One week after the breakup

Alec's POV
I sighed before running out in the rain trying to find shelter which an abandoned alleyway was my best option. I allowed my tears to fall hoping someone would find me, save me. My parabatai has turned against me and my sister was forbidden to see me just because of my sexuality. The Institute didn't feel like home anymore since I'm usually the only one there often. I have finally decided to run away and start a new life even though I wouldn't have any shelter. A laugh echoed through the alleyway forcing me to look up to see Camille. "Magnus never loved you," Camille hissed kicking me a couple times in the stomach. I didn't dare wince in the pain until she kicked me hard enough that I had to making her laugh. "You're weak," Camille growled kicking me one last time before disappearing in the night. I sighed as I clenched my stomach trying to take away the pain.

Magnus's POV
"WHAT?!" I yelled seeing my crazy ex in the doorway. "You should know Alexander Lightwood is in an abandoned alleyway. I think you should pay him a visit and teach him a lesson," Camille replied making me smile.
"Take me to him"
"As you wish"

Alec's POV
Mundanes stared at me weirdly as they passed by but I was too lazy to glamour myself. Let them talk, I really don't care. I laid my head in my knees allowing tears to fall not noticing the two presences entering. "Hello, Alexander," a familiar voice said forcing me to look up running straight into Magnus's fist. Magnus smiled and continued punching me happily. I gasped as his fist started hitting my stomach as his leg kicked where it hurts the most. Two hours later, Magnus stopped. "I hope that teaches you not to break anyone's heart," Magnus laughed walking away.

Three years later

Eric's POV
"Alec, it's an important ceremony! You have to go!" I exclaimed. "Eric, it's the most important shadowhunter ceremony which I won't be receiving the award just because I'm gay," Alec explained.
"You're a terrible liar. It's about Magnus being there"
"He physically hurt me after my breakup, Eric!"
"Only because Camille got to him"
"He would've stopped himself if that was the case!"

At the ceremony

Magnus's POV
"Congratulations, Clary, you deserve this award," I said happily. "Thank you, Magnus," Clary replied.
"You're very welcome. You look beautiful by the way"
"Izzy helped me"
"Is Jace even here yet?" Izzy asked rolling her eyes. Jace ran inside ready to go. "Jace!" Eric yelled before whispering something in his ear causing Jace to run out.

Jace's POV
"Alec?" I asked looking at the young immortal. "Hi, Jace," Alec answered.
"How are you? I should've never turned against you"
"Fine.."
"Are you okay?"
"I shouldn't even be here"
"Yes, you should!"
"Jace! I don't belong here!"
"I agree with you, Alexander," Magnus laughed. "What is your problem?!" I exclaimed.
"Nothing. I'm telling the truth"
I glanced at Alec who was hiding his face in his knees. "You're going to cry, Alexander? Do it!" Magnus laughed. Before I could say anything, Magnus grabbed Alec's hand and pulled him to who knows where.

Magnus's POV
I laughed pushing Alec harshly making him fall on his knees. I kicked his back making him go down on his chest. "Why are you even here? You're weak. You don't deserve your life," I hissed stepping on his arm. Alec started to cry making me smile. "What do you want from me?!" Alec exclaimed.
"Your happiness, Alexander"
"You're selfish!"
I growled before grabbing him by the shirt and slammed him against the wall. "How dare you talk to me like that?!" I hissed as I punched him a couple times. "Hurt me all you want!" Alec screamed encouraging me.
"Why don't you tell me what I can do to you? After all, you're the one who suggested it"
"Pretend to love me. My happiness will be yours"
"And you'll allow me to do anything to you?"
"Yes. Why don't you start with raping me?"
"As you wish"
I smiled as I teleported ourselves to my bedroom. With a snap of my fingers, Alec's clothes disappeared and hands tied while kissing his neck harshly all the way down to his erection.

A few hours later

Alec's POV
Magnus is punishing me for my earlier actions and I was screaming in pain. Magnus laughed as he kept beating me. "You don't deserve love," Magnus spat kicking me in the face making me gasp and cry out. "I'm done pretending to love you. You can go back to the dumpster where you belong," Magnus laughed untying my hands. He pushed me harshly out of his apartment not caring I was shirtless or had terrible bruising that would most likely get infected. "I'll see you same time tomorrow," Magnus growled stomping on my chest. "You have my happiness! What more do you want?!" I screamed.
"Oh, Alexander, I want to see you suffering"
I gasped as Magnus grabbed me by the chest and threw me down the stairs. He teleported himself in front of me and kicked me in the face until I was unconscious feeling the act of being carried and thrown in a dark room with chains on my hands and ankles.

