(Y/N) pov

     Surprisingly I forgot that there were no classes this week because of missions, so we can do whatever we want. Since I was up earlier than the rest I decided to hit the library about possible translation textbooks but find nothing. I head back to the dorm and knock.

Weiss: Come in.

     I open the door and see Weiss looking at the old manuscripts Ozpin gave me. I walked over to her and kiss her forehead.

(Y/N): Good morning, Weiss.

Weiss: Good morning, darling. Find anything at the library?

(Y/N): How did you know thats where I went?

Weiss: That's the first placed I would've checked too.

(Y/N): Your getting good at this.

Weiss: Learned from the best.

(Y/N): Sadly the library does not have anything that can help us translate this text.

Weiss: Well then there's only one thing to do.

(Y/N): We need to head to my house.

     Another hour rolls by before The others wake up and get out of bed. While the girls change, I let Prof. Ozpin know that team RWBY are headed back out while school is not in session.

Weiss pov back in the dorm

Yang: Do any of you sense something different about (Y/N).

Weiss: Not really, why?

Yang: He just seems happier.

Blake: I didn't know it was a bad thing.

Yang: No, no, thats not I mean. I mean he used become sad or distant whenever his family came up in conversation

Ruby: Like he somehow felt responsible for their deaths.

Yang: Yeah, and he carried this heavy burden on his shoulders, I am not seeing that anymore.

Weiss: Now that you mention it he did feel like the weight of the world was on his shoulders. He does seem to have had that burden lifted from him.

     Just then (Y/N) walks in and we all look at him to see what Yang was talking. He does seem more hopeful about things, and I can't help but smile at him.

(Y/N): Alright friends, we got the all clear from Ozpin. So lets pack up and mount up.

Everyone: Right!

Timeskip at the stables outside the city

(Y/N) pov

     As the team ready their horses I decided to let (H/N) ride in just a hardened leather skirt instead of his plate armor.

     We head out to the house and I am once again getting the feeling we're being followed. I shrug it off as paranoia. As we hit the river we stop to break and let the horses drink. While we're sitting I make an effort to cover our tracks try and lose our pursuers. Blake notices and as we head off she takes off behind us and goes up a rocky ridge.

Ruby: Where is she going?

Weiss: Maybe we're being followed and she went to check.

Blake pov

     I reach the top of the ridge and look out over the land while I did admire the view I did see movement in the valley. I take out my binoculars and take a closer look and with my cat eyes I can see farther and better. I see three figures on horseback, even with my eyes I can't quite tell who they are. I get back to my horse and race to my teammates. After a while I catch up next to (Y/N).

Blake: You were right to be suspicious.

Yang: Are they going to try and attack us?

Blake: Not sure. I got close enough that I could hear them but I couldn't see them. They are also on horseback though still about two hours behind us.

Ruby: Good job, Blake. How much further to the house (Y/N)?

(Y/N): What the matter fearless leader, too much for a tough girl like you.

Ruby: What are you talking about, I'm just sick of hearing Zwei whine. *Zwei then pops out of her pack*

(Y/N): Why did you bring the dog?

Ruby: Well, I can't exactly leave him by himself at school right.

(Y/N): Fine, we're almost there. It's just over this hill.

(Y/N) pov

     We come up over the hill to my old house, it was still burnt and half destroyed. Some memories flash in my mind but I shrug them off.

(Y/N): It's been a long hard days ride. We'll make camp in the old cellar at the back of the property. Yang can you and Ruby get a fire started, Blake secure the perimeter, and Weiss get the beds ready please.

RBY: Right!

Weiss: What are you going to do?

(Y/N): I'm going hunting.

     I head off into the woods and start looking for something for us to eat. I am gone for an hour and still no luck, until I come across a fresh rabbit den.

Timeskip back at camp
(A/N): I'll spare you the details of rabbit hunting.

     Everyone has eaten and are getting ready for bed, Ruby volunteers for first watch I just sit and rest against the wall. An hour later I get gently shook awake by Ruby.

Ruby: (Y/N), wake up it's your turn for guard duty.

(Y/N): Alright, I'm up. See anything while you were watching?

Ruby: Just the ocassional lone wolf. Although I did get feeling I was being watched.

(Y/N): Alright, get some sleep.

     I go to the entrance of the cellar and take a look before getting comfy and Ruby was right there is something or someone watching us. I think nothing of it and sit down for a long watch.

Timeskip next morning

     I wake up next to the smoldering fire and I sit up and stretch. I stand and walk to the end of the cellar and see Blake sitting there looking.

(Y/N): Morning.

Blake: Good morning.

(Y/N): See anything?

Blake: Nothing but the feeling that we're being watched.

(Y/N): Yeah, they've been watching all night. We'll deal with them when we're done here. For now go get breakfast started, I'll keep an eye out.

Blake: Any suggestions?

(Y/N): Check the rations in the cellar storage, should still be good.

Blake: I gotcha.

Blake goes and gets breakfast ready as the others wake up. I stand at the entrance when I feel a presence behind me, I turn to see Weiss walk up to me with a biscut and some dried meat.

(Y/N): Aww, thanks Ice Queen.

Weiss: Well, gotta makeup for lost time.

(Y/N): What lost time?

All of a sudden Weiss pulls me into a kiss, my surprise turns to passion as I wrap an arm around her waist. She breaks the kiss as the others gear up for exploration. We head inside the house to where I found the secret passageway, still closed. I try to budge it but nothing then I get an idea.

(Y/N): Wait here, I'll be right back.

I go out and grab (H/N) and lead him into the house. (H/N) becomes curious as to what's going on. I then sign to him to breakdown the doorway. He grunts in response and turns around. I line him up and then (H/N) starts bucking hard against the wall, on the third try (H/N) finally breaks open the doorway. I lead him to the fields and come back and look down the stairway. I grab a stick and then tear some of my clothing and wrap the stick.

(Y/N): I don't suppose you guys have any matches do you.

Ruby: No, but....*pulls a flashlight* will this help?

(Y/N): You might have meantioned that a bit sooner.

Everyone giggles as we follow Ruby into the cavern, what will we find when we reach the end...
