Due to my incapability of completing stories these days, I've decided not to begin publishing this one until I finish writing the entire draft. And guess what - I have! It only took me a couple of weeks to write because the moment I got the idea of this story I was literally obsessed with writing it. And I haven't felt this way about writing since Poison Ivy.

And apologies if this is an overdone trope in Draco fanfiction, but it was one I found myself suddenly desperate to write once I got the idea. And now I would like to share it with you.

I'm not really clued up on surrogacy/adoption arrangements, although I'm pretty sure what the Malfoys do in this story is completely illegal here in the UK (this doesn't go unmentioned by the characters). Apologies if I have made any glaring mistakes with terms, etc. I was rather lazy with Googling and just went with the flow when writing.

Face claims

I've decided against a face claim for Harper Snow. All you need to know is she has raven hair and is stunningly beautiful (of course). The rest can be left up to your imagination (or just use the art on the book cover if you would rather).

Draco Malfoy - as usual - is our lovely Tom Felton (but again, picture him as you will)

Astoria - well, I always have Adelaide Kane in my mind when I picture her character instead of Tom's ex-girlfriend. Nothing to do with jealousy. Ahem.

Harper's father, Coriolanus Snow, is a Hunger Games shout out. The late Donald Sutherland version.

For everyone else: the usual suspects.

Trigger warnings

It's quite sexually explicit in places, especially in the first half. And there is a lot of casual swearing throughout.

It also contains a surrogacy theme which some readers may find distressing if they've ever experienced having to give up a child before. If you need me to be more specific about the content, then please do ask in the comments.
