Flashback childhood. (Y/n) POV: (Y/n) 5 years old, Ikaruga: 8 years old
(Y/n): Hey sis will we always be together forever?
Ikaruga: Of course we will why do you ask that?
(Y/n): Well it's just that for you, you're 3 years older than me, and I'm afraid you'll leave because of my crazy older brother.
Ikaruga: Don't be ridiculous we'll always be together.
(Y/n): Pinky promise big sister.
Ikaruga: Of course. We held our pinkies together in a promise that we made so long ago.
(Y/n): 9 years old Ikaruga 12 years
(Y/n): Hey sis do you wanna play some games with me?
Ikaruga: I can't I'm busy maybe some other time.
(Y/n): But sis you always say that, and you never have anytime to play.
Ikaruga: I'm sorry but I just have a lot more stuff to do leaving me less time for myself. Go play with Murasame okay.
(Y/n): *sad face* Okay. I begin to walk out of my older sister's room, gently closing the door shut.
Ikaruga's POV (flashback)
Ikaruga: (I'm sorry, I'll make this up to you.) If only I did make it up to him sooner, my family talked about enrolling me to Hanzo Academy, in which I can train to be a shinobi, I was excited but both of my brother's didn't like the idea. My younger brother not wanting me to leave him behind and be alone since we used to play together all the time. As for my older brother he wasn't too thrilled that I passed the enrollment to enter Hanzo and was completely livid. Everytime he would see me, he would ridicule me into thinking that I was always alone, but that wasn't the case since I had my little brother by my side, but after today it ends. We won't be together anymore, and I will truly feel like I really am alone. I started to tear up, and cried softly remembering all the fun that (Y/n) and I used to have together when we were little. (Those days felt so long ago, I wish I could turn back time and relive those moments, you were always with me but now that time is over, I'll be on my own.) I went back to my room, but stopped midway.(Maybe I should see (Y/n) one last time before I go.) I went into (Y/n)'s room and saw him asleep I walked over to his bed and he looked so cute asleep, and I looked around his room and saw manga neatly stacked on his shelf, a gaming console, his computer which had the monitor on, I got curious and took a peek and what I saw brought back memories it was an old cartoon we used to watch together it made us laugh so much on how the animals were so comedic and wacky. It brought tears to my eyes, and I thought that maybe he was watching this to make him smile, and relive the times we spent together. I whispered quietly (Y/n) I going to miss you so much, good night little brother, I gave him a kiss on the cheek, and what shocked me the most was a single teardrop fell from his eyes as he said my name.
(Y/n): Ikaruga, sister dearest I'll miss you.
Ikaruga: I felt a teardrop fall from my eye, (Yeah me too (Y/n) my precious little brother. I wish you the best when I'm gone.) I went back to my room to sleep.
Next day (still Ikaruga's POV flashback)
Ikaruga: It's time.....I got my things ready and proceeded to get out of my room, and met my family my parents and siblings were there my older brother Murasame, looked glad that I was leaving but on the inside he was angry that it wasn't him that was going. While my little brother was trying hard not to cry.
Ikaruga: Don't cry I'll come back and visit
(Y/n): You promise big sister.
Ikaruga: Yes I will (Hopefully I can keep that promise this time!)
(Y/n): Sis here. He handed me a stuffed teddy bear that I won for him in an arcade machine when we were little. I cried and held him close.
Ikaruga: *cries* Thank you (Y/n) I'll take good care of it. I'm going to miss you all.
Murasame: Hmph whatever once your done being all sappy, get going!
Father: Murasame enough! (Y/n) it's time to let her go kiddo, now say goodbye to her.
(Y/n): Okay goodbye sister dearest. Good luck He kisses me on the cheek, and when I looked at him he was smiling and crying at the same time.
Ikaruga: Thank you goodbye my dear brother. I smiled the same while crying. Goodbye everyone
Mother: *sniffle*Goodbye dear we'll miss you.
Ikaruga: Right goodbye. with that I left my house and went to Hanzo Academy.
Present day (Ikaruga's POV still) (Y/n): 13 Ikaruga: 16
I was getting ready for training along with the rest of my team which consisted of female shinobi. Asuka the granddaughter of the legendary shinobi Hanzo, Katsuragi the blonde bombastic pervert, Yagyu the silent prodigy, and Hibari.
