It was a strange feeling, not knowing where you came from or not knowing what the past eighteen years of your life were. Not knowing where you lived, what you liked, how many friends you had. And frankly, Elora thought she had been eighteen for a couple of years now.

She definitely didn't look just eighteen, she looked older, around the age of twenty. And yet, she still lived in an orphanage she had no memory of until Wanda and Vision adopted her. They had their wedding after they adopted her and Elora could only imagine how beautiful it was. She never actually questioned her memories, she never questioned her powers and never questioned her reality.

So why should she start now?

Elora smiled slightly as she watched Wanda use her powers to put all the plates and used cups away. Wanda caught her eye and sent her a playful smile.

Vision suddenly entered the kitchen, a newspaper in his hand. He walked forward without noticing the floating plates and walked straight into one. It broke into multiple tiny pieces and Wanda jumped, causing one another plate to fly towards Elora.

She quickly brought up her hand and created and invisible shield in front of her, the plate crashing right into it. It broke, just like the first plate and fell to the floor.

"My wife and her flying saucers." Vision sighed as he looked up from his newspaper and towards Wanda. He then looked towards Elora who stood on her chair with an innocent smile. "And our daughter with her invisible shields."

"My husband and his indestructible head." Wanda chuckled as she looked at Vision, her eyes then moving toward Elora. "And my Ellie and her unusual powers."

Vision shook his head amused as he went and kissed Wanda on her forehead, then doing the same to Elora. "Aren't we a great family."

Wanda chuckled as Elora rolled her eyes in amusment. "We definitely are, Vis." Even if they adopted Ellie and considered her their daughter, Elora couldn't quite call them 'mom' and 'dad' yet. It gave her an unusual feeling, like something wasn't right with calling them that.

In only a matter of seconds, Wanda put the two broken plates back together and then looked at the other two in the room. "What do you say to silver dollar pancakes, crispy hash browns, bacon, eggs, freshly squeezed orange juice and black coffee?" she asked as she walked towards the frigde.

"Yes." Ellie said immediately as Vision smiled at her, amused.

"I say, 'Oh, I don't eat food!'" Vision responed with a sarcastic smile as he kept looking at the newspaper.

"Well, that explains the empty refrigerator." Wanda put her hands on her hips with an amused grin as she looked at the empty refrigerator.

"But I do!" Ellie pouted as she looked between the pair.

Wanda chuckled as she used her magic to conjure up a plate filled with pancakesc, bacon and eggs with some orange juice on the side. Ellie barely said thank you before diving right in, but still being careful not to dirty her dress.

"Wanda..." Vision started as he walked toward the wall with the calendar on it. "Is there something special about today?" he asked as he started puzzled at the calendar.

"Well, I know the apron is a bit much dear, but I am doing my best to blend in." Wanda reasoned as she looked at her apron. Ellie snorted in her orange juice, causing some to land on the table. With a shake of her head, Wanda waved her hand causing the juice to disappear while Ellie sent her a grateful smile.

"No, no, there on the calendar." Vision pointed out. "Someone's drawn a little heart right above today's date."

"Oh yes, the heart..." Wanda stutterd as Vision hummed in agreement. Ellie watched them in amusment as she continued sipping on her orange juice. "Well don't tell me you have forgotten, Vis." Wanda turned to him with her hands on her hips and a raised eyebrow.

"Forgotten? Oh, Wanda, I'm incapable of forgetfulness. I remember everything. That's not an exaggeration. In fact, I'm incapable of exaggeration." Vision rambled.

Wanda raised both her eyebrows this time. "Well, then tell me what's so important about today's date."

Vision squinted his eyes in concentration before looking at his wife again. "What was the question again?" he asked as Wanda simply looked at him. He proceeded to wave hus hand before turning around. "Oh, well, perhaps you've forgotten yourself."

"Me?" Wanda's eyes widened. "Heavens, no. I've been so looking forward to it."

"As have I!" Vision crossed his arms as he leans on the counter, looking at Ellie's choice of food questionably. "Today we are celebrating..."

"You bet we are." Wanda grinned. "It's the first time we..."

Vision hummed as the two of them leaned on the counter, their faces getting closer.

"...have ever celebrated this occasion before."

"It's a special day!"

Ellie shakes her head. "Yes, very special." she muttered as she watched the married couple getting closer to eachother. She pretended to gag but neither of them looked at her in that moment.

"Perhaps an evening-"

"Of great significance..."

"To us both!"

"Naturally." Vision added.

"Obviously."

"Exactly."

The couple smiled at eachother before leaning forward on the counters even more and sharing a kiss. They only pulled away when Ellie complained. "We are in the kitchen!"

Wanda pulled away from her husband and shot Ellie a playful glare. "Oh, hush."

Vision chuckled before pulling back and straightening his suit. "All right. Well, that's me off to work, then."

