Your POV

Your sitting in class thinking to yourself about what exactly Riser had told you when you and Issei had saved Rias from being forced to marry Riser

You: *sigh* Every since that BS with Riser went down, I haven't been able to get what he said out of my head, and to top it all off there are sometimes when I can't even control my Ki

Your thought were interrupted when Issei suddenly yelled at his three buddies for something they had told him, so you got up and walked over to where they were to see what happened

Issei: Don't fuck with me!

You: What is it now Issei?

Issei: Oh, hey Y/n, it's nothing, these two were just spreading terrible rumors about me

Aika: So Asia, as I ways trying to say before Y/n interrupted me, there are so many nice guys in this school, you don't have to have that jerk as a boyfriend

Asia: What do you mean.......boyfriend?

Issei: What do you mean that jerk? Anyways, I'm just helping her out for a few weeks since she's brand new to this country, I'm not her boyfriend at all

You had stopped paying attention because Saphira had spoke up about something

Saphira: Hey Y/n, I think I know why you are unable to control your Ki at some instances

You: Oh yeah, why is that Saphira?

Saphira: Due to the extreme amount of power you exerted during your battle with Riser, your body was unable to handle the amount of power and due to that, you won't have much control over your Ki for awhile

Suddenly, you and Issei both felt a serious flash of pain in your arms, you looked at Issei and he nodded and turned back to the others

Issei: So yeah listen, me and Y/n gotta go do something

POV change Asia

Issei told us that he had to go do something with Y/n but I wasn't exactly sure what that could be

Asia: So what do you two have to go do?

Issei: *whispering* Go see Akeno

Asia: Is it your arm again?

Issei: Yeah

Issei then walked out of the classroom and headed towards the ORC, after he left Y/n stood up and started to follow him

Asia: *whispering* Wait Y/n, I know what's wrong with Issei but why does he have to bring you along?

You: *whispering* Because I'm having an issue controlling my Ki and I think Issei knows Akeno might be able to help

Asia: Oh ok, I understand

POV change You

You walked out of the classroom and started to walk to the ORC, luckily that was the last class of the day for you so after this was over you could relax for a bit, just as you were about to walk out you heard Rias call out from behind you

Rias: Hey Y/n, what exactly are you doing out of class?

You: Well I've been having some issues with controlling my Ki lately after the battle with Riser and I was hoping Akeno would be able to help

Rias: Alright, but why couldn't this have waited until after class?

You: If I had stayed, I might have accidentally shot a hole in the wall, ceiling, or even killed someone

Rias: Alright, but if Akeno can't, go see Koneko, maybe she can relax you until you have complete control again

You: As you wish Rias

You had started to walk off again and you got about half way out the door until Rias called you again

Rias: Oh and Y/n, one last thing before you go

You: And that would be...

Rias: The ORC is having it's annual spring cleaning after school so we'll be meeting at Issei's house instead alright?

You: Yes, I understand, is there anything else you need before I go Rias?

Rias: No that will be all for now, you may go see Akeno now, she has just informed me that she's finished with Issei and is waiting for you, I'd hurry if I were you

Rias then walked away and you made your way to the ORC confused at what Rias meant by that, you shrugged off this thought and soon arrived at the ORC, you saw Issei walking out and you stopped him before he left

You: Hey Issei, how did it go? Akeno get your dragon spirit all fixed?

Issei: Yeah, she's a life saver, I told her about what you told me earlier today and she said that she might be able to help but there was no guarantee

You: Thanks for the heads up, now you go get some rest alright? I'll meet up with you guys after I make a trip back to my house

Issei: Alright, see you after school man

Issei ran off to go relax and hang out with his perverted friends while you made your way inside and knocked on the door to where the main lobby of the ORC was

Akeno: Come on in Y/n, I've been waiting for you

You walked in to see Akeno in a robe while sitting on the couch drinking some tea, she looked like she had just gotten out of the shower, you walked in and sat on the other couch across from her

Akeno: Now, Issei has already told me what you told him, I warned you that using the Kaioken should be used only when you absolutely needed to, although since it saved Rias I'll excuse it for now

You: Umm, thanks, wait how do you know this issue is revolved around the Kaioken? Oh wait Issei told you what I told him, I did I forget that in the span of 20 seconds?

Akeno: I don't know, but I think there is a way I can help you

You: And what way would that be?

Akeno: Well I could always suck the excess energy from your fingers....or you could have Koneko use a little trick that she only knows to restore your body to it's natural balanced state

You: Wait, Koneko can do something like that? How come she didn't tell me?

