This is just a bunch of prompts of Aubrey, their daughter. I don't know why I chose Aubrey but yup here it is :).

Alone Time

Alec sat on the couch beside his husband, lounging around and watching tv. Weekdays always went like this, when their 15 year old daughter Aubrey was at school, the two just seemed like they didn't have anything to do.

"Alec?" asked Magnus.

"Yes honey?" he replied.

"When was the last time we...made love?" he whispered. Alec was silent. Then he laughed.

"Longer than planned."

"Soooo, want to make up for it?"

Alec grinned. "But it's almost 3:30! Aubrey might be home soon!"
"Hush. It's 2:33 we got plenty of time" then the two men shot up and went to the bedroom, making up for all that lost time at last.

"Aubs you got any food?" asked Aubrey's best friend, Diana.
"I told you! My dads always have food!" she grinned. She was of course, a shadowhunter, but her friends were mundane. She liked to spend half her time training and half her time at school. Life was more fun that way. She opened the door to her parents flat, and walked in.

"Dads!? Daaaads!? Diana, Lindsey, Craig and Michael are here! We got a project to do and we're hungry!" There was no response. She shrugged as she went towards the fridge. When she turned around, she saw that all her friends looked uncomfortable and were blushing.

"Guys you've been here before what's wrong?" she asked.

"Aubbey! Do you not here that!?" hissed Craig. Aubrey listened. Then she herself blushed. She could hear moans and yelps coming from her parents bedroom and she then realized that she better leave.

"Let's all go to my house...now?" suggested Lindsey. Aubrey quickly wrote her fathers a note and she and her friends booked it out the door.

Alec and Magnus sauntered out the bedroom, feeling pleased at what they had done. Then suddenly, Alec shouted: "MAGNUS LOOK AT THE TIME!" The clock read 4:12 and Alec looked shocked. "Aubrey isn't home yet!"

   "Or, she and her friends heard us and left as soon as possible" said Magnus, indicating the note stuck to the fridge.

Dear Dads,
Um, me, Lindsey, Diana,Craig and Michael had a project to do, and you guys,er, seemed busy at the time judging by the sounds coming from your bedroom. So we're all crashing at Linds' house, thanks a lot. Now I'll be known as "the girls whose parents couldn't keep it in their pants." My friends probably are scarred for life, same here. Okay well, I thought you guys should know where I am.

"They heard us"

Aubrey's Alone Time?

"WHERE DID THESE COME FROM!?" screamed Alec as he searched Aubrey's room.

"Alec calm down, if she finds out we searched her room-"

"TO FIND THESE?!" He indicated to what he was holding. "Oh I am going to KILL that downworlder boyfriend of hers!"

"Alec let's not be hasty let's just talk to her about it."

Alec snorted. "Like she'll tell us"

"Alec she-she is 17 now and she'll be 18 soon, so if she wanted to make this decision with her boyfriend-"

"I WAS 18 WHEN I MET YOU! AND EVEN THEN I STILL WAITED QUITE SOME TIME BEFORE I DID IT!"

"Exactly. You were 18 yourself when we did it. If she trusts Seth then-"

"BUT I DON'T TRUST SETH! I'M HER FATHER-"

"And so am I"

Alec huffed. "Aren't you even the slightest bit angry?"

"Yes because she didn't talk to us first but I can see where it's coming from. Alec she's not a li-"

"Dads?! What's going on!?"

"Why don't you tell us why there's a BOX OF CONDOMS IN YOUR BEDROOM!?" shouted Alec. Aubrey gulped. This was going to take some explaining.

Adoptions

Alec was pacing around the Idris orphanage, while Magnus sat in a chair leaning over, his chin resting on his hands. Suddenly, a lady shadowhunter appeared.

"Alexander and Magnus Banewood?"
Alec and Magnus stood up.

"That's us" called Magnus. The lady ushered them into the room, and then handed them the baby. She was 15 months, not too old and not too young. Her tiny face was scrunched up into a look of amusement, as she tugged at Magnus's glittery hair. The couple laughed.

"She's beautiful" breathed Alec.
  "What have you decided to name her?" asked the woman.

    "Aubrey Catarina Isabelle Banewood" they said at the same time. Then they filled out the papers and proceeded to take her back to the Lightwoods home, where everyone was awaiting her arrival.

   "She's so precious!" sighed Isabelle, as she delicately held the infant in her arms. Everyone surrounded the baby, cooing at the little thing. Jocelyn and Maryse were laughing and talking about the clothes, Alec and Robert were discussing parenthood, Luke and Magnus talked of children, Clary, Jace and Simon surrounded Isabelle and the baby, and were playing with her. Then Alec scooped up the child and everyone portaled  back home.

Once they arrived at the flat, Catarina immediately got the baby from their arms and cradled her.

"Aw, her eyes are like Magnus's! Well, the colour is at least." Indeed, Aubrey had gold-green Amber eyes, and Alec's raven black hair. Even though she was not the couples blood, the two had wanted to find a baby that would get as close to the two of them as possible. And the orphanage just happened to have the perfect child. She was part European and part Indonesian. She had been orphaned, as her parents had been killed by demons in Indonesia. She looked as if she really were the offspring of the two, and Alec and Magnus liked to think it was that way. They had bought her everything, and Clary had painted her nursery. It was pink and purple stripes with a red crib and blue blankets. Magnus had of course taken the clarity to buy all of Aubrey's clothes ("Alec I'm never letting you buy her a sweater and sweatpants, ever.") while Alec bought the diapers and other essentials. Maryse and Jocelyn had helped the two start the planning, buying the right things and etc. They helped them choose the right food brand, how to make their own baby food and such. Catarina had found healthy mothers who were willing to donate their breastmilk so Aubrey could drink it. Isabelle, Simon, Clary and Jace had bought her toys and clothes (Clary bought her crayons and a colouring book) and Luke and Robert were their for advice (they had also given them money, which the two had refused but eventually Luke and Robert had won.)

"Well Aubrey, welcome to your new home" said the couple. Aubrey smiled.

Pig Tails

"Circle time circle time lets all learn our shapes!" The children sang, as Magnus and Alec had come to pick up Aubrey from her first day of kindergarten. They talked to the teachers and other parents, when suddenly their bubbly little 5 year old ran up to them.

"Daddys! Today was so much fun but Michael said that pigtails were for pigs and then he snorted at me!"

Alec leaned over, suddenly protective.
"Who was it pumpkin? Be a good girl  and tell daddy!" He said, reaching to pull out his seraph blade.

   "Alec you can't kill a five year old! But who was it now sweetums?" he asked quietly. Aubrey pointed to a boy with brown hair that was currently building a tower. Magnus strode over to him.

   "Hey kid"

   "What mister?"

   "Pigtails aren't piggy, but you know what is?"

     "No"

   "You"

And then with some blue sparks, Michael grew a pigs snout. He squealed as he flailed his arms around and Magnus scooped up a laughing Aubrey and ran out the door, leaving a startled Alec until he then joined him. Once at the flat, huffing and puffing Alec said
"Magnus change him back he's only five"

  "Says the one who was threatening to kill him" muttered Magnus but he snapped his fingers anyway. He then conjured up a ball and in the ball a crying Michael at the doctors could be seen with his parents. He was now jumping about, as his horrible snout was now gone.

    "Magnus, you didn't have to do that."

   "Yes I did. No one insults my daughter or my hairstyling skills. Its hard doing those you know!"

  They all laughed, and then went to go eat lunch.
