3rd Person POV

Y/N couldn't sleep last night. Hell, how could any guy? All he knew was that Yang was with Sage...a guy that he didn't really talk to a lot. Why would she leave with him? Were they friend and Y/N just didn't know about it? Or...was there something else? Certain...thoughts began creep into his mind. What if Yang didn't love him anymore due to him never being there? What if she and Sage...no. No she wouldn't do that. Would she?

As he sat up, he felt his phone vibrate under him. Once he picked it up, he was surprised to see that Pyrrha had been calling him.

"Hello?"
"Hey Y/N. You sound...tired."
"Yeah I... I couldn't get any sleep last night."
"How come? Is this test really bothering you?"
"No..."
"Then what is it? Family troubles?"
"I... It's Yang. She's probably pissed that I didn't come to her game."
"Well... she'll eventually get over it. Yang knows how much you love her and-"
"Am I a horrible boyfriend Pyrrha?"
"...Y/N, don't think like that."
"I never make time for Yang. I'm always busy with work or trying to catch up on school. Each time she needs me I... I'm never there."
"... What if...you quit your job?"
"Then I won't be able to help my family pay the bills."
"Oh..."

"Look Pyr, I'm... I'm gonna rest up for a bit. I kinda need it. I'll talk to you later." And with that, Y/N hung up.

With Pyrrha

When Y/N hung up, Pyrrha couldn't help but frown. "I... I have to do something."

Time Skip

"Hey Pyrrha, what's up?" Pyrrha decided that it was best to meet Yang face to face. "Nothing much. Though I'm... I'm a bit concerned about Y/N." The look Yang gave Pyrrha was quite unusual to her. Was that a look of... distain?

"Oh really? What happened to him?"
"Well he...he thinks you might hate him since-"
"He didn't come to the game? Pyrrha, do you know what it's like to be left alone by the guy who says he loves you? To be stood up on every date?"
"I... I don't, but he tries to be there for you. Last night he-"
"Last night? You were with Y/N last night?"
"Well...yes. Both Nora and I."
"He was spending time with you instead of coming to my game?"

Pyrrha could hear the anger in Yang voice "W-We were just studying." Yang narrowed her eyes and clenched her fist "And what else? Fucking around?" Pyrrha shook her head as Yang stood up "N-No! Nora needed help the most! That's why we were taking so long."

Yang continued to glare at Pyrrha, but then she began to chuckle "You know what Nikos? I'm glad he missed my game." Yang sat back down and put her feet on the table "Wait...what?" Yang smirked and put her hand behind her head "I said that I'm glad he missed my game. If he didn't... I wouldn't have had the best time of my life last night."

"...What did you do?"
"What didn't I do?"
"Yang..."
"And you know what else Pyrrha? I don't regret a single thing I did."
"What did you do Yang?"
"I was fucked by a real man last night Pyrrha. That's why I didn't answer Y/N's calls. I was too busy riding him and having fun."
"Y-You cheated on Y/N?!"

Yang smirked and nodded "What about it? He never made time for me anyways. Sage... he's a real man. In fact he was the one who showed me how much of a horrible boyfriend Y/N was." Pyrrha couldn't believe what Yang was telling her. She willingly fucked another man with absolutely no regrets. "You... Y-You're a horrible person!"

"Not really Pyr. I'm just doing what a girl has to do." Yang took her foot off of the table and stood up "Bye bye Pyrrha~!" As Yang walked off, Pyrrha put her hand over her mouth. She couldn't believe that Y/N did all that worrying...just for someone who was unfaithful. "I... I need to tell him." When she reached for her phone, she stopped for a moment. What if Y/N didn't believe her? After all, she didn't have any proof to give him and even if he did believe her that would...break him. She...she didn't want to put that on him after she lo... cared for him a lot.

If she told Ruby then that would cause a divide in the family. Ruby would despise her own sister. If she told Nora there would be a fight on sight. She...she couldn't tell anyone about this and Yang knew this. Pyrrha didn't know what to do. She had the information and yet she couldn't tell anyone in fear of chaos.

She stood up and walked out the door of the diner "I... I'm at a loss."