Akeno: I'm not sure, but why don't you ask her when you get the chance, now which one do you wanna do?

You: No offense to you Akeno, but I'll have Koneko fix me, I know you're great at magic and all but Issei told me that your way is not guaranteed to work

Akeno: None taken, I honestly forgot about that little detail, I'm glad Issei told you about that, well I'll have Koneko meet you at your house, until then, you go relax there and wait for her ok?

You: Alright, thanks for the help Akeno

Akeno: Anytime Y/n

You walked out of the ORC and headed towards your place, after about 20 minutes of walking you arrived at your house, you stared at it for awhile before going inside

You: Sure has been awhile since I've been here, well might as well head inside and make sure the place is clean before Koneko arrives

You walked inside and to your surprise, it was exactly how you left it, the place was totally clean so you didn't have to do anything, you headed to your room and went to your closet to change, as you were reaching for one of your outfits, something feel from the top shelf and almost hit you on the head

You: What the heck is that? I must have grabbed it by mistake when I was packing to move here from my old place, wait, this box has my name on it

You took a closer look at the box and it indeed had your name on it, although when you got closer you noticed the box said, to Y/n from Mom and Dad. You could not believe what was in front of you, a gift from your Mom and Dad just before they died at the hands of Riser and another mysterious person. You opened the box and noticed that there was a note inside from your parents, as well as a white cape that was also a hood, and a combat uniform that looked like it was made for you when you about the age you are now, you tried everything on and sure enough, everything fit you perfectly, the combat outfit comprised of a long sleeve undershirt, a gray robe, black long pants, white boots that go over the pants slightly, and a red ribbon to pull it all together, you put the cape on and looked at yourself in the mirror (If you guess the combat outfit, excluding the white hood cape, I'm describing here I'll give you a shout out in the next chapter, leave a comment if you know what it is, also multiple people can guess, I won't just give a shout out to just one person, anyone who guesses correctly will get one) You then read the note from your parents and as you did, you started to tear up

Y/n our son, this outfit we made especially for you, you should know that you have made us both very proud of you and even if we're not there with you in the future, we support you, live a good life son, not just for your self, but for us and the people who you care about and protect

After you had finished reading the note, you had tears rolling down your face, after awhile of just standing there, you heard a silent knock on your bedroom door, you looked over and saw Koneko standing there with a slight smile on her face, you smile back and walked over to her and pulled her into a hug which she gladly returned, after awhile you both separated and she seemed to be admiring your new outfit

Koneko: Hey Y/n, nice outfit, where did you get it?

You: It was a gift from my parents that I just found today, it's now the only thing I have left from them before they, you know...

You where then pulled into a quick hug from Koneko and after she gave you a quick peck on the lips to calm your nerves

Koneko: I know, don't worry, we'll find the other person responsible, I promise you that

You smiled at her and walked over and sat down on your bed and patted the spot next to you, she walked over and sat down next to you

You: So, Akeno tells me that you might be able to help me regain full control over my Ki with a little trick that only you seem to know, is this true?

Koneko: Yes, I was meaning to tell you but you seemed so focused on something that I didn't want to bother you until you felt like you really needed the help

You: Koneko, I could always use help, next time don't wait, ok?

Koneko looked up into your eyes and smiled slightly before replying

Koneko: Ok, I promise

You: Alright then, how does this trick of yours work exactly?

Koneko: All I have to do is hold you closely and I'll be able to restore your body to its natural state of balance, all you have to do is keep your eyes closed and relax for a little bit

She held you closely and you closed your eyes and started to relax, after awhile, what ever Koneko was doing was indeed working. You slowly felt yourself gaining full control of your Ki and soon enough, you had full control once again. You opened your eyes to see that Koneko was still holding you while resting her head on your chest

You: I'm assuming you're done, you just don't wanna move do you Koneko

Koneko: *giggles* Yeah, unfortunately we have to move because we have to head over to Issei's for the club meeting

You: True, I'll get us there fast, grab my hand and we'll get going

She grabbed a hold of your hand and you used your other hand and put to fingers to your forehead and searched for Issei's energy, once you found it you used instant transmission and you and Koneko instantly teleported to where Issei was, when you arrived, apparently you scared the crap out of everyone else who was there

You: Yo!

