As soon as I collided with the hard surface, I immediately cursed under my breathe for being stopped on my way. I looked up being ready to face another problem but to my utter shock ,there he was standing, the devil himself. Not devil, he was my handsome devil.

"Fuck off, how can I be so stupid to think such things in the situation where I am in trouble from both of the sides ?I am fully sure that these boys are going to face their death right now but what will be with me ? Oh my God, what's he gonna do ? Let's flow it with the times and for now I should think about the current situation." I mentally thought shaking my head at myself.

When I looked at Sumedh ,his eyes widened in surprise first but soon it changed as a scowl appeared on his face and he threw daggers at me through his eyes. I lowered my lashes and became afraid infront of him to speak anything.

"What's going to happen now ? What will he do with me ? I hope that he is not going to kill me in this unfamiliar place at midnight." Many thoughts started surrounding one by one as he continuously was glaring in my direction. Somehow my thoughts didn't end yet but I heared those men telling something. I absolutely forgot about them. I turned around to face them when Sumedh's gaze also followed there.

"Do you think yourself so smart enough to get out of our hands that easily?" One of them asked as a stupid smirk appeared on his face.I rolled my eyes at his comment and huffed in annoyance as clearly they all were so dumb. They even couldn't understand that I was fooling around them on that time.

"And yes, who are you Mr ? Open your mask." Another man exclaimed harshly narrowing his eyes at Sumedh.

"Poor man, you are gone. You all really have no idea with whom you are messing up." I thought inwardly shaking my head at them. I pitied them for landing in this situation due to their bad works. They decided to harm the mother and child and then follow me here, they were going to face their karma. They messed with the wrong person.

Before I could get over my thoughts, Sumedh pulled me by my wrist and made me stand behind him while he stood in front of me guarding me from those men. I released a breathe and crossed my hands over my chest being ready to watch the upcoming fight sequence. Sumedh clenched his fist and glowered at them who seemed to look equally filled with rage as Sumedh.

"Leave the girl and just get lost from here otherwise you will have to face the wrath of us." They threatened Sumedh with their high-pitched voice to which Sumedh opened his mask and smirked. Damn, I guess that he had the sexiest smirk in the whole world. I raked my eyes over his body to find him wearing a black leather jacket and black jeans. Like usual he had his hair bandana on. Let's be honest, he didn't like to put on those hair bandana but to hide his identity from everyone, he always carried himself in this outfit which consisted of his leather black jacket, black jeans or pants, a mask and a hair bandana.

"Let the time say who will be the one to get lost - me or you all ?" He said confidently throwing them a smug look which angered them further.As soon as he finished his sentence, two of them attacked on him intending to land two punches on his chest but to their misfortune, he bent his head down a little catching their fists and he kicked on the stomach of one of them making him to fall on his butt directly on the ground and that man started groaning in pain when Sumedh raised the hand of the other man who was already trying to escape from his tight grip and he punched on his throat making him to cough of blood. He tightened his grip around his neck making him choke of air.

I didn't notice that a man had already come to my side taking the chance. I was pulled near him when he slided a hand around my waist. I jerked off his hold only to be caged in his hold more tightly. The man turned me to face him glaring at me when I got an immediate idea to come out of this situation. I snaked my hands around his neck with a smile making him confused. Taking the chance, I lifted my thigh a little and directly kneed him on his pretty place when he screamed in pain. I then held his collar and slapped him many times until his face turned into tomato sauce.

"You stupid monkey, bastard, donkey, I will kill you." I shouted and punched him on his nose with so much force that I too winced in pain along with him. He covered his bleeding nose with his one arm and held my fist tightly. I didn't notice that this was the same hand in which I already had my injuries by Sumedh and the syringe. I felt my eyes to well up with tears as I blinked rapidly not to cry out now atleast not in front of Sumedh.

"Ahhhh, it's hurting. Leave" I scremed when he put pressure on my hand. I cried out loud which snatched the attention of Sumedh.

"Leave her." He yelled when I looked at him.

I observed how he kicked a man for the last time and came forward to save me grabbing the man's wrist and throwing a punch in his face. I couldn't hold my tears when Sumedh came towards me, concern written over his face. I instantly hugged him throwing my arms around his neck.I felt so safe in his arms. To my disappointment, he didn't reciprocate the hug and he just stood there blankly.

"What are you doing here ?" He whispered in my ear coldly. This tone of him was laced with fury and calmness that it frightened me more about what he could possibly do right now.

I lowered my lashes breaking the hug when he harshly made me to look at him. I looked deep into his eyes. There were different kind of emotions in his eyes as his eyes bored into mine. There was probity and yearning for something in his eyes and at the same time, his eyes said that he was upto do something dangerous for any intention.

We didn't know how much times we stood there only looking at each other's faces until my eyes traveled his whole face and finally landed on his lips. I felt a strong urge to take him and kiss him passionately when his eyes were also on my lips. He inched forward closing the distance between us and I too did the same closing my eyes getting prepared to feel his lips on mine. His lips brushed against mine making the fireworks erupt in my body as I felt the strong urge of kissing him right now.

But that never happened to my utter disappointment.

"No, we can't." Saying this ,he suddenly pulled away turning to face towards my opposite. This act of him made me completely dejected.So I inhaled and exhaled my breathe not to show my tears and my disappointment. Few minutes passed when we both only chose to maintain the silence. The atmosphere was filled with heavy tension with us remaining silent. I felt a knot tightening on my stomach as he turned towards me. His eyes held an unknown emotion but he soon recovered from it and glared at me.

"Why the hell did you come out when I completely forbade you for not going out of the house ?" Fianlly he came to the topic when I rubbed my face in tension. I knew that he would be going to question me sooner or later.

"Why are you so stubborn, girl? Why can't you understand that it's not safe for you? Why don't you listen to my advice and stay the fuck away from my life? I forbade you again and again to come out of the house but you didn't listen to me. What the hell are you doing here in the middle of night?" He stepped towards me, his eyes blazing with fire as he kept glaring in my direction.

"Why don't you listen to me ? " He took a step forward when my feet unknowingly moved backwards. I fidgeted my hands when I saw his face turning red with anger.

"Sumedh please, calm down. " I tried to comfort him as he started yelling at me for coming out without telling anyone.

"What calm down!! Have you seen yourself ? Are you fucking mad to wear such dress at this midnight?" My eyes moved to take an inspection of my outfit when I finally could be able to realise how much stupid I had been really to wear this dress.

He started screamimg at me while coming forward when I too only was going backwards. I didn't realize when I came almost near the footpath of the road. His screams almost echoed in this soundless road as I kept listening his harsh words against mine hardly controlling my tears.

Suddenly, my feet hit with the pavement during his scolding and I started falling backwards. To my surprise, the next moment I found a pair of arms holding me by my waist. I looked at the source to find Sumedh staring at me intensely as he held an unfamiliar expression. He helped me on my feets where I only kept staring at him without blinking my eyes.

"You are so stupid, Angel." He whispered , still looking in my eyes.

He took off his jacket and slided it around my shoulder.I only kept looking at him when he bent down a little and his hands went up to my knees as he lifted me up in bridal style. He carried me towards his car while our eyes were connected for whole time.

I know that this chapter is not written up to mark. So forgive me for the silly mistakes. I will try to edit and make the chapter perfect when I will get times to rearrange the story properly.