Asuka: Okay is everyone ready?
Katsuragi: hehe all set.
Yagyu: Yes
Hibari: I'm ready
Ikaruga: Ready to go.
Asuka: Okay let's go. We all went down the chute that led to the gymnasium where we met Kiriya-sensei.
Kiriya: Okay girls it's time to train hand to hand combat.
Girls: Right!
We all got into positions I was against Katsuragi who is skilled at hand to hand well more to say she's more of a kicker than anything. But I got ready while my hand to hand combat wasn't the best, I managed to defeat Katsuragi for once.
Katsuragi: Oh man, I was sure I had ya this time!
Ikaruga: ! (Y/n: Oh man, I was sure I had ya this time! No fair big sis, I wanna rematch!) When Katsuragi said that I remembered my younger brother, I wanted to see him again, so much time has passed since I saw him, and over the time I couldn't get him out of my mind, I wanted to hold him, and tell him how much I love him. But the love I felt for him felt more than just family love, I wanted us to be together, I wanted to see him again. I didn't realize I was crying until Asuka pointed it out.
Asuka: Ikaruga, Ikaruga are you okay?! Your crying.
Ikaruga: *sniffle* I'm sorry but it's just I want to see someone very dear to me again.
Katsuragi: Oooohhh is it your boyfriend perhaps? She asked cheekily.
Ikaruga: No my younger brother, I miss him a lot.
Kiriya: Well why not see him once training is over, I'll allow it.
Ikaruga: Thank you Kiriya-sensei. With that I called my parents, and they were glad I contacted them, when I brought up about my brothers, my father told me that Murasame is working in a bank, while (Y/n) was in the same school as I was, but what he didn't know was that I was in a Shinobi school while he was attending regular classes. When that was said I went to go find him, after I took a shower and decided to wait for him by the gate. Most boys were looking at me, but I didn't pay any attention to them, (Y/n) is the only person who is meant for me.
(Y/n) POV
(Y/n): Mmhm, done and done. My homework was all finished before school ended, that way I had more time to play around. But I was stopped by my friend Nick.
Nick: Dude did you hear?
(Y/n): Hm? Hear what?
Nick: They are beginning the Rockman.EXE anime marathon(Megaman NT Warrior) it's showing from the first episode all the way to the ending of Axess. Then next week from Rockman.EXE Stream to Beast+. We gotta go see it bro.
I immediately stood up and grabbed my phone, to call my parents.
(Y/n): Mind if I stayed at my friends place for today, and tomorrow I'll come back home.
Father: Of course you deserved it with all the grades you've been getting, it's only fitting that you get some time off, and besides its the weekend so have fun. Oh wait your mother has something to say
Mother: (Y/n) dear don't be a burden to your friend okay, or their parents.
(Y/n): That I know, but seriously thanks Mom, thanks Dad. I hung up the phone. So when does the marathon start?
Nick: 30 Minutes, we need to buy chips, soda, nachos, and all sorts of junk food.
(Y/n): Don't forget about fruits we need some of that too, but seriously......WHAT?! WE BETTER GO NOW, NOW, NOW!
Nick: Then quit talking and get a move on already!
(Y/n): All right, I grabbed my pack, and proceeded to run outside to go to the store, and buy some of the things that we need, and that's when I saw her outside the school. Oh sister what brings you here? I kept seeing Nick get further ahead not realizing that I wasn't behind him.
Ikaruga: How's my younger brother doing? She tried to give me a hug only to be interrupted by my friend.
Nick: Dude this is no time to be goofin around with girls! COME ON WE GOTTA SEE IT TO THE VERY END NOW COME ON!
(Y/n): Okay! Sorry sis but I gotta go later. I then left my sister behind in order to catch up with my friend. Sorry, sorry about.
Nick: You know that chick?
(Y/n): Yep she's my older sister, but I rarely see her at home so it was kinda nice seeing her again.
Nick: You think she'll like the marathon?
(Y/n): Highly doubt it since she's so busy all the time. Anyways let's get going!
Nick: If you say so. We proceeded to head to the supermarket to get the things we need ranging from small cakes, to soda bottles, to juice bottles, to chips, to candy.