Time Skip- Monday

Ever since Yang told Pyrrha of what she did, it's been bothering Pyrrha to her core. When she saw Y/N in the hallway she wanted to tell him then and there, but...she knew he'd break. "Hey Pyrrha!" She nearly jumped when Nora put her hand on her shoulder "You okay?" She nodded slowly, but Nora could tell that something was really messing with her. "Come on Pyrrha, you can tell me!"

"I... I-I can't."
"Pyrrha please..."
"I'm... I'm sorry but I can't."
"Pyrrha if this is really bothering you and I can go somewhere that's not around anyone."
"..."

Nora frowned and gave her a hug "If you wanna talk I'm here, okay?" Pyrrha nodded and Nora let go "Okay then. I'm gonna head to First Period. See ya."

With Y/N

As Y/N walked to his locker, he had seen Yang talking to Sage. "They must be friends. Funny, she never told me." When he started to unlock his locker, he couldn't help but hear Sage say "So the diner down the street?" He continued to unlock his locker as if he didn't hear their conversation.

"Sure thing. That's if I'm not busy like...a certain someone."
"Cool. See you there Sun Dragon."
"I will slap you if you call me that again."
"Will you though?" She rolled her eyes as Sage walked off to class.

Y/N didn't show it, but he was hurt by that comment Yang made. She's still pissed about that. Yang walked straight passed him and straight to class without saying a single word to him. Okay she's really pissed at him. "Let's just hope that Pyrrha's tutoring helped. At least I'll have something."

Time Skip- After School

Throughout the whole school day, neither Pyrrha or Yang said a single word to Y/N and this made him think that both of the girl had some sort of anger towards him. As he walked out the building, he had seen Pyrrha walking across the bridge, alone. "Pyrrha!" She stopped walking for a minute before she turned around "Wait up."

The closer Y/N got...the more he noticed that Pyrrha had been shaking "Pyrrha, you okay?" She could hear his concern clear as day and yet her mouth stayed shut "Pyr?" She bit her lip and took him by the hand "Y/N I'm... I'm so sorry!" He could see her tears forming and this caused his eyes to widen "Pyrrha what are you talking about?" She let go of his hand and pulled him in for a hug "Uh...Pyrrha you're scaring me."

"I... I-I've been keeping something from you."
"Okay?"
"It... It's about Yang." She had his full attention.
"What happened?"
"She... Remember when I called you on Saturday?" He nodded. "Well I... I wanted to help you with your situation so I called Yang and we met at the-"
"Diner down the street?"
"H-How did you know?"
"I didn't. I... I heard Sage and Yang talk about it this morning."
"..."
"Pyr?"
"I need to show you something." She took his hand and walked towards the diner. "I don't understand. What's so important about this diner?" Pyrrha stayed silent for a bit until the diner came into view "It's where I learned the truth." Y/N raised an eyebrow, but he didn't say anything after her statement. Once the two got closer, Y/N had noticed Yang talking to Sage and these two seemed...happy. "You never finished your story Pyrrha. You said you learned the truth, but what did you mean?"

The universe answered Y/N with the worst answer possible. Yang leaned over the table a bit and kissed Sage on the lips. Y/N could feel hit body shatter as he watched the girl that he loved kiss another man. What got to him even more was that she was the one who went for it first. "I'm... I'm sorry, but you needed to see it yourself."

"..."
"Originally I... I didn't want to tell you about this since I knew it would break you, but throughout the day I... I realized that it's better to show you."
"..."
"I... If I showed you now...you wouldn't be stuck in a relationship with a liar...a cheater."

A few tears started to slip out from Y/N's eyes as he looked upon the scene. "When...when I asked you if I...was a horrible boyfriend you never answered yes or no. Could...could you answer me this time?"

"Y/N-"
"Please. I would like to know..."
"I... No. No you weren't." Y/N then made his way to the diner with a cold look in his eyes. Though this didn't stop the tears from coming. Once he opened the door, he walked over to the seat where Yang and Sage were sitting "Yang... he's here." Yang looked stood up and sighed "I'll see you tomorrow then." Yang turned around to see Y/N with his fist clenched "Before you even say it... I don't regret it."