The next morning

Alec's POV
I woke up screaming but couldn't move. "How was your night?" Magnus asked laying a tray of food in front of me removing the chains from my hands. "Fine," I lied.
"Good. Don't be afraid to eat, it's not going to kill you. I'm not Isabelle"
If Magnus wasn't being my tormenter, I would've laughed. Magnus smiled as I was struggling to eat and dropped the food everywhere. Magnus sighed and walked over to help me eat. "Can I see my family?" I asked unexpectedly. "Why should I allow you?" Magnus questioned.
"I need to know they're okay?"
"No, not good enough. What will you give me in return?"
"I'll do anything. I just need to see my family!"
"Tell me!"
I remained quiet since I had no good answer. I already gave him my happiness, what else could I give him? "Marry me," Magnus hissed. "What?" I asked.
"Marry me and you'll see your family"
"But if I marry you-"
"It will be permanent. Marry me and you'll be tormented forever or don't and you will never see your family anymore. Your choice"
"I can't-"
"You have one day"
Magnus quickly chained my hands back and walked out. "I'll be back in two hours. If you behave for my guest that will be coming to watch you, you'll sleep in a spare bedroom tonight. If not, you're back here," Magnus growled closing the door behind him.

Twenty minutes later

Jasmine's POV
"You must be Alexander," I said smiling. "And you are?" Alec asked.
"Jasmine Cranberry, warlock"
Alec smiled gently as I removed the chains from his body helping him to the apartment. "Magnus gave me a list of activities we'll be doing today," I smiled helping Alec to the kitchen table. "Can you please give me some water?" Alec asked.
"Magnus asked me not to give you anything to drink. I can only give you food"
"Please, I haven't drunk anything for days"
"I'm sorry but I must do what Magnus tells me"
Alec nodded as I got out a board game and played for a couple of hours.

Magnus's POV
I opened the door to find Jasmine and Alec playing their final activity. "Jasmine," I spoke causing Jasmine to look at me. "Yes?" Jasmine asked.
"My room, now"
Jasmine nodded following me to my bedroom closing the door behind her. "How was Alec?" I asked. "He behaved fine," Jasmine answered.
"That's all I need to know"
"He needs to be hydrated"
"Fine, I'll give him some water tonight"
Jasmine nodded as she exited my room with me following suit. I turned to look at Alec who was staring at Jasmine as she walked out of the apartment. "Alexander," I hissed forcing him to look at me. I smiled and walked over to him laying my hand on his shoulder. He flinched away from the touch so I punched him and dragged him to the couch pushing him harshly so that he fell on his knees. "You shouldn't have done that, it's time to punish you anyway," I hissed as I stomped on his hand making Alec cry out. About a hour later, I stopped and grabbed him by the shirt sitting him down on the couch before heading to the kitchen. "Any food preference?" I asked handing him a cup of water. "I don't care," Alec answered.
"No, I'm not taking that as an answer. You get to choose every other night"
"Spaghetti then"
I nodded as I went back to the kitchen and made our dinner. With a snap of my fingers, the television turned on to the movie channel. "Your choice," I spoke.

A few hours later

Magnus's POV
"You have terrible taste," I laughed. Alec didn't say anything as he was playing with his hands. "Follow me, Alexander," I announced walking to the nearest bedroom forcing him to follow. "This bedroom is now yours. Behave for now on and you'll keep it," I spoke. "No," Alec hissed.
"Don't you dare say no to me!"
I slapped him hard making him fall to his knees. Alec gasped making me laugh. "Have you made your decision?" I asked changing the subject. "I'll marry you," Alec answered making me smile.
"Great! I'll have our wedding as soon as possible! You'll probably regret it but you won't be able to divorce me"
I laughed as I walked out locking the door behind me.

