Alec felt fuzzy in his throat and his eyes shooting darts behind it. He felt heaviness on his chest, his back is aching and his head weighed like a thousand tons. He tried to open his eyes knowing people are talking around him and he couldn't figure out who exactly the people is. He swallowed his throat dryly and tried to open his eyes again. "Alexander." The soft voice of his beloved could be heard faintly. "Darling open your eyes." He heard it again and he tries as best as he could to open it and when he did bright light appears and he closed them back tightly. He groaned as the flashes of light burned his eyes and made his head more pounding unlike before.

He felt his whole limbs numb and unable to move them. The only thing he able to move is his own eyelids. So he try again and slowly his vision adjusted to the light. The first thing he saw was Magnus' worried face closed to him. He looked around, he was no longer at the institute. He was at their home, in Magnus bed. He looked to his side and saw Jace with Izzy and Clary behind him, he was holding Alec's hand with his and tears flooded his eyes. "What happened?" Alec asked trying to get up but the sudden wave of dizziness hits him. When he looked around the bed, Luke is there with his mother by his side, Simon stood next to Catarina and Magnus on his left side. He tried to move his arm and failed, when he looked to his side, he saw shackles cuffed to his wrist. "What the hell?" He said as he shot up pulling the shackles away from him but failed and put more pain on himself.

"I'm sorry Alec but we had too, you are out of control." Jace said as Alec eyed him with anger. "What the hell guys? Let me go now! Magnus!" Alec screamed as he tried to get out from the cuff but failed. It seems to be protected by magic. "Calm down Alexander." Magnus said calmly as he placed his palm on Alec's shoulder, but he shrugged it off with hatred. "Uncuffed me right now!" Alec screamed at him but Magnus wasn't gonna do so. He took a step back further away from him, "You need to chill Alec, we are not the bad person here, we are all trying to help. You were gonna kill yourself after what happened to Johnathan. We can't have our leader torturing his mind like this. We need you Alec, more than you know it." Clary said but Alec refused to listen, he kept pulling the shackles off from his wrist earning bruised from it, he tugged the shackles hard and the more he tugged, the tighter it got around his wrist at some point he almost broke his wrist. "Arghh! Alec! Stop." Jace screamed holding his left wrist.

Maryse couldn't bare to see his son tortured each other like this so she stepped forward and went to Alec's side. "Alec listen to me! We are not the bad person, either you heal and well rested or I will have the Clave replaced you at the institute, your choice." Alec looked at his mother dumbfounded not believing what he just heard. "You wouldn't dare." He said as the words seethed through his clenched teeth. "Try me. Even though I am not part of shadow world anymore, I have my connection still. The soon your father knew about your condition he will find a replacement with a flick of his wrist." Maryse said snapping her fingers at Alec's face. Alec sighed nodding softly before he let his head falls back on the pillow.

"Come on everyone, time to leave, Alec needs his rest." Magnus said guiding them out from the room. Izzy went to his side and kiss Alec on his forehead, "I love you Alec, we will fight this together, don't give up. Let Magnus helped you. He needed you more than you needed him. You both need each other, you know it." Alec looked to his sister's eyes as she said those words. Slowly she was pulled away from Alec by Simon, "Come on, we'll see you tomorrow Alec." Simon said and Alec didn't say a word, Jace came to his side as he held his hand, it was cold and Alec clenched it in anger, "Hang in there buddy, I need my parabatai back, stop hurting yourself, you're not just hurting you, you're hurting me too." Jace said and Alec refused to look at him since his anger still boiling within him. He heard Jace sighed before he left the room.

They were out in a while leaving Alec alone in the room, leaving him alone in his thoughts and somehow he fell asleep again right after. Alec was woken up by the hunger in his stomach. It growls so loud it awoken him from his sleep. Its burns his chest and he could feel it up to his throat. He raised and try to stood but the shackles pulling him back on the bed, "Easy." Magnus voice appeared in the room and Alec saw him walking into the room. He was carrying a tray with him that Alec sure was food contained on them. As he set the tray down, he loosen the chains of the shackles so it would be lose and Alec adjusted himself on the bed.

"Open them I need to pee." Alec said but Magnus was hesitated to do so. He sighed sitting next to him and looked down on the floor. "Seriously Magnus? Am I a prisoner now? Uncuffed me." He commanded and Magnus did, with the key he had in his pocket, he unlocked the chains and it fell to the floor with a metal clanking sound. The soon Alec was freed, he immediately jumped towards the front door for his escaped but the moment he did so, he was blocked from exiting the loft. "What the hell?" He pushed the barrier but failed and he knew then that the loft has been warded for his prison. He turned around and headed for the balcony. When he opened the door wide, the breeze of New York night air hits his face. Sounds of car alarm and police or ambulance siren filled the air. He stood by the balcony trying to jump but the moment he did so, he was back in the living room, right in the middle of it.

