Death of A Lightwood

Alec's POV
"I love you, Izzy. Don't you dare leave me," I whispered holding my dying sisters hand. "Stay strong for me, Alec," Izzy whispered.
"You're going to be okay..."
"No, I'm not. It's time for me to go"
I trembled as my sister took her last breath before starting to sob. "Alec, I'm so sorry I couldn't save her," Eric spoke. "I want you to leave. I need to be alone," I struggled through my tears.
"Let me at least take you to your bedroom"
"Okay"

Three weeks later

Magnus's POV
I sighed quietly before opening the door to the manor where Isabelle Lightwood's funeral was taking place and quietly walked to the back. Everyone was in silence as her mother was speaking memories about her while crying. I glanced towards the front trying to find Alec who was in the front row with tears strolling down his face. "Alec Lightwood, please make your way up to the platform," a silent brother spoke.

Alec's POV
"Isabelle Lightwood was a good sister even though she was crazy and could be overprotective. She and a few others helped me find myself but she was always the first. She was loving and strong," I spoke before starting to sob. My mother was crying and I just couldn't speak anymore so I ran out of the manor not noticing the man following me.

Magnus's POV
Alec's speech was beautiful until he started sobbing. I could see his mother crying just as Alec ran out of the manor causing me to follow him. He didn't seem to notice though. I found him in the gardens on his knees allowing tears to fall. I sighed quietly before walking slowly until my hand found his shoulder making Alec glance up. "What are you doing here?" He questioned. "I came for the funeral, am I not allowed?" I asked.
"You are allowed but why?"
"I was worried about you"
"Worried about me?! Magnus, you haven't been part of my life for 6 years!"
I sighed going on my knees turning Alec to face me. His eyes were watery from the tears but they were still beautiful. "You're never okay whenever there's a death," I whispered before kissing his lips. Alec was shocked but stayed frozen until I pulled away. "Alec?" A man asked behind me. "Peter," Alec whispered.
"What's going on?"
"Nothing"
"Alec"
"Peter, I just lost my sister, I'm not in the mood to talk right now"
I stared at Alec for a while before glancing the other direction. "And you are?" Peter asked, raising an eyebrow. "A friend of Alec," I answered.
"Care to introduce him, Alec?"
"Magnus, meet Peter, my husband," Alec answered.
