Late n' Busy (Epilogue)

A/N: You guys we really serious about this Epilogue. Alright, I'll give it to you. Also this is much shorter than the other chapters.

Time Skip- Tuesday

3rd Person POV

The news of Y/N and Yang breaking up had spread like a wildfire. Questions had been thrown at the both of them yet none of them answered any. When Y/N walked into the Chemistry room, he had been nearly tackled to the ground by a blur of pink and orange. "Y/N are you okay?" Y/N closed his eyes and released a soft chuckle "Yeah, I'm doing fine. Now...could you let go of me?" Nora squinted her eyes for a few moments before releasing her grip "Okay, I believe you. So...what happened?"

"It's... complicated."
"Like Science complicated?"
"Exactly."
"Then I won't poke around then. Science hurts my brain!"
"No kidding Nora. No kidding." As both students took their seats, they were surprised to see that their tests had been on their desks.

"You can flip them over if you'd like." Nora and Y/N looked at each other for a moment before turning their tests at the same time. "T...T-This is..."

"An A?!?!" Mr. Robbie smirked and walked to his desk "I was surprised as well. You must've had a great tutor for that to happen. Perhaps it was Mr. Ren...or was it Ms. Nikos?" Nora's jaw dropped as she flipped through her packet "N-Not a single question wrong!" Y/N couldn't help but thank Pyrrha for all the help she gave them. He had to get her something in return. That was mandatory.

With Yang

"Yang are...are you alright?"
"Ruby, I'm fine. I don't need you asking me too."
"I'm... I'm just making sure. Did you guys need to take a break?"
"...No. No we...we didn't click like we used to."
"I'm sorry Sis."

Ruby gave Yang and long hug before walking back to her desk. What Ruby didn't see was that there had been tears in Yang's eyes. What Y/N said to her yesterday hit her hard. She really was a horrible girlfriend. A very selfish one at that. As she wiped the tears away, Mr. Port entered the room.

Time Skip- End of the Day

"Alright, I'll see you later Jaune. And hey...Weiss wasn't the one anyways. I know you'll find that special someone. It just takes time." Jaune nodded and smiled sadly "Thanks man. I... I should just worry about myself for now and when I'm ready I'll... I'll get back into the dating scene." Y/N put his fist out for a fist bump and Jaune gladly returned it. As Y/N walked away, he had seen Ruby walking towards him with her hands in her pockets "Hey Rubes. What's up?"

"I... It's about Yang. I know that you two broke up and all, but..."
"But?"
"Could you tell me why?"
"That, little rose, is top secret."
"...Did she cheat on you with Sage?"
"Look Ruby, I gotta-"
"She did... didn't she?"
"..."
"Y/N... please talk to her. She isn't trying to show it, but... she's hurting."

The concern in Ruby's eyes made Y/N sigh. He was trying to avoid Yang, but... apparently that wasn't happening. "Where is she?"

"She wants to meet you by the football field. I... I'll tell her that you're coming."

9 Minutes Later

Y/N slowly made his way up the bleachers to see Yang sitting there with her hood up. "You usually don't have your hood up unless you're really upset." Yang didn't respond as her gaze had been focused on the football field. Y/N sat beside her and looked in the opposite direction "When...when we were at the diner you said...that you didn't regret cheating... correct?"

"... Correct."
"I'm guess you changed your mind when you heard what I had to say." He looked back at her to see her shiver.
"Yes..." For a whole two minutes they sat in silence. Neither of them looking each other in the eye. Y/N slowly stood up, but Yang was quick to grab his hand "P-Please stay. I..."

"Do you not have anything to say?"
"I-I do."
"Then why haven't you said it for two minutes?"
"I... I was afraid you'd... I don't know."
"..."
"When you left I... I realized how much of a bi... selfish girlfriend I was being. I... I didn't know what you were going through. If... I was a better girlfriend I... I would have understood."
"...What about Sage?"
"He...he tried to comfort me, but I... I just pushed him away. I haven't talked to him since."

Y/N sat back down and looked Yang in the eye. He could see the tears forming and as they fell, he sighed. This was hurting her more than it was hurting him. "Could...C-could we...be a-" Y/N put his hand up and shook his head "No. Yang, you... you damaged our relationship. How do I know you won't do it again?"

"I-I p-"
"Promising means nothing. When we starting dating we both promised to never cheat on each other, yet here we are. Sitting on the bleachers together while the both of us are in different emotional states."
"P...P-Please..."

More tears fell, but Y/N wiped them away "Yang I'm... I was never the guy for you. If... If Sage wants to be with you... give him a chance." Yang couldn't hold them back anymore. Her tears were flowing like rivers and he held Y/N close "Please don't leave me!"

"Yang... I'm sorry."
"I-I just want another chance..."
"... That's what time is for..."

Time Skip-Y/N

"I still can't believe you had a thing for me."
"Have Y/N. I have a thing for you."
"Still, it's crazy."
"Is it?"
"... A little."

Pyrrha rolled her eyes as she took a sip of her milkshake "So...how did the conversation with Yang go?" Y/N looked out the window with a frown dawning his face "She... she's doing worse than I was. She had to face the facts, but...in time... she'll get better."

"Do you think she'd..."
"No. Yang wouldn't do that. She knows that if she did... she'd leave Ruby alone for the rest of her life."

There had been a brief silence.

"Could I ask you something?"
"Sure thing."
"You said you wanted to wait for a while before you go back to dating, right?"
"Right."
"How long?"
"I'd say a few weeks. Why?"

Pyrrha smirked and leaned over the table, planting her lips on to his. As they departed lips, Pyrrha giggled "I'll be waiting." She then got out of her chair and walked out the door, though when she did...she swayed her hips. "...Holy shit."