"Fuck!" He said as he punched the floor beneath him. He gave up trying to escape and lay on the floor with arm and legs wide spread. He exhaled in exhaustion as he was hungry and tired, his little act of escapee didn't exactly helped him much. "Are you done? Cause if you're not its funny to watch it all over again." Magnus came forward from the bedroom crossing his arm on his chest looking down at Alec. "Why?" Alec asked him and Magnus sighed sitting on the floor beside Alec, crossing his legs on top of the other, he put his palm together forming a fist and hold it under his chin.

"I have Catarina put a spell around the loft so you won't escape, you are getting out of control Alexander. You were supposed to be our leader and you are killing yourself over one mistake." Magnus said and he saw Alec sat up facing him. "That one stupid mistake was my fault and it happened to be the disaster for all mankind. I was the one who supposed to guard him and I got distracted!" Alec screamed as he was kneeling in front of Magnus. "Its not your fault! He's a demon, its nothing you could do!" Magnus screamed back at him but he scoffed and tried to get up but his dizziness hits him again and he almost fell but caught by Magnus in time. "You okay?" Magnus asked worriedly but Alec was too tired to answer so he let Magnus carried him to the bed.

"Here, eat this." Magnus handed him the tray of food, it looks amazing and smells even better. The hot chicken soup with porridge cooked with ginger like they used to eat at Taki's during date night. "You remembered." Alec mutters as he saw the food, he remember that was the only thing Alec ordered when they had their first date until Magnus made him try something else. He totally forgot about this since its been a while he had one. He took the glass of water and gulped it down into half and placed it back on the tray. He took the spoon and start twirling the porridge in the bowl.

"I asked you to eat, not to play with your food." Magnus said after a while he saw Alec twirling the spoon, he sighed as he raised his shaky hands towards his mouth and swallowed the first spoonful of porridge. He inhaled and exhaled in relief as the food he swallowed goes down to his empty stomach. Magnus smiled as he saw Alec tries to eat another and after another. They didn't say anything but Magnus was supervising him till he cleaned his plate like a warden. He took the tray away as Alec cleaned himself in the bathroom.

After a while Alec had his shower and he was drying off his hair with the towel hanged and once he's done, he throw them in the laundry basket next to the door. He saw Magnus already preparing himself for bed and waiting for him. He saw Alec looking at him and he tapped his side of the bed signing Alec to come closer. Alec sighed as he turned off all the lamp in the room like he always do and leaving the light from the bedside. He was not wearing anything but a sweatpants leaving his chest bare and naked to torture Magnus on purpose.

Usually when Alec got into the bed Magnus would already jumped on his chest for cuddles but tonight was different. Alec felt like he is distant away from each other and he hated how this happened. "I'm sorry." Alec started. He cleared his throat when Magnus didn't respond to his words and try again, "I said I'm sorry." Alec stated again. "I heard you the first time, are you sorry for what you did or you're sorry cause you got caught?" Magnus said and Alec sighed. "I never meant to hurt anyone, I thought the stamina rune is enough but I was wrong, I need something more. I thought trying at first time was enough but I wanted more. It felt good at first but it grown to something else." Alec exhaled knowing what he did was wrong.

"You saw what it did to Izzy, you knew your ancestors before you suffered the great amount as well. You were supposed to come to me. I am your boyfriend, your partner, I thought we are in this together. But you chose that disgusting thing, you chose the yin-fen over me!" Magnus sighed as he sat up and rubbed his face with his palm. "H-How did you find out." Alec mumbles as he sat up resting his head on the headboard. "Like it was my first time someone so close to me destroying himself with it. The rage, the never hunger and the extra strength, it could either be that or a steroids." Alec looked to his side with a furrowed eyebrow, "What's a steroid?" He asked innocently. "Not important. The thing is Alexander I am really disappointed in you. How could you destroy yourself like that?" Magnus stated furiously, "I know, I'm sorry, hey," he went to Magnus side resting his chin on Magnus' shoulder, he left a soft kiss on Magnus cheek and their hands tangled together closed to Magnus' chest.

Magnus raised their hands and kissed Alec's knuckles before he turned his head to face him. "I'm sorry, it wont happened again. I promised." He said and closed their lips together in a kiss. Magnus let their kiss deepened and when he opened his mouth, Alec's tongue entered. They fought for dominance and Magnus climbed on top of Alec straddling him. The kiss were getting heated and Magnus gripped Alec's arm with his raising above Alec's head. Then Alec heard the sound of chains crackling and when he looked to his side, Magnus chained him again with the metal shackles. "What the fuck?" Alec tried to stop him but his other hand was chained too. "Magnus unchained me." He tugged on the shackles trying to free himself but he couldn't, it was controlled by magic once its sealed. "It stills need couple of days to get it out from your system, so in the mean time, we need to control your anger with this. Until I have convinced otherwise. Good night Alexander."

Magnus removed himself from on top of Alec and stood up from the bed. "I love you Alexander, I'm doing this for you and for us. I need you back and I know you will fight this, we can fight this together." He leaned forward to kiss Alec on his lips but Alec turned his head to the other side refused to kiss him. He know it was childish but he was angered at what Magnus did to him. He heard him sighed before he placed his kiss on Alec's forehead and left the room to sleep in the guest room for the night.