"..."
"Do you think I'd beg and plead for you to forgive me? Or do you think I'd say "Y-Y/N, it's not what it looks like?" That's stupid. When you didn't show up Friday, I was beyond upset. The man who told me he loved me abandoned me. Again. Sage showed me how much a of a terrible boyfriend you were. You never made time for me. You never-"
"I don't come to hear a bimbo ramble. I came to let said bimbo know how much of a selfish bitch she is." Yang's eyes went wide along with everyone else's in the diner.

"I'll admit it. I'm far from perfect. Yeah, I'm always late and yeah I'm always busy, but what you need to understand is that I work for my family. I help my single mother every single day ever since my Dad passed away. When you complained about me not buying you anything for Valentine's Day I just said nothing. The truth was that I bought my little sister a gift that she's been wanting since Christmas. When Mom didn't get her anything she was devastated, but I worked my ass off just so I could get her something. So while you complain and groan about me not being at one damn game, think about the things I could be doing. I studied so I could at least bring my grade up to a C. When have you ever done anything for me Yang?"

Yang stayed silent while Y/N glared at her "My exact thoughts. Nothing. A good boyfriend would make time for his girlfriend. But a better girlfriend would not only deserve it...but understand what her boyfriend has to go through."

Y/N took one look at Sage before flipping him off "As of today, we're through." Y/N then walked out of the diner, leaving the whole diner stunned. Yang however, was seething "You...You fucking ASSHOLE! I HATE YOU! I HATE YOU! I HATE YOU!" Tears were streaming down her face as Sage went to comfort her "I HATE YOU Y/N L/N!!!!"

Time Skip- 5:30 p.m. (If you've played or seen gameplay of Spider-Man PS4 imagine Y/N being Peter and Pyrrha being MJ)

"Y/N, I'm hungry!" Y/N smiled as his younger sister walked into the kitchen "I know Anna. The food will be done shortly." As Anna huffed, there had been a knocking at the door "Coming!" Y/N walked up to the door and looked through the door hole to see Pyrrha standing there with her hand in her pockets. He opened the door with a small smile and stepped aside "Come on in."

As Pyrrha walked in, she took her jacket off and put it on the coat rack "Pyrrha!" Anna ran up to Pyrrha and gave her a large hug which Pyrrha returned "Hey Anna! How've you been?"

"I've been well! Today we made turkey hands in art class!"
"Oh really? I bet you had the best one."
"Uh huh! Mr. Barr said so!"
"That's fantastic!"
"Sure is. Since I did so well, Y/N is making my favorite food. Spaghetti!"

Pyrrha turned to Y/N with a small smile "Didn't know you could do that."

5 Minutes Later

"So...you really went off, huh?"
"Yeah I... I even called her a..."
"Bimbo. Didn't think I'd hear you say all of that."
"That's the first time I went off really. Felt good to just get it out there."
"... How're you feeling Y/N?"
"I... I've been better. I don't blame her for getting angry, but...we could've talked it out. Yang wasn't really a talker however."
"..."
"Something on your mind?"
"I... I never really had the courage to say this, but after hearing what you told me I... I realized that it's best to say this and get it off my chest."
"Oh?"
"I... Ever since we were in Middle School I... I had a small crush on both Jaune...and you."

Y/N tilted his head and his eyes widened just a bit "Yeah. I... I thought that it was just a stupid crush, but over the years it developed into something more."

"So you still have a thing for Jaune and me?"
"N-No! I got over Jaune in the 8th grade. He...he loved Weiss way too much."
"No kidding. Would not shut up about her hair." The two chuckled softly, but Pyrrha continued "When you and Yang started dating I was...pretty jealous. Yang always got with the guys and I... I hated that she got you too." Y/N looked away for a moment before clearing his throat "Well this...has been an interesting day so far. Can't wait to see what happens next."

"Yeah...this doesn't...change anything does it?"
"Not at all. It's just... I'm gonna have to do some thinking before I head into another relationship."
"I completely under....wait did you..."
"Like I said, I've got some thinking to do."
"...Does that mean you returned my feelings?"
"Maybe."
