Ozpin pov

     I watch my scroll pad particularly Ruby Rose.

Weiss over the scroll: It's this way. I mean this way it's definitly this way...

Ruby pov

Weiss:..Ok it's official, we passed it.

Ruby: Why can't you just admit that you have no idea where we're going.

Weiss: Because I know exactly where we're going. We're going to the Forest temple.

Ruby: "Scoffs"

Weiss: Oh stop it. You don't know either.

Ruby: Well at least I am not pretending like I know everything.

Weiss: What is that supposed to mean?

Ruby: It means your a big stupid jerk and I hate you.

     Weiss and I glare and argue for the next few minutes. I then notice (Y/N) doing something. I get Weiss to shut up for a little bit. She then also looks at (Y/N).

(Y/N) pov

     I am looking at a stick I placed in the ground earlier as Ruby and Weiss were arguing. Then the two stop arguing.

Weiss: (Y/N) what are you doing?

(Y/N): Well while you two were fighting, again, I have been figuring out which way we need to go.

Ruby: How did you figure that out?

(Y/N): That sticks shadow is telling me which way is west and then I can tell which way is north. So, come on let's go.

     I get on (H/C), then Ruby and Weiss did the same. We rode north till we came to a clearing where there was some temple ruins. Then Ruby gets all excited and yells out.

Ruby: YANG!!!

     She runs to the blonde and hugs her. As we ride up I see that Yang is paired with Blake and Jaune is stuck in a tree. As Weiss and I get down from (H/N) there is a crash and an Ursa is running and flailing it's arms until an explosion appears behind as well as a "Yee Haa". The grimm slumps to the ground and a girl with a grenade launcher and a what look like a flashy ninja that looks exhausted.

Ninja: Nora, Please don't do that again.

     He then notices that she is gone and looks at the temple. She is eyeball the chess pieces.

Nora: Ooohh. I'm queen of the castle. I'm queen of the castle.

Ren: NORA!!!

Nora: Coming Ren.

Blake: Did that girl just ride in on an Ursa?

Yang and (Y/N): Uhhh...

     As I grab the king chest piece there is another crash on the other side of the clearing. Pyrrha Nikos comes running out of the trees with Deathstalker close behind her.

Blake: Did that girl just run all the way here with a deathstalker on her tail.

     Yang then explodes and yells.

Yang: Can everyone just chill out for 2 seconds before something crazy happens again!

     Out of no where the nevermore is back and is closing in on us.

(Y/N): We need leave NOW!

     I get on (H/N) everyone else gets their chesspiece and we make a run for it. We make it to the ruins next to the cliffs. Where a goliath is just standing there. Oh shit. Even better the nevermore and the death stalker  followed us. Awesome.

Jaune: What are we going to do?

(Y/N): There's only one thing we can do.

     I transform (W/N) into lance mode and shoot at the goliath.

Pyrrha: Are you insane?

(Y/N): I can distract this big one long enough for all of you to get to the cliffs and defend yourselves there.

Weiss: You can't take that thing alone!

(Y/N): JUST DO IT!

     Everyone looks at me shocked and concerned.

(Y/N): This my choice guys. I am willing to risk my life to make sure you keep yours. Now hurry, there's not alot of time.

     I tighten my grip on the reins as I stare at the goliath and activate my second semblance as (F/C) aura shines around me. I yell as loud as I can and charge.

(Y/N): FOR REMNANT!!!

Weiss pov

     As (Y/N) charges off the rest of run to the cliffs with the nevermore and the deathstalker chasing us. We make it but then the nevermore smashes through the ruins and separates the two teams.

Jaune pov

     We are now trapped. Sheer drop in front deathstalker behind and I think I just peed a little. No matter I had to get it together if we were going to survive. Pyyrha and I blocked the grimms pincers allowing Ren to get on the stinger. As Nora shot twice at the grimm Pyyrha and I jump back. Pyyrha then threw her spear at the deathstalker. It reeled back in pain and threw Ren off. I saw the stinger dangling. That gave me an idea.

Juane: Pyyrha.

Pyyrha: Done.

     Shs threw her shield and cut the stinger making it fall onto it's head.

Juane: Nora. Nail.

Nora: Heads up.

     Pyyrha launches her in the air. She then comes carening down on the grimm driving the stinger into it's head, killing it and launching Pyyrha and I to the other side onto solid ground. As I get up I hear.

(Y/N): JUANE SWORD!!