Issei: Dude, a little warning next time would be nice

Rias: Welcome Koneko and Y/n, glad you both could make it, I see that you have regained full control of your Ki again Y/n

You: Yeah, thanks for the help Koneko

Koneko: Anytime, although I'd prefer if I didn't have to do it consistently

Rias: With that out of the way we can begin the usually meeting, this months contract numbers are in, Akeno 11

Akeno: That's right

Rias: Koneko 10

Koneko: Sounds good

Rias: Kiba had 8

Kiba: I did

Rias: Three for Asia

Asia: Yay

Kiba: No way, that's really impressive Asia

Koneko: Especially since you're brand new at contracts

Rias: And finally, Issei and Y/n....zero

You: Not my fault, with everything thats been going on lately I've never been on official contract, all I know is what you and the others have told me about them Rias

Issei: I'm just an embarrassment

Rias: Oh shoot you're absolutely right Y/n, I completely forgot you've never had the chance to do an contract, how about this, Issei had been summoned tonight, why don't you go with him and try and get a contract, how does that sound?

You: That sounds doable

As you all continued the meeting as normal, soon there was a knock at the door and Issei's mom walked into the room

Issei's Mom: Sorry to intrude kids, I brought some snacks for you all to enjoy

Asia: Oh, welcome to the meeting mother

Issei's Mom: Thank you, now this little gathering is for the insult research club right?

Issei: She's always so close but so very wrong

Issei's Mom: Well I brought something that might inspire you all

Issei: Mom!

You looked up to see what she brought along with her, when you saw what she was holding you couldn't help but laugh a little, Issei's mom had brought books that were full of his baby pictures, but you didn't care to look through them so you put on your hood and stood against the wall with one foot against it while looking out the window. After awhile, everyone was still looking at Issei's baby pictures and then Kiba said something that caught your attention because it was slightly related to your parents murder

Kiba: This is a holy sword

Issei: What?

Kiba: It's nothing, never mind, great pictures man, thanks

You: He's hiding something, I can tell, I'll have to figure out what it is latter but right now Issei and I have a contract to complete. Hey Issei, we should get going to that summon request don't you think

Issei: Yeah, you go wait out front I'll be right there ok?

You: If you say so

You went outside of Issei's house and waited for about ten minutes before he came out with a bike

Timeskip to the summon

You: Explain to me again why I couldn't have just used instant transmission to get us here

Issei: Because screw you that's why, now I'm gonna knock you just stay quite while I do all the talking

You: Watch the tone Issei, you may be a friend but I will not hesitate to smack you half way around the world if you piss me off or use order me around with that tone again

Issei backed away from you a small bit before knocking on the door and sighing

Issei: They're probably gonna give me the whole 'What kind of devil rings the doorbell' crap again

Just then the door opened and you could immediately sense that they guy standing before you was a leader class fallen angle, you remained on guard while Issei was talking to him

Issei: What's up? You're the dude who summoned the devil right? Now I know this sound weird but there is another devil here with me who was sent along with me so you get two devils during one trip so lucky you, now if you're wondering why we didn't pop up out of one of these magic circles which is a lot cooler, you should now I'm still in transition

Summoner: Well you both might as well come in

Issei: Huh?

Summoner: What's the problem? You're both still devils right?

We both walked in and sat down on a very expensive looking couch, the place looked amazing but you weren't sure where this fallen angle got enough money to afford all of this, they guy then came back into the room with a bottle of alcohol

Summoner: Something to drink perhaps?

You: I wouldn't be caught dead drinking that stuff

Issei: Oh no thanks I'd love to but I'm still a minor, same goes for my friend here

Summoner: Really? That's a shame, I was hoping to have a partner to drink with

You: So you summoned a devil to have a drink with you?

Summoner: Is something wrong with that?

Issei: Not at all, the contract will be formed when I have completed your task and receive a fitting compensation in return

Summoner: Unfortunately all I have id Saki, you both ok with tap water?

Timeskip to after the contract

POV change Issei

Issei: I'm surprised you managed to get a contract on your first try Y/n, this is like my 20th try or something

You: Really? How is that possible, it didn't even seem that difficult to me

I was about to start explaining how every time I was out on a summon request something bad usually happens until my phone started to ring, when I looked at it it was a phone call from Rias

Issei: Oh it's Rias

POV change You

Issei was talking on the phone with Rias and after awhile he hung up and looked at you

Issei: We have to head to Rias, there was a stray devil that got an immediate execution order, so lets go Y/n

You: Alright, right behind you Issei

You put your new hood on and started to follow Issei, after awhile you both finally arrived at the place Rias had told Issei about over the phone

Issei: This looks like the place

Rias: Issei, Y/n, over here, I'm sorry I had to make you both come out here

You: It's fine, so there is something going on inside huh?