(Y/n): Hey man, we need something more than just junk food, we gotta get some fruits.
Nick: All right but let's get em quick. We ran into the produce aisle buying, seedless grapes, apples, oranges, and plums.
(Y/n): With this, this will be our treat now let's go to the cashier and buy them and run back like no tomorrow.
Nick: Right. We ran straight to the cashier and paid for everything, then proceeded to run out again with our shopping items in hand, and ran back to Nick's home to watch the marathon. Whew only 15 minutes to spare! Let's get everything ready.
Nick: Right.
Ikaruga's POV
After seeing what just happened, I saw that my younger brother looked a lot more handsome, yet still remains that cute, childlike side of his. But I was also sad that we didn't get to talk, and he looks a lot happier now, than he was with me. I haven't visited my family for years, and I remembered that promise that I would make it up to him, and visit but those were empty promises I couldn't keep because of my shinobi training. I felt like crying but tomorrow is when I'll visit my family, and make amends with him. I went back to the school , and met my friends.
Asuka: So how did it go?
Ikaruga: I didn't get a chance to talk to him. All he did was greet me, and then went with his friend since he called out to him.
Katsuragi: If you want I can distract him for ya.
Ikaruga: No, last thing I want is for you to mess him up.
Katsuragi: I'm not gonna beat him to death, just give him an incentive that way you can have more time with your brother.
Yagyu: No, don't if you do we'll have him chasing you around like a fanatic.
Hibari: Well I could distract him.
Yagyu: Hibari don't who knows what he'll do to you I'll distract him.
Asuka: I could invite him to eat futomaki rolls with me?
Ikaruga: You do know that my brother's friend isn't an enemy right?
Girls:......
Asuka: Right, sorry. But how are you going to plan to do this.
Ikaruga: Tomorrow I'm going home for awhile, and just meet up with him then.
Yagyu: That sounds like a good plan, but we are shinobi we don't have time for this.
Hibari: Are you saying if your sister came back, you wouldn't have time for her?
Yagyu:....(sigh She got me good there, I wouldn't know what I would do.) Your right Hibari, Ikaruga it's best if you went and saw him.
Katsuragi: I'll keep his friend distracted.
All of turned towards her with a dark aura.
Katsuragi: Ehehehehe....never mind.
Ikaruga: Okay thank you everyone. I left to go back to my room, and began to get myself ready for tomorrow I contacted my parents again, and told them I was coming home. My parents were excited to see me again, they were getting everything ready for my return, in which they shouldn't since it's just me coming back home. But that's when I realized what tomorrow was his birthday, and I haven't bought him a gift. I got my money, and proceeded to head out in order to buy a gift, but I realized I don't know or remember what he likes.
Ikaruga: (Oh no I can't remember what he likes, I know he likes manga but what kind his preferences may have changed throughout the years. What can I get him....) As I thought to myself I was walking aimlessly not knowing where I was going, until my feet took me to a bakery. (A bakery huh, well he does like baked goods), so I went inside and checked what they have, and I decided to buy him a dozen eclairs a french dessert. I'm sure he'll like this gift. I left the store and went back to my school, to get ready for tomorrow.
(Y/n) POV
As I sat with my friend Nick, I was wondering what did my sister wanted to talk to me about, it must've been non-important just a simple meet and greet and that would've been it since she's so busy all the time.
Nick: Oh man this anime rules right!
(Y/n): Sure does, we were watching Rockman.EXE Epsiode 22 when Rockman(Megaman) and Blues(Protoman) used the Life Sword Program Advance. It was amamzing, the buildup, the action and the music hands down amazing.
Nick: Apple Juice?
(Y/n): Sure. I took the botttle of apple juice and began to drink it. By the way where are your parents?
Nick: They said that they'll be back by Sunday, since there is somethings to do with the family outside, and I'm too young to know what's up, so I'm in charge of the house.
(Y/n): Nice.
Nick: Also that sister of yours what's her name.
(Y/n): Her name's Ikaruga why?
Nick: Your sister's got some giant knockers.
(Y/n): Knockers? I've never seen my sister have knockers before, mostly because we don't see each other a lot, and she probably lives on her own.
Nick: I see but would you like to feel them knockers in your hands.
(Y/n): Sure I would knock on the door, and just meet her at her place.

