a finger at her. Reggie decided to not get in between the two women unless necessary.

"Hayward was trying to bring him back..."

"Don't talk to me about that." Wanda said, venom lacing her tone as she used her powers to float Geraldine outside. "I don't wanna hear about it. The drones. The missiles. Pietro?"

"Wanda!" Reggie yelled after his sister as she suspended Geraldine in the air with her powers.

"All you do is lie!" Wanda shouted. She brought her fist down, making Geraldine fall to the ground. Geraldine used powers Reggie didn't know she had to make the fall easier.

Wanda gasped softly when she saw Geraldine's electric blue eyes turn back to normal.

"The only lies I've told are the ones you put in my mouth." Geraldine said as she walked closer to the Maximoff siblings. Despite Wanda being more powerful, Reggie took a step in front of his sister protectively.

"Careful what you say to me." Wanda threatened as she created red mist in her hands. She stepped from behind Reggie.

"Do it then." Geraldine taunted. "Take me out." When Wanda didn't do anything, Geraldine stepped closer. "See, see? That's where you and Hayward differ. He's gonna burn Westview to the ground just to get what he wants. Don't let him make you the villain."

"Maybe I already am." Wanda said slowly as Reggie put a hand on his sister's shoulder to show that he was on her side. He would always be on her side.

"I'm not afraid of you, Wanda." Geraldine explained gently as she stepped closer. " I lost the person closest to me, too. The worst thing I can think of has already happened to me and I can't change it. I can't undo it. I can't control this pain anymore. And I don't think I want to because it's my truth."

Wanda lowered her guard before Agnes' voice broke her thoughts. "Young lady, I think you overstayed your welcome." Agnes said towards Geraldine. "Poor Wanda's been through enough. Run along dear."

Agnes pulled Wanda with her and Reggie looked back at Geraldine with furrowed eyebrows before he decided to follow his sister. He wasn't going to leave her alone, not now.

"Wanda you have to take it down!"

"No." Wanda pointed a finger at Geraldine. "Don't make me hurt you."

Agnes took Wanda and Reggie in her house. She was still comforting Wanda, who looked really uncomfortable and Reggie was following his sister like a lost puppy.

"Would you guys like a cup of tea?" Agnes asked as she set the Maximoff siblings on the couch. Wanda nodded her head and Agnes smiled. "Be right back with that."

Wanda and Reggie looked around and they noticed the eaten sandwiches and the cartoons playing. "Where are the twins?" Wanda asked.

"And where's Ellie?" Reggie added, his body already going still.

"Oh, Ellie took them to play in the basement, said she had to show them a game."

Wanda and Reggie stood up and headed towards the door that lead to the basement. Wanda opened it and together the two walked down the stairs. "Boys? Ellie?"

Once they were down, they realized that nobody was there. No Ellie, and no twins.

The siblings looked around and caught sight of an entryway, filled with vines and no single light source. Curiously, they entered it as Wanda called in a concerned voice. "Ellie? Tommy? Billy?"

When they got to the end of the small tunnel, they entered a sort of cave-like room, the light source being the glass roof. There were several collums, each with vines on them.

Just as they looked at a peculiar book that was encased in some orange mist, a metal thud was heard and Agnes entered the room while petting her bunny.

"Wanda and Reggie. You didn't think you were the only magical people in town, did you? Well, there's also Ellie." Agnes nodded her head towards something.

Wanda and Reggie looked alarmed at a passed out Ellie that was encased in a purple mist bubble, some blood trickling down her forehead.

"What the hell did you do to her!" Reggie yelled, concerned. He should have never let her come here.

Agnes tutted. "Manners, Reggie. The name's Agatha Harkness. Lovely to finally meet you, dears."

And with that, Agatha used her powers causing Reggie and Wanda's eyes to turn a shade of purple.

this chapter was kinda hard to write with all the interviews and stuff but anyway agatha supremacy like that song is actually so good like i love it.

ALSO next chapter we are finding out how the hell Ellie got her powers!