Koneko: No one can miss the smell of a rouge devil

Akeno: No kidding, we've been given orders to take it down before the night is over

Rias: Whatever's inside, we shouldn't try to fight it inside, so Asia you wait at the rear

Asia: Yes ma'am

Rias: Akeno and I will be waiting out here to take it down, so I want Koneko, Issei, Kiba, and Y/n to lure it outside so we can finish it off

You: We are so on this Rias, Aura Dragon

Issei: Boosted gear!

Yours and Issei's sacred gears deployed and you all walked up to the front door, although when you looked over at Kiba, you could tell he was a bit off

Issei: I wonder what it'll be, probably another crazy ass monster right?

You: What do you mean, another?

Koneko then just walked up to the steel door and with one powerful punch, broke it open and walked inside

Issei: Yikes, why can't you warn me when you do that?

Koneko: Lets go

We walked forward a bit until both you and Koneko stopped at the exact same time

Issei: Uh, Koneko, Y/n

Koneko: It's here

You looked over to see an innocent little girl step out of her hiding spot and then transform into a hideous monster that jumped up in the air and was about to start attacking, meanwhile Koneko was trying to get Kiba to focus on the battle while Issei was pointing out the fact that he was right about it being another crazy ass monster

Issei: See I told you so!

Koneko: Kiba focus what are you doing? Hey Kiba!

Kiba: Huh, sorry

While they were both distracted and not paying attention, the monster managed to land a hit on Koneko with some sort of acid that burned right through most of her clothes on the right side of her body, you looked away because you notice it was about burn away her bra, you then rushed at the beast angrily because it had caused pain to Koneko

You: Bastard!

You shot a Ki blast at it which caused it to stagger a bit before you turned to Kiba to yell at him, but Issei was already beating you to it

Issei: What are you zoning out for princess?

Kiba then rushed at the monster and with one slash of his sword cut the beast in half, although he dropped his guard and the top half managed to jump on him

Issei: Kibaaa!

However, Koneko managed to catch the monster just before it ate Kiba and the started to spin around before throwing it up to the roof

Koneko: Time to go

However the beast didn't go through the roof completely so you shot one more Ki blast at it which was just enough to push it through the roof and to weaken it enough for Rias and Akeno to finish off, you all then saw a blast of lighting come from the sky and hit the beast before it fell out of sight, you walked over to Koneko and quickly gave her your cape until she could get some new clothes

Koneko: Thanks Y/n

You: Your welcome, I'm just glad you weren't seriously injured, other wise I might have ended up killing that thing myself

You gave her a warm smile and then rustled her hair a bit which caused her to blush slightly, you all then walked outside to see nothing but ash from where the creature should have been

You: So that was a stray devil huh? Well I certainly don't wanna end up like that, now if that's all you needed Rias, I'd like to go rest at home

Rias: Yes, you may go home and rest for the rest of the night Y/n, I'd say you earned it after all

Koneko: Can I go with him?

Rias: Yes you may, Y/n is this alright with you?

You: Of course it is, come on lets go get some sleep Koneko

Koneko: Good idea, I'm exhausted

You both walked back to your house and when you arrive, you went upstairs to see if you had anything Koneko could change into, unfortunately you did not

You: Sorry Koneko, I don't have anything that would fit you, you could pick something out if you want and didn't mind it being a bit big on you

Koneko: I don't mind, just give me a minute to get changed

You grabbed your pjs and went into the bathroom to take a quick shower and then change, after the relaxing shower you changed out of the outfit your parents gave you and into your pjs, you then walked back into your room and saw that Koneko had neatly hung up the cape your parents gave you, you then hung up the rest of the outfit and walked over to your bed where she was waiting for you, you got into bed and laid down, as you did Koneko laid her head down on your chest like she usually did

Koneko: Thanks for letting me borrow your cape, I know it means a lot to you so I hung it up nicely for you

You: No problem, and thanks for doing that, I'm glad you know how important it is to me, almost as important as you are to me, I love you Koneko

You the gave her a kiss on her forehead and the started to slowly pet her hair which made her gasp and then start to blush

Koneko: I love you to Y/n, goodnight

You: Goodnight Koneko

As you closed your eyes, you thought about everything that had happened that had gotten you to where you are now ever since you transferred to Kuoh, as these thoughts flooded your mind, you felt yourself slowly drift to sleep, the thought of reuniting with Koneko and her becoming your girlfriend was the last thing that entered your mind before you went off to a peaceful sleep

Hey everyone, I hope you all enjoy that first chapter of the new volume, if you're wondering why it's a bit longer than the previous ones in volume one it's because I wanted to make it up to you all for this being delayed, also one last thing before I go, who do you all want to be the second killer of your parents?
