Chapter Five: Sour Feelings
Out in central park
Raining
Your POV:
"Please, have you seen Jeremy Fitzgerald?" Vincent pleaded two women. The girls shook their heads. "Are you sure? "
"We're sure. Sorry. I hope you find him, " the younger woman then grabbed the older woman and tugged her away.
"Vinny, your scaring me," I whispered in Vincent's ear. "Let's go inside.." Vincent sighed softly and turned to me. He rested his head on my chest.
(Wait. Let's use a bit of our time to think about how tall reader-chan is. He used to be 5'7. Vincent is 6'2. Now that he is in a different, taller body. He must be 6'5 or 6'4. Yes, my friend. You are so much closer to achieving your goals and being Slenderman. Congrats.)
"You'll catch a cold in this weather," I mumbled. I held the umbrella over us as I stared down at Vincent.
"I'm not leaving until I find Jeremy," Vincent grumbled. I sighed to myself and pressed my lips against his.
"Alright," I whispered after I pulled away.
"You act like you don't want to see him come back, " Vincent pouted. I turned and smirked.
"He's only competition," I mumbled, so Vincent couldn't hear. Vincent stared at the ground before grabbing me and tugging me towards the Central Park.
"Baby, the Central Park is closed, " I grumbled. I heard Vincent grunt. I looked up to see Vincent's shirt snagged on a barb wire. I sighed and walked up to the fence, pulled at the shirt, and watched it rip infront of me.
I took the torn shirt and laid it ontop of the barb wire. My legs soon began climbing. I hopped over the barb wire and landed on my feet.
My eyes switched to Vincent's face. He had a cut on it. "Vincent, are you okay?" I asked, kneeling down to take a look at the cut..
He groaned and said he was alright. I nodded and licked the blood off his cut. His cheeks turned light purple as I licked and kissed his wound.
"I could have done that myself," he whispered, laying his head back on the fence.
"Huh?" I asked.
"I could have fixed my own cut," he sat up and stretched. "Why are you being so nice to me after I got you killed? "
I smiled and kissed him. "Because," I began. "I know you'd do the same for me. " the rain now trenched us, making Vincent sneeze. "Your catching a cold, Vincent-kun."
"I'm fine, " Vincent sniffled and got up. "Let's just keep searching." soon there was a loud shift, like the Earth was settling underneath us.
"He's here. Take my jacket, " I mumbled, pulling off my jacket. I watched Vincent snuggled up with my jacket.
"Thank you, " he whispered. We began walking. I made sure most of the rain wasn't hitting Vincent, thus making me soaked and cold.
I put my umbrella in a way for it to stand up and made Vincent sit down. "Stay here, I'll look for him, " I mumbled, putting my hands in my pocket.
As I walked, I heard growling, and gasped as I was attacked by a German Shepard. It's slob got all over my arm as it bit my wrist.
I started to scream a bit, watching my blood mix with the dog's slob. I squinted and used my feet to kick the side of the dog.
I soon growled and grabbed the dog's throat and bit it's ear. It whimpered and howled.
Soon an officer ran infront of us. I bit harder on the dog, noticing the good taste of its blood. It whimpered louder until the officer pried me off of it.
He put me in hand cuffs and tugged me towards the car. "Get off! " I growled. The officer tugged harder.
I gasped as he tazed me in the stomach, making me cry out. I fell to the ground, face-first. My breathing hitched as I noticed two eyes staring.
It was Jeremy. I slowly shifted and reached out towards him. "Bastard, help!! " I yelled at him. Jeremy stared in shock.
I got quite when I heard the officer groan. Then I heard a thump. My in shock body was lifted up and on someone's shoulder.
"You okay? " Vincent asked. I closed my eyes and stifled out a breath.
"And for you, " Vincent turned and noticed that Jeremy was gone. Vincent panicked and quickly started to run, making me feel sick.
"Mmph!" I gasped, trying to hold in the vomit that was on the verge of being on the back of Vincent's shirt. I gripped the back of Vincent's soaked shirt and pulled at it, giving him a warning. My stiff fingers cracked as I balled up my fist.
"What's wrong? " Vincent pulled me off his shoulder and made me stand up infront of him. I pushed him back, fell to my knees and let it all out. I panted as I felt more sick just by looking at my barf covering the ground.
I looked at my arm and tried to find the bite marks. 'They aren't there?' I thought to myself as I looked for the bite. I saw one bite mark, but it quickly healed.
My eyes widened. I tried wiping off the dried dog blood from my lips and chin, but it didn't work.
I put my bloody hands on my had and covered my face with my arms. Vincent walked up to me and kneeled down. "You were a scared little boy and now look at you. Stop tucking your tail under you and stand up!"
I look forward to see a figure. Vincent soon gave me a strange look. "Why do you smell like that? " he asked.
"D-do I smell bad?" Vincent shook his head and placed his nose on my neck.
"You smell quite good, actually," he whispered. He picked me up and put me on his shoulder. I blushed as he slapped my butt. "Let's go home, " he smiled.
"Alright," I mumbled. I didn't noticed it stopped raining. I dont think Vincent even realized it. All I knew, was that something is weird about my new body. Maybe I could find out more if I just dig deeper...