"Oh," Wanda suddenly exclaimed as she walked past Ellie and looked closely at Vision, motioning to his face. "don't forget!"

Vision chuckled loudly as he looked in the mirror on the wall before quickly making his face look human. He sent a kiss towards Wanda and Ellie, and while Wanda pretended to catch it, Ellie jokingly caught it and threw it in the trash can.

Vision placed a hand on his chest in mock hurt before shaking his head. "Have a good day ladies!" he said before opening the back door and leaving the kitchen in a hurry.

It's quiet a little after Vision leaves before Wanda looked at Ellie. "Do you have a date, Els?"

Ellie snorted a little as she out her plate away. "No, I don't know anyone in this town." she responded and at the troubled look Wanda sent her, she tried to look for a better answer. "Maybe it's an anniversary." she tried.

Wanda bit her nail as she went to look at the calendar again, a puzzled look on her face. Suddenly, a knock at the door was heard as the two girls perked up at the sound.

Wanda quickly walked towards the front door, Ellie not far behind. Wanda opened the door only for a woman with black hair and a big vase filled with flowers to walk in.

"Hello dear, I'm Agnes, your neighbor to the right." Agnes said right away, giving Wanda the flowers and still not noticing Ellie. "My right, not yours." she chuckled. "Forgive me for not stopping by sooner to welcome you to the block. My mother-in-law was in town, so I wasn't."

She laughed and then finally noticed Ellie behind Wanda. "Oh, you have a daughter, how beautiful!" she exclaimed as she walked forward, looking Ellie from head to tow. "Ugh, you're gorgeous darling, what's your name?"

"Elora, but call me Ellie." Ellie rushed out, seeing as how the woman was talking really fast.

"Perfect." Agnes smiled brightly before turning back to Wanda. "So, what's your name? Where are you from? And most importantly, how's your bridge game, hun?" Agnes chuckled as she walked around the house, looking over it.

"I'm Wanda." Wanda introduced herself as she walked after Agnes before looking at Ellie. "Of course, you already know Els."

"Wanda." Agnes started with a satisfied smiled, making Ellie shift on her feet uneasily. "Charmed."

The two women shook hands as Ellie awkwardly sat down on the couch.

"Golly, you settled in fast!" Agnes exclaimed, looking at their house. "Did you use a moving company?"

Wanda laughed nervously as she put the vase with flowers on a table. "I sure did! These boxes don't move themselves."

Agnes chuckled again. "So what's a single mother like you doing around this big house?"

"Oh no, I'm not single." Wanda shook her head.

"Oh, I don't see a ring." Agnes pointed out.

"Well," Wanda started as she glanced at Ellie who was daydreaming on the couch. "I assure you I'm married. To a man. A human one and tall. As a matter of fact, he'll be home later tonight for a special occasion. Just the two of use. Oh, and Ellie! But of course she'll be in her room." Wanda paused. "Upstairs. Alone."

"Oh is it somebody's birthday?" Agnes asked with interest, causing Ellie to scoot further away from her.

"Not a birthday." Wanda pointed at her.

Agnes raised an eyebrow. "Well, today isn't a holiday, is it?"

"We're celebrating the most boring day ever." Ellie muttered to herself as she sighed.

Wanda sent her a pointed look before looking at Agnes again. "No, it's not a holiday."

"An anniversary then?"

"Ye-Yes! Yes, it's our anniversary!"

Ellie looked at Wanda with her eyebrows raised as she hissed under her breath. "That's what I said."

"Oh how marvelous!" Agnes exclaimed as Wanda sat to Ellie's left while Agnes was still to her right. The two women were practically squishing her alive. "How many years?"

Both Wanda and Ellie's faces turned into confused expressions as they looked at Agnes. "Well, it feels like we've always been together." Wanda started. "And we got Ellie right before we got married."

"You got her?" Agnes asked confused, peering at Ellie.

"I'm adopted." Ellie rolled her eyes but stopped when Wanda nudged her.

"Oh," Agnes frowned but then her expression brightened. "Well, you lucky gals! The only way Ralph would remember our anniversary is if there was a beer named June 2nd."

Ellie actually chuckled, finding Agnes' jokes pretty funny while Wanda chuckled uncomfortably.

"So what do you have planned?" Agnes leaned forward towards Wanda, making Ellie sink into the couch awkwardly.

"How do you mean?" Wanda asked confused, glancing at Ellie for guidance only for the girl to smile sarcastically at her and turn her head away.

"For your special night! A young thing like you doesn't have much to do, but it's still fun to set the scene!" Agnes said encouragingly.

"I'm still here!" Ellie exclaimed from between the two woman.

"Oh hush, you're old enough to hear about these things." Agnes shushed her while Ellie's eyes widened. "Say, I was just reading a crackerjack magazine article called 'How to treat your Husband To Keep Your husband' and let me tell you what Ralph could really use is 'How to Goose your Wife So you Don't Lose Your Wife'" Agnes chuckled as she stood up and walked towards the door. "Hang on. I'll go grab it and we can start planning. Oh this is gonna be a gas!"