Nick: Sure, we continued to watch the marathon until the next day.
(Y/n): Oh man, that was awesome, the whole concept of cross fusion, double soul, dark chips, the scenes were truly unforgettable along with all the battles. Rockman.EXE you are an awesome anime.
Nick: Definitely, sobefore you get going I want to show you something.
(Y/n): Okay what is it?
Nick: Get ready. He turned on his computer and went to YouTube, you gotta see this guy he's hysterical.
(Y/n): Dashiegames I've seen his videos before really hysterical, especially the Super Mario Maker videos he is getting better with his editing.
Nick: Well he uploaded a new episode of Super Mario Maker wanna see?

Nick: No prob, besides you've been a good friend for a long time. When I first met you I thought you would be all snobby, and uptight since your rich and all. But my opinion of you has definitely changed a lot. You're outgoing, and don't even care if you are talking with someone who's a commoner as most rich people would call us. (Y/n): Yeah you too we had some good times and had hysterical moments, but I know who I am, and what good to know about it is. It's to stick to your roots.

(Y/n): Yeah well time to head home, later Nick. Until the next marathon, also who were those gifts meant for?
Nick: Uh.....for my friend's since his birthday was coming up.

I got my gift ready and proceeded to go back home.
Ikaruga: Okay I'll be going now.

Ikaruga: Right. I went back home only to be greeted by my foster parents.
Father: It's good to see you again Ikaruga, how was everything
Ikaruga: It went well father thank you where's mother.
Father: Your mother had to get things ready for (Y/n)'s birthday, so she won't be back for awhile.
Ikaruga: I see and where are my two brothers. Murasame is doing fine, he went to get his brother a gift, while (Y/n) was hanging out at his friend's house. He won't be back until today either the afternoon or evening.
Ikaruga: I see, well here's his gift. I handed him the bag filled with a dozen of eclairs.
Father: That is really sweet of you Ikaruga, I'm sure he'll appreciate it.
I went upstairs to my old room, everything has been rearranged to look like a place of studying, and achievements. On the walls I saw achievements ribbons, and trophies in track and field, and academic study, all of them were addressed to (Y/n). Looks like my younger brother has become quite a star. hmm...I looked around the shelves, and all of them were explaining simple forms of breathing exercises, yoga, and nutrition facts. Hmm...does he want to be a sports physician, or a training coach? I put the books back, and proceeded to go to his room. I saw that, his room expanded a lot the last time I was here a door connects to what was once my room. In here just screams his presence, games neatly stacked on the shelf, mostly fighting games, hack and slash games, and horror games? Never knew he liked them. There was a PS3 on the shelf were the TV was, and PSP on top of a table mat. He's gotten quite busy as of late. I looked around more his bed was bigger than it originally was, and he has his own bathroom now. This house really was renovated after I left. I left the room only to find on the the desk, his Ipad it was glowing and on the screen. It said someone left a comment regarding a book. When I saw it I got curious and opened it up, it was book that he must've wrote, and people are going crazy for it because they want more chapters. Looks like an author as well.....just how much have you gone through after I left. I went downstairs to find my mother and father getting ready for his arrival.
Mother: Hello Ikaruga, how is everyone?
Ikaruga: Good mother, thank you for asking. I heard the door open.
(Y/n): I'm home! Hi Mom, and Dad. Sister dearest! It's good to see you again!
Ikaruga: Right nice to see you too. It felt nice hearing that term again, it shows just how much he loves me, but in a family sense. So how was your day?
(Y/n): It was awesome, yesterday my friend Nick and I saw an anime marathon of Rockman.EXE it was amazing and next week, is the other part of the marathon.
Ikaruga: I see. (Even after being this age, he still retains that childlike personality, and innocence it was actually pretty cute to see him behave like this.) Happy birthday little brother, I hugged him, and my father gave me the eclairs I gave him.
(Y/n): Hmm...what's this? He took a look at it, and wondered what it was, he sniffed it a bit, and ate it. This tastes amazing sis, thank you very much.
Ikaruga: I'm glad you like it, that's called an eclair a french dessert.
(Y/n): Thank you very much sis. I heard the door open again.
Murasame: Yo I got you a present my lil bro.....oh come on why are you here, I thought you were too busy to even go to his birthday parties, you missed out three times!