Ruby pov

     As the nevermore flys around us I get an idea that might work. I turn to Weiss.

Ruby: I have a plan. Cover me.

     As Yang shoots the nevermore in the face and knocks it to the ground she and Blake use Blake's Gambol Shroud to create a line from one pillar to another. I jump up on the string like a slingshot. As I pull back Weiss uses a glyph to catch me.

Weiss: Of course you would come up with this idea.

Ruby: Think you can make the shot.

Weiss: Hmm. Can I.

Ruby: Can you...

Weiss: Of course I can.

     Weiss then launches me while I use my Crescent Rose to keep up the speed. I then use Crescent Rose to pin the nevermore against the cliff. I then start running up the side with the help of Weiss's glyphs and decapitate the grimm once and for all.

Weiss pov

     As we look at what Ruby did I couldn't help but feel proud of her. That was dashed away as we hear the goliath roaring. We turn to see whats going on. And I couldn't believe what I was seeing.

(Y/N) pov

     As Juane throws me his sword (H/N) runs straight at the goliath. I transform (W/N) into sword form and shout to (H/N).

(Y/N): Let er' Buck!

     (H/N) charges as hard as he can towards the goliath. The goliath sees us coming and swings its massive head at us. We miss the swing and go between the legs and using each sword I then slice at each leg. This causes the goliath's legs to buckle and fall to the ground. (H/N) then turns and runs back at the goliath. I then stand on the saddle and jump off onto the goliath itself. Using the swords as climbing axes I make my way up its back I then run up to it's neck. With all my strength I bring my sword down and stab the grimm's neck. It roars in pain as it finally falls to the ground for good. I jump off as the grimm turn to dust.

Everyone: Whoa. That was awesome.

Timeskip back at the acadamy
(Y/N) pov

Ozpin: Juane Arc, Lie Ren, Pyrrha Nikos, Nora Valkyrie. This day forward you will Team JNPR.

(Applause)

Ozpin: Blake Belladona, Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, and Yang Xao Long. This day forward you will be Team RWBY, lead by Ruby Rose.

(Applause)

     I look at Weiss as she has a suprised and disappointed face that she was not chosen as team leader.

Ozpin: Finally (Y/N). You did not find any partners during the trials. Normally I would have to fail you and send you home....

     I look down in shame and sadness.

Ozpin:...but you also grabbed the golden king piece and single handedly took down a goliath. So I am going to place you on a existing team however you will not be allowed to participate int any team tournaments.

(Y/N): I think I can live that.

Ozpin: Very well then. (Y/N) you are hereby the fifth member of Team RWBY. Congratulations young man.

(Cheers and applause)

     I stare at the crowd in shock and amazement as the crowd goes nuts. All of a sudden I am tackled by Ruby. Her excitment snaps me out of shock as I smile and congratulate my new team.

Timeskip After the ceremony
(Y/N) pov

     I walk (H/N) back to small pen he nibbles my hair to get my attention.

(Y/N): What was that for?

(H/N): *Neighs playfully*

(Y/N): I know I'm excited too. We are at a real huntsman acadamy and part of a team. I'm just thinking about getting you a larger space so you can relax easier. Maybe in a week but for now lets get that armor off you and get you fed.

RWBY: Hi (Y/N).

     I jump at the sound and sight of my team in front of me. I calm down after my heart is starts back up.

(Y/N): Why do you feel the need to do that.

(H/N): *Neighs mockingly*

(Y/N): Really, you too.

Ruby: Good evening teammates.

(Y/N): Do you need something from me.

Weiss: We were thinking about helping you take care of (H/N).

Blake: After all he put in alot of work today. It's only fair.

(Y/N): Alright, Yang can you help me get (H/N)'s armor off, Weiss grab the brushes, please, Ruby get my treat bag, Blake if you wouldn't mind getting the water....

Ruby: YES, TREATS.

Weiss: Very well.

Yang: This armor looks heavy, I like it.

Blake: Water...why did it have to be water.

     As I get (H/N) some hay for the night I look back at my team, my new friends. Then we went back to our dorm and there are only four beds. Great. I opt to sleep on the floor. Weiss protests but I am adament as I take off my armor and weapons. As I get done brushing my teeth I wait for everyone to seemingly fall asleep before falling asleep myself.

Weiss pov

     As (Y/N) goes to his sleeping bag for the night I look up at him and think about the events of yesterday. As I start to sleep.

Weiss: Goodnight (Y/N), and thank you.

     I blush as I smile and finally fall asleep.
