Alec's P.O.V.
I was training in the weapons room and when Jace walked in my heart began to beat a little bit faster. I think it might be a small crush. I couldn't tell Jace but he was attractive either way. When he walked in he just looked at me. "Alec, you Ok?" Jace asks. "I'm fine. Just thinking" Alec says

I think I avoided that one nicely. At least I hope. I was about to hit the target with my bow and arrows when Izzy walked in. "Alec, can we talk?" She asks me. "About?" I say. "What was that in the weapons room back there?" She asks. "What do you mean?" I asked. "With you and Jace? I think somebody has a crush." She says exitedly. "I do not" I say.

I was getting pissed off. I mean, I shouldn't be but what if I told him? That would mess with our parabatai bond. Were like brothers in ways most people aren't. That is why I pretty much keep my sexual orientation to myself. Even my parents don't know anything and I plan to keep it that way for a long time. It is just better for everyone.

Later after I practice I take a shower since nothing interesting happened today. Tonight we were going to Pandemonium. It was owned by the high warlock of Brooklyn, Magnus Bane. I have never met him before. We were about to kill this demon when a red haired girl screamed. we saw her and just looked at her.

Jace was looking at her confused. I wondered how she saw us since we were hidden with a glamour. Even I was just a little confused. Was she a shadowhunter or just a mundane who had the sight? That I was about to find out.

Clary came and in a panic she grabbed Jace's stelle and killed the demon in front of her. It glowed showing that she is in fact a shadowhunter seeing as it won't glow for someone who isn't. Stubborn as Alec is though he doesn't believe she really is.

Things were going great, or so I thought. I never knew that there were anymore shadowhunters left here in Brooklyn. Things weren't what you expected anymore and things were changing faster than ever.

She had been hurt so we took her to the infirmary in the institute to be healed. I soon left with Izzy leaving her all alone with Jace. Who knows what the two of them were talking about. I went to the weapons room to to grab my bow and arrow. Then I went to the training room to shoot at the targets waiting to get used.

After I did that I went to my room then I got ready for bed and lay down while starting at the ceiling for a little bit. I then fell asleep. I was dreaming of a peaceful world where everyone got along with everyone. Where I knew I could tell my parents I'm hay and have them accept me.

I knew that would never happen and if it did they would only go so far as accepting me but not accepting who I'm with. This was a part of life Izzy was lucky she didn't have to deal with. Either way I'm glad she accepted m right away once I told her. I love her for that. She means a lot.

The next morning when I went to breakfast Izzy for some reason this time wasn't the one cooking. This time Clary had made pancakes for breakfast and Jace was eating them like it was nothing. I glad to see Jace enjoying having Clary here aat the institute.

I grabbed some and ate them. Man were they good. Better than my sister's cooking even. Not that I dared to tell her that. That just wasn't something you did. I knew better because they way she defended herself, she acted like you hurt her pride.

When I was done I helped clean up. Then I went to the foyer to see of there was some battle going on today.  It turned out we had to go to some party later on.