Next morning

Alec's POV
"Alexander, darling, wake up. We have wedding plans to attend to," Magnus spoke throwing clothes at me and a dark blue scarf. I grumbled but obeyed quickly getting dressed. Magnus smiled before grabbing my hand slightly hurting my palm and pulled me out of the apartment to who knows where. "What day would you like to be married?" The guy asked. "Friday," Magnus answered.
"That soon?"
"We want it quick. Besides, not a lot of people will come"
The man nodded giving the papers for us to sign. Magnus signed it immediately but I faltered until Magnus kicked my leg forcing me to sign. Why the hell did I agree to this? Oh, yeah, to be able to see my family. Magnus smiled taking my hand and lead me to the suits which I was forced to wear color of Magnus's choice.

Wedding day

Magnus's POV
I smiled as I kissed my wonderful husband digging my nails in his arms forcing him to kiss back. Jace, Clary, Izzy, and Simon all looked disgusted and disappointed knowing that Alec was forced to marry just to see his family again. Robert and Maryse claimed that they didn't receive the invitation and therefore couldn't possibly make it. I pulled away grabbing Alec's hand and pulled him down the aisle. "Magnus," Jace spoke. "Go ahead to the reception. We'll be there shortly," I responded before entering a building. I opened the closest room door locking it behind me. I pushed Alec harshly on the floor making him tense. "Camille told me ideas of what I could do to you after our wedding and I loved all of them," I laughed stepping on his chest. Alec squirmed trying to move from me but stopped when I stomped. "You're making this difficult for yourself," I laughed helping him up and tied his hands while putting a bag over his head. He fell unconscious as I caught him in my arms.

Alec's POV
I woke up at the reception not knowing what Magnus did to me. Jace was sitting next to me holding my hand and I forced a smile. "It's been too long," Jace chuckled. "Has it? I had no idea," Magnus smirked resting his arms around my shoulders.
"Why are you tormenting him?"
"Ah, I'm not going to answer that. Let's just say Alexander deserves it"
I paled faster than a cheetah but returned normal when Magnus kicked my leg. Jace looked like he was about to get sick but ran to the dance floor as Izzy, Clary, and Simon walked up to me forcing their congratulations. I smiled and forced my thank you. Magnus grabbed me by the hand pulling me back to the apartment, I would never say ours. I was pushed harshly onto the couch as Magnus pounced tying my hands and removed my clothes way too quickly. I was forced to scream in pleasure if I wanted a break from punishment. Even though I obeyed, I still got punished but not severely. Magnus laughed as he snapped his fingers making me go unconscious and to not remember anything in the morning except the marriage.

Next morning

Magnus's POV
"Alexander!" I screamed in his ear causing him to wake up. I smiled before punishing him. Alec screamed since he was not expecting it. "We're married now. Double punishment per day," I laughed. "Why punishment?" Alec hissed.
"Darling, this is what you signed up for"
"No. You never enjoy punishment. Something has changed you, Magnus"
"I guess you could say it was all an act. I only dated you because no one else would. Because you're weak to not find someone"
"I loved you!"
"I never loved you! I was pretending to make you happy! Every time you got hurt, I was happy. Every time you had people hate you, I enjoyed watching you hurt"
I laughed punching him making him wince in pain. "You deserve to be tormented," I growled grabbing him by the shirt and slammed him against the wall kicking his stomach. I let go harshly making him fall on the floor. I used my magic to choke him resulting in him coughing up blood when I stopped. I laughed while snapping my fingers making his hands tied to the wall. I kneed down resting my fingers on his chin forcing him to look at me. "I'm going to enjoy this game. You scream, I kick you in the face until you become unconscious," I laughed. "I'll never scream for you!" Alec hissed.
"Oh, but you will. Camille has your parabatai and will punish him if you don't obey"
Alec gasped making me laugh. "Don't worry, this game is played only once a week," I growled.

Few hours later

Alec's POV
I woke up on Magnus's bed and tried to move but couldn't as there were strong arms wrapped around my waist tightly that it actually hurt. I groaned and pushed away the arms to get up and walked out of the bedroom door. I needed coffee so I decided to make some. Magnus screamed and hurried out of his bedroom wrapping his hands around my waist tightly when he got to me. I smiled but it wasn't forced. This was a part of the old Magnus I used to love and thought I could still love him. Apparently, I was wrong.