Mother: Well she is here now, and that's all that matters.
Murasame: Yeah, yeah whatever!
(Y/n): Hey brother I got a game, I know I can destroy you in.
Murasame: Really what's that?
(Y/n): This! I saw him holding up a copy of Ultra Street Fighter IV. With this I know I can beat you.
Murasame: Hah keep dreamin little guy, I'm the best there is.
(Y/n): Wanna find out how good you are?

(Y/n): Let's go to my room, I saw the both of them proceed to his room, and later I heard Murasame scream.
Murasame: OH COME ON!, I DODGED THAT. NO THAT'S NOT THE MOVE I WANTED TO USE!

Mother: Can you please get them? It's time for him to eat his birthday cake.
Ikaruga: Okay I went up to their room, and told them, I saw that (Y/n) was winning 5-0. Hey time to eat the birthday cake.
(Y/n): Okay, later on wanna continue brother?
Murasame: Heh I ain't giving up just yet!
Ikaruga: (Seeing both of them like that, it's good to see them bond but I wanted that to be us. We played games together all the time. I know why he hasn't told me to go play with him it's because he's ignoring me. Well not anymore!) I proceeded to head downstairs with my two brothers coming along, and see that the cake was all set.
(Y/n) POV
After Ikaruga called us down to eat my birthday cake, I'm starting to wonder why now of all times did she choose to visit?
(Y/n): (I wonder what's wrong with big sis, lately she's been showing a lot of signs of sadness, and when she looks at me she's blushing even though she's not aware of it....Oh well I'll probably shelve that thought for later.) I saw the cake and it looked amazing, Can't wait to try this cake out! I got in my chair and everyone else got in theirs. They then proceeded to sing the Happy Birthday song.
(Y/n): You do know that song is copyrighted right?
Ikaruga: It is?
(Y/n): Yep as crazy as that sounds. But whatever thanks for the birthday, and sister dearest thank you for coming despite you being so busy all the time.
Ikaruga: Right...(Most of what he says is true. We did have off days but they were mostly used to hang out with my friends I couldn't live up to the promise I made to you. I'm so sorry.) Well time to begin.
(Y/n): Right time to eat! I noticed that my sister was holding back her tears, her eyes looked very watery like she wanted to cry. I'll ask her later. After eating I helped my parents wash and put away the dishes, then proceeded to go to my room, and found Murasame there.
Murasame: Let's do this!
(Y/n): Heh you're on! I picked Ken while Murasame picked Oni, and like last time Guren Senpuukyaku destroyed him.
Murasame: No fair! We kept playing until sundown.
Murasame: Man you've stepped up your game a lot. You've gotten more skilled than the last time we played.
(Y/n): Yep sure have thanks.
Murasame: Well time for me to get going I have to be ready for tomorrow, oh yeah here. He tossed me my gift.
(Y/n): Thanks big brother, I opened it up to see another game, and it was Jump Ultimate Stars for the DS. Cool I'm definitely playing as Train Heartnet, and Yugi Motou in this. Thanks again big brother.
Murasame: Heh glad you like it night. With that he closed the door to my room. I began to think what's going on with my sister so I decided to get up, but the door opened revealing to be my sister.
(Y/n): Hi sister dearest I've been meaning to see you again.
Ikaruga: I don't want to hear that term again, I don't deserve to be called that.
(Y/n): Why not? I saw her enter my room and sit on my bed.
Ikaruga: I haven't kept any of my promises to you, I said I'll come visit but I never did in the past three years, I said I would make it up to you but I didn't so long ago. I saw that she was beginning to cry. I'm sorry, so very sorry.
(Y/n): Sister dearest it's okay don't cry anymore. I know that throughout this those past years you were busy, and when you had time off you wanted it to spend time with your friends I understand that much.
Ikaruga: You knew!
(Y/n): I saw you with a bunch of girls hanging around the market place, but I figured I would be a nuisance so I decided not to go and talk to you.
Ikaruga: (I see, but the problem is I was sent there on a mission to beat some delinquents up to make the area safer.) I'm sorry I should've came back home. But it took me 3 years to finally notice I wanted to come back even though it was just for one day because I.....She gently caressed my cheek and brought my face closer to hers.