Two hours. They've been reading magazines for two hours and Ellie could definitely say that she wanted to jump out of the window. So when the phone rang, she immediately perked up and looked at it.

"Oh!" Wanda exclaimed as she got up and picked up the phone. "Vision residence!"

"Vision sweetheart!" Wanda grinned into the phone as Ellie and Agnes watched. "Don't worry dear, I have everything under control." Wanda sent a wink to Agnes. "Nervous? Whatever for?" Wanda asked confused into the phone and after a few moments she started to smile.

"Vis, after all this time..." her expression turned troubled in a matter of seconds. "Well, it's just one night. There's no need to get dramatic."

There was some more silence before Wanda put her hands on her hips. "And I think the best course of action is to impress the husband." she sent a thumbs up to the two girls and while Agnes sent on back, Ellie sent a thumbs down. "Until tonight." Wanda grinned as she set the phone down.

"Now dear, I want you to stay in your room all night. Don't even come out if there's some yelling or anything of sorts, only come out if... someone is dying!"

It was safe to say that after Wanda's speech and after seeing what she was wearing, Ellie didn't hesitate in running upstairs to her room.

Her room was pretty big, with a large and comfortable bed, a dresser, a mirror and several other things that you could find in any room.

There was a lot of noise downstairs but Ellie didn't dare go down until she heard Wanda's voice suprisingly over the rest of the noise. "Vision, help him."

Ellie was pretty sure that whatever she thought was going on wasn't actually going on. With quick steps she got downstairs only to see two unfamiliar people in their house, one of them being on the floor with Vision's hand going through him and getting a piece of food out of his throat while his wife kept repeating 'stop it'.

Ellie stopped immediately and Wanda, almost knowing that she was there, glanced at Ellie worriedly. The man on the ground suddenly started coughing as Vision helped him up. "Let me help you up." Vision grunted. "Give me your hand."

The man's wife continued eating with a smile on her face as Wanda got out of her seat and went next to Vision, Ellie following behind her.

"Alright, steady on sir."

"Well, would you look at the time!" the man chuckled as he looked at his watch.

"Yes, we'd better be going." his wife chuckled and got up, also getting a look at Ellie. "Oh, this must be the daughter you told us about. She's beautiful!"

"Indeed." the husband agreed as he walked around the table and to his wife.

"Well, are you both all right?" Wanda asked worryingly as she pulled Ellie safely next to her.

"We had such a lovely time!" the woman smiled as she went behind Wanda and put her hands on her eyes. "This guest is leaving your home."

The others laughed while Ellie looked at Wanda and Vision confused out of her mind. What was going on?

"Thank you for coming!" Wanda shook the woman's hand as she lead her to the door together with Wanda.

The man stopped to talk with Vision a little and from what Ellie could guess, it was about something good considering the fact that Vision was grinning like an idiot.

Wanda and Ellie opened the door and watched as the couple left, only for the wife to stop as she looked at the lobster on their door. Ellie was just as confused as her but didn't complain as she watched the woman laugh and leave.

The door was finally closed by Wanda and Ellie as the both leaned on it. "What the fuck was that?" Ellie asked confused.

"Language!" Wanda gasped.

Vision turned his head back to normal as the three proceeded to walk and sit down on the couch, Ellie between the two of them.

"We are an unusual family, ya know?" Wanda asked as they settled down.

"Oh, I don't think that was ever in question." Vision mused.

"What I mean is, we don't have an anniversary. And we don't know when we adopted Ellie! And we don't have wedding rings, or adoption papers!"

"Well we could remedy that." Vision smiled as he looked at the two girls. "Today could be our anniversary. And today we could celebrate Ellie's adoption."

"And the ring? And the papers?" Wanda asked with a confused expression.

Ellie raised a brow. "Well couldn't you make them?"

Wanda smiled as her and Vision set their hands forward, wedding rings appearing on them almost immediately. And then Ellie held her hand out and almost a second later, adoption papers appeared in her hand with the name 'ELORA STARK' and 'ADOPTED' written in bold.

The name Stark made her furrow her eyebrows but before she could think about it more, Wanda put a hand around her shoulder. "Everything's perfect."

Wanda and Vision leaned their heads on Ellie as the family hugged and smiled in content.

"But seriously, what happened at that dinner?"

hello and welcome to the first chapter of my wandavision fic. i think im gonna do one episode per chapter so thats why they might take a while longer to write. ALSO if you think wandavision has a lot of plot twists then you're not gonna be ready for this book because i have even more plot twists. ugh i can't wait. also, we're meeting reggie next chapter and i love him sm can't wait for you guys to properly meet him too. hope you like the chapter!
