Alec sat in his bedroom at the institute, bored out of his mind. It was around one am now, yet he couldn't sleep. So he decided to text his favourite person.

Mags, I'm bored.

Great! So am I sweetums and I was just about to invite you over ;) sooo come.

Magnus as much as I'd like too, you know I can't.

Alexander, it's not as if your parents are awake at the moment! Sneak out.

Are you kidding me!? What if I'm caught!?

Your a shadowhunter, sneakiness is your specialty.
Alec thought for a moment, then he grinned. He might as well fall asleep at his boyfriends place if he couldn't sleep here.

What's that supposed to be?

A kissy face alec, a kissy face. Just come already okay?

Of course.

And so Alec set off, climbing out his window with a silence rune (sorry forgot the real name for the rune)
and into the night.
He arrived at the flat, buzzed and was let in. As soon as he stepped inside, Magnus pounced on him, giving him a mark on his neck right in his sweet spot. Alec seemed to melt into the kisses, and Magnus scooped him up and carried him into the bedroom, and the two had a passionate night.

"Robert where is he!?" exclaimed Maryse Lightwood, as she frantically rushed around the institute looking for her eldest son.

"Is he not in his bedroom?"

"No!"

"Training room?"

"No"

"Library?"

"Robert for the last time he's nowhere in the house! It's not like him, he's not like the other two, usually he's in his room reading!"

"Are the other two here?"

"Yes"

"Then I don't know. Did you call him on his cellphone? (late night when he needs your love lol sorry) "

Maryse rolled her eyes. "He isn't picking up."

"How bout we go to that warlock "Magnus Bane? He could give us a tracking spell. Apparently the downworlder will do anything for money" he spat.

"Yes. Yes that's a good plan. Shall we go then?"

Robert rose out of his seat, and the two of them drove off, wondering where their poor son was.

Alec woke up naked, tangled in the sheets with his boyfriend. He was snoring softly, and his nose scrunched up as he felt Alec's soft lips against his, until he returned the gesture with heat. Finally, Magnus pulled away.

"Make us some coffee, and I'll make pancakes" he said. Alec grinned. Then immediately he had a worried look on his face.

"By the Angel! Magnus it's morning! My parents are probably looking for me! Oh God this isn't good, oh no oh no" blabbed Alec, while Magnus watched him amused. Yet Alec got up, went to the coffee machine and made two cups while Magnus was at the stove. Love marks covered Alec's neck from the night before, and Alec had to find someway to get rid of them, or cover them up. Then suddenly the doorbell rang, and since Magnus was watching the stove, Alec had to pull on a pair of jeans and a shirt, not bothering to zip them up or put on a belt and he trudged over to the door.
When he opened it up, he had to put his fist in his mouth to keep him from screaming.

When the door opened, Maryse was expecting to see the glittery warlock, not her own son with-by the Angel- hickeys on his neck. The three Lightwoods stood silent for a moment, as Maryse and Robert took in their dishevelled son. His hair was messy, face flushed, neck red, shirt covered in mysterious stains and his pants were un-zipped, un-buttoned and belt less.

  Alec surprisingly spoke first.

   "M-m-mom w-w-what brings y-you guys here?" he stammered. Robert simply stood in shock, and Maryse opened her mouth.

   "I was just about to ask you the exact same thing" she said sternly. Alec ran a hand through his hair and looked like he was at a loss for words.

   "Your mother and I are here because we came here for a tracking spell for you, if that's the explanation your looking for. Care to give us yours?" said Robert finally.  Alec opened his mouth and no sound came out. Unfortunately, at that moment Magnus came to rest a hand on Alec's shoulder, and it didn't help that he was only wearing his pink smiley face boxers. "Alexander darling what's wr-" as soon as he saw the other Lightwoods at his door he immediately retracted his hand, his mouth forming a gaping O.

   "M-mom, D-dad, I- I have something to tell you" said Alec heavily. Robert and Maryse exchanged glances and stepped inside the flat, closing the door behind them.

:O well guys I have a problem. I have this chapter planned out right? But the problem is that I can't decide whether or not I want Alec to take the lead (yes it will be a bit smutty you have been warned) and mess up, or have Magnus do it like the pro he is. Guys just tell me Alec or Magnus? Don't even pay attention to what I just said, simply answer this:
