[No one's POV]
Two Bullheads fly by Beacon, lead by a passing large and unnerving ship as it descends upon a landing pad. In the tower veiled behind the clouds, Ozpin and Glynda look beyond the scene, through the window of Ozpin's office.

Glynda: Ironwood certainly loves bringing his work wherever he travels."

Ozpin: Well, running an academy and a milatary makes him a busy man. But yes, those are a bit of an eyesore.

A chirping beep sounds repeatedly. Ozpin turns to see a hollow-message' Access Requested' on his desk.

Ozpin: Come in.

The doors slide open to reveal James Ironwood, as Ozpin approaches to greet him.

Ironwood: Ozpin!

Ozpin: Hello, General.

Ironwood: Please, drop the formalities. *shakes Ozpin's hand* It's been too long. And Glynda! It has certainly been too long since we last met.

Glynda: Oh, James! *gives a personable wave and then drops all pleasantries* I'll be outside." *walks out of the room*

Ironwood: Well, she hasn't changed a bit..

As Glynda walks out the room, leaving the two to talk, a woman in casual clothing was leaning against the wall next to her.

???: Hello, Ms. Goodwitch!

Glynda: AH!*turns to see y/n's mother Ares* Oh. Hello, Ares.

Ares: Long time no see, how have you been?

Glynda: Fine. Why are you-

Ares:Today is a lovely day, isn't it?

Glynda: Yes! Now, why are-"

Ares: Ozpin called me.

Glynda: He did?!

Ares: Yes, imagine my surprise when he called me, after all these years.

Glynda: Well, that's just great! First James, now you.

Ares: Ironwood's here?

Glynda: Yes. *walks pass her* If your here to see Ozpin, i suggest you hurry up, before James puts an idea in his head. *walks away*

Ares: Hehe...she hasn't changed one bit. My boy is gonna be in a surprise..

[With Ozpin and Ironwood]

Ozpin: So, what in the world has brought you all the way down from Atlas? *turns to his desk, while picking up a mug and kettle, pouring as he speaks* Headmasters don't typically travel with their students, for the Vytal Festival. *offers cup to ironwood*

Ironwood: *takes it* Well, you know how much I love Vale this time of year. *produces a canteen from his inside coat pocket and pours its contents into his mug* Besides, with you hosting, I thought that this might be a good opportunity for us to catch up.

Ozpin: *sits and pours himself some coffee, while walking around his desk, kettle and a new mug in hand* I can appreciate the quality times between friends, however, a small fleet outside my window has me concerned.

Ironwood: Well, concerned is what brought them here.

Ozpin: I understand that travel between kingdoms has become increasingly difficult.

Ironwood: Oz, you and I both know why I brought those men."

Ozpin: *sips his mug* We are in a time of peace. Shows of power like this are just going to give off the wrong impression.

Ironwood: But if what Qrow said is true..."

Ozpin: *emphasizes this as he holds up an index finger* If what Qrow said is true, then we will handle it tactfully." It's the Vytal Festival. A time to celebrate unity and peace. So I suggest that you not scare people by transporting hundreds of soldiers halfway across the continent."

Ironwood: I'm just being cautious.

Ozpin: As am I. Which is why we will continue to train the best Huntsmen and Huntresses we can.

Ironwood: Believe me, I am.

Ironwood turns and walks away. He stops near the door and looks back at Ozpin.

Ironwood: But ask yourself this: Do you honestly believe your children can win a war? Let alone..him?

Ozpin: I hope not. And for him, y/n has done nothing wrong to Atlas, yet you caused the people he used to call family to neglect him.

Ironwood: I'm trying to prevent that thing..from being unleashed in Remmant.

???: So..causing him to have mental pain was a plan.

Both men turned their heads to see Ares herself in Olympian clothing..

(What Ares is wearing)

Ironwood: *narrows eyes at her* Ares..

Ares: Why must you call me with that attitude, James?

Ironwood: I don't have to explain to you.

Ares: *chuckles* Same as always..

Ozpin: Now, now, no fighting. I believe you were going somewhere, James?

Ironwood: Yes..ill be going now.

The Atleasian general started to exit the office, leaving Ozpin and Ares to themselves..

Ares: So.. does he know about the Grimm king emerging?

Ozpin: I believe not, but I have a feeling your son would meet him soon.

Ares: Yes..i pray that he doesn't hurt him.

Ozpin: *sighs* I do too..

[Timeskip to library]

Inside the Beacon Academy library, Team RWBY are shown playing Remnant: The Game. Much to the bored faces from Weiss and Blake..

Ruby: Hmmmmm.... All right... All right! *Points at Yang* Yang Xiao Long, prepare your kingdom for battle!

Yang thrusts her elbow down as she balls her fist.

Yang: Bring it on!

Ruby: I deploy the Atlesian Air Fleet!

She slaps her card down on the table. Yang feigns a look of shock.

Ruby: Looks like I get to fly right over your Ursai and attack your walls directly!

She then proceeds in making noises like airplanes flying and bombing as she makes a bird with her hands.

Yang feigns indignance as she points at Ruby.

Yang: You fiend!

Ruby: And since Atlas is part of Mantle, my repair time is only one turn.

Ruby peaks her head up. She gives a look of surprise as Yang laughs arrogantly as she raises a card.

Yang: Pretty sneaky, sis, but you just activated my trap card Giant Nevermore! If I roll a seven or higher, fatal feathers will slice your fleet in two!

Ruby: But, if you roll a six or lower, the Nevermore will turn on your own forces!

Yang: That's just a chance I'm willing to take.

[Y/n's POV]
Me, my team and Team JNPR are sitting together as Yang and Ruby banter on about the game with Weiss and Blake sitting with them. Ren and Pyrrha are studying, and Nora is drooling as she sleeps, while Jaune reads a comic book.

Y/n: *looks at Nora* Haven't been here for more than fifteen seconds..and she's sleeping.

Ren: That's Nora for you..

Ruby: Nooooo!!! My fearless soldiers!

Ruby, unfortunately, had evidently fallen for another one of Yang's traps. John and Kyle are being obviously disturbed at their due to the noisy ruckus Ruby and Yang are making, which i noticed.

John: You girls.... I don't know if you know this, but aren't you supposed to be quiet in libraries?

Kyle: Leave it at that, Claire. It's hopeless reasoning with them when they're totally into it.

Kyle says as he takes John's knight piece on the chessboard with his queen piece.

Yang: Eh, most of them were probably androids.

Ruby: Goodbye my friends, you will be avenged.

Yang: Not until I draw my rewards! Which are double this round thanks to the Mistral Trade Route!

Ruby: Bah!

Nora: *snores and talks in her sleep* Oh. Have pancakes.

Yang: Oh, and what's this? The Smugglers of Wind Path?

Pyrrha clears her throat and then confiscates a comic book Jaune is reading, trading it for a textbook. Jade turns towards their direction and giggles when she saw Jaune got scolded.

Jade: *thinking* Poor Jaune

Ruby: Bah! Bah, I say!

Yang: I say, it looks like I'm taking two cards in my hand!

As Pyrrha reads Jaune's comic, a Nevermore player piece is tossed over Jaune's shoulder. Another piece bounces off of his head. Suddenly another board piece came sailing towards Jade. Using my instincts, i caught it with ease before it could even hit her.

Ruby: Have you no heart? *collapses on the table, crying* Nooo!

I sighed, then stood up from my seat and went over to team RWBY to givr them their game pieces

Y/n: You girls dropped this.

I place the board piece on their table and was about to get back to where i sat, until i felt someone grabbed onto my arm, preventing me to do so. I turned my head to see a currently weeping Ruby.

Ruby: Y/n! Yang is being unfair!

Y/n: Huh?! How so? I mean she won fair and square, right? Unless you're saying she's chea---

Yang: My dear brother y/n, Are you accusing me of cheating?!

Y/n: Calm down, It was just a rhetorical guess!

Yang: Good enough. Well, Weiss, it's your turn.

I grabbed a seat from Team JNPR's table and sat beside Ruby, who still continues to cry, and watched how the game is being played well.

Weiss: I have... absolutely no idea what's going on.

Yang slides up beside her and puts her hand on her shoulder.

Yang: Look, it's easy! You're playing as Vacuo which means that all Vacuo-based cards come with a bonus.

Weiss: That sounds dumb.

Yang: *starts looking through Weiss' cards* See, you've got Sandstorm, Desert Scavenge... Oh, oh! *pulls up a card to show Weiss* Resourceful Raider! See, now you can take Ruby's discarded Air Fleet-

Ruby: Nooo!

Yang: -and put it in your hand!

Weiss: Okay.

Yang: And since Vacuo warriors have an endurance against Natural-based hazards, you can use Sandstorm to disable my ground forces and simultaneously infiltrate my kingdom! *points a finger at Weiss* Just know that I will not forget this declaration of war. *pulls away and returns to her seat*

Weiss: And that means...

Ruby: You're just three moves away from conquering Remnant!

John: Oh dear. Here we go....

Kyle says that as he, john and jade began watching. After hearing the newfound information, Weiss then stands up while a thunder clap accompanies her overjoyed psychotic laughter.

Weiss: Y-Yes! Fear the almighty power of my forces! Cower as they pillage your homes and weep as they take your children from your very arms!

Jade: Huh, she's really getting into this..

Yang: Trap card...

Weiss: Huh?

You: Now that was short lived....

Yang begins shuffling the pieces on the board, Weiss' pieces disappearing in a puff of smoke.

Yang: Your armies have been destroyed.

Weiss then slumps in her chair as she begins tearing up.

Weiss: I hate this game of emotions we play.

Ruby suddenly hops into Weiss' lap, who is also crying.

Ruby: Stay strong, Weiss! We'll make it through this together!

Weiss: Shut up! Don't touch me!

Despite saying this, Weiss hugged her back. Yang puts her arms up behind her head, as she signals Blake that it's her turn.

Yang: Alright Blake, you're up!

Blake: Oh, um, sorry, what am I doing?

Yang: You're playing as Vale, trying to conquer the Kingdoms of Remnant!

Blake: Right.

Jaune: *Approaches the table* Hey! Can I play?

Ruby: Sorry Jaune, we've already got 4 people.

Weiss: Besides, this game requires a certain level of tactical cunning that I seriously doubt that you possess.

Yang: Uhh, you attacked your own naval fleet 2 turns ago.

Jade: And Yang just basically defeated you with a single card, somehow.

Weiss makes an annoyed sound at their statement.

Jaune: Bring it on, Ice Queen! I'll have you know that I have been told that I am a natural born leader!

Weiss: By who? Your mother?

Jaune: A-and Pyrrha!

Pyrrha: *waving* Hello again!

Jaune begins begging with both of his hands folded together.

Jaune: Come on, let me play your hand for a turn!

Weiss: I'm not trusting you with the good citizens of Vacuo!

Kyle: *Muttering* At least he couldn't do much worse that you already are now....

Weiss: Excuse me?!

Kyle: Nothing!

Jaune: Why not? You've trusted me with way more important stuff before. I mean, you told us all that Blake is secretly a Fa-

I saw Pyrrha quickly put her hand over Jaune's mouth to stop him talking and finished his sentence.

Pyrrha: "Fun loving person! Who we all admire and respect!"

Blake looked at me and the others with a cross look on her face.

Y/n: "Could you make it any more obvious?"

Pyrrha: I have no idea what you mean,

Jade: "Riiiiight"

Jaune: "Anyway. Ladies, enjoy you battle"

???: "Sup losers"

[No One's POV]
Y/n and everyone else turned around and saw Sun standing next to a blue haired guy with goggles on his head. Y/n had met Sun on the night at the docks. He seemed like a nice guy to him, but definitely a trouble maker...

Ruby: "Hey Sun!"

Sun: "Ruby, Yang, Blake, y/n, Ice Queen"

Weiss: "Why does everyone keep calling me that?!"

Y/n: "You will understand one day...hopefully..."

Sun: "I never got the chance to formally introduce you to my old friend"

Blue haired guy: "Uhh, aren't libraries meant for reading?"

Ren: "Thank you!"

Nora: "Pancakes!"

Nora then fell back to sleep and Ren continued reading. Y/n turned back to Sun and his friend.

Sun: "Shut up, don't be a nerd"

Blue haired guy: "Kch Kch Kch Kch! Intellectual okay? Thank you"

Neptune: "I'm Neptune"

Weiss: "So Neptune...where are you from?"

Neptune: "Haven"

Neptune moved over to Weiss and continued.

Neptune: "I don't believe I caught your name, snow angel"

Weiss blushed a bit and replied.

Weiss: "Um, I-I'm Weiss"

Jaune: "Are you kidding me?!"

Neptune: "Pleasure to meet you"

John: "Well, good luck Neptune"

Neptune: "Why?"

John patted him on the shoulder

John: "She has you in her sights. She wont stop until yo-"

John suddenly felt a sharp pain on his foot and looked down to se Weiss crushing his foot with her shoe.

Weiss: "What was that Rayner?!"

John: "N-nothing!"

Weiss: "That's what I thought!"

Weiss then gave a final push on his foot applying more pain and then took her shoe off your foot. Neptune laughed nervously as he sat down and inspected the damage.

Sun: "I never took you as the board game playing type"

Sun had been talking with
Blake who had been acting weird all day....more than usual.

Blake: "Right, well I think I'm done playing actually...i'll see you guys later..."

Blake stood up from her chair and walked off out of the library.

Nora: "Women"

Y/n: "I'm not even gonna try to make sense of what you just said Nora"

Sun: "Whats up with her?"

Yang: "Dunno, she's been acting weird all day"

Ruby: "Not just all day. Shes been like this since the incident at the docks"

Y/n: Blake..

You: "I'll talk to her"

i stood up from my chair, which gained the attention of the rest of my team and everyone else

Ruby: "You sure?"

Y/n: "I will admit that I find it hard to understand you girls sometimes, but I think I understand what Blake is feeling better than most right now. You guys just chill here and play your game. I'll be back in a flash"

I then walked out of the library and ran to catch up with Blake. I was able to catch up with her in a courtyard as she continued to walk back to the dorm room.

Y/n: "Blake! Wait up!"

Blake turned around surprised to see you.

Blake: "What do you want y/n?"

Y/n: "I want to talk. Lets go to your dorm room"

Blake: "I would like to be by myself"

Y/n: "And I would like to talk to you..please.

Blake looked at me annoyed, but eventually gave in.

Blake: "ok"

Y/n: Nice. *takes out scroll and texts Jade that he'll meet you guys back at the dorm* Let's go

[Time skip to dorm room]*No one's POV*

Y/n had been in the dorm room with Blake for a while. He wanted to wait for her to start talking so he wont appear too forceful. Unfortunately, because of this it had become night until Blake finally spoke.

Blake: "What is it you want to talk about?"

Y/n: "You've been acting odd and I think I know why.."

Blake was a bit surprised at his directness, but replied quickly.

Blake: "I haven't been acting odd"

Y/n: "You have been avoiding us ever since what happened at the docks. Your worried about Roman aren't you?"

Blake: "How did you-"

Y/n: "Look, I may not understand completely since i've never been part of the White Fang....but I kinda get what your going through. So I want to talk about it so you can get it off your chest"

Blake: "I don't need your help!"

Y/n were shocked a bit at Blake's sudden outburst. She looked away from you out of regret and annoyance.

Y/n: "After you found out that I was a Faunus myself...I thought you were going to hate me. I had kept this from you girls and never told you about my other abilities

Blake still looked away, but you knew she was listening.

Y/n: "....instead, you were fine with it. You stayed my friend and I even started dating my step-sister's. I didn't deserve your kindness but you gave it to me anyway"

Blake then turned to look at you as you continued.

Y/n: "So let me help what's happening to you..please"

Blake: Y/n..

The door to the dorm room then suddenly swung open and the rest of team RWBY joined you and Blake.

Yang: "Argh, we shoulda never let him play!"

Ruby: "You're just mad cuz the new guy beat you"

Blake stood up to leave the room.

Ruby: "See, if you had just attacked when I told you, none of this would have happened"

Weiss: "Stop"

Weiss pointed towards Blake who was just about to leave before Weiss spoke to her.

Weiss: "Lately you've been quiet, antisocial and moody"

Yang: "Uhhh, have you met Blake?"

Weiss: "Which I get is kinda your thing, but you've been doing it more than usual. Which quite frankly, is unacceptable. You made a promise to me, to all of us, that you would let us know when something was wrong"

Y/n: "Blake, all we're asking is to help as well

Blake sighed out heavily and looked at y/n and the others.

Blake: "I just...I don't understand how everyone can be so calm"

Ruby: "You're still thinking about Torchwick?"

Blake: "Torchwick, the White Fang, all of it! Something big is happening and no one is doing anything about it!"

Yang: "Ozpin told us not to worry. Between the police and the huntsmen I'm sure they could handle it"

Blake: "Well i'm not! They don't know the White Fang like I do!"

Y/n: "You're right about one thing. If I know anything about Roman, he holds all the cards. The police wont be able to get to him unless he wants them to"

Weiss: "Okay, between blowing up nightclubs, stopping thieves, and fighting for freedom. I'm sure the four of you think you're all ready to go out and apprehend the ne'er-do-wells"

Ruby: "Uhh, who?"

Weiss: "But let me once again be the voice of reason: we're students. We're not ready to handle this sort of situation!"

Ruby: "Well, yeah but-"

Weiss: "We're not ready!"

Blake: "And we may never be ready! Our enemies aren't just gonna sit around and wait for graduation day! They're out there, somewhere planning their next move and none of us know what it is but its coming! Whether we're ready, or not!"

Ruby: "Okay, all in favor of becoming the youngest huntresses and hunter to single handedly bring down a corrupt organisation conspiring against the kingdom of Vale....say 'aye'"

Yang: "Yes! I love it when you're feisty!"

Weiss: "Well, I suppose it could be fun"

You: "I'll take any opportunity to knock some sense into Roman"

Ruby: "None of you said 'aye'"

Y/n: "Aye?"

Ruby: "Guess its the thought that counts. Thanks F/n"

Blake: "Alright then, we're in this together"

Ruby: "Lets hatch a plan!"

Yang: "Yeah!"

Ruby: "I left my board game in the library!"

Weiss: "We're doomed"

Ruby: "Ill be right back!"

Ruby then ran out of the dorm room in the direction of the library.

Y/n: "Well Blake, was that really so hard?"

Blake: "I guess not. Thanks guys"

Yang: "No problem"

[In the hallway]
As ruby was running, she then accidently slamed into someone, falling to the ground.

Ruby: Oo-oof! Oh g-!" She looks up." Sorry. Are you okay?"

Emerald:" I'm fine.

Emerald offers her hand to Ruby, as Mercury stands besides them.

Ruby: Oh, right..sorry. *takes emeralds hand and pulls herself up*" Um, I'm Ruby! Are you new?"

Cinder: *walks towards the group* Visiting from haven actually.

Ruby stares for a minute and Cinder stares back.

Ruby: "Ooh! You're here for the festival! But exchange students have their own dormitory."

Mercury: i guess we just got turned around."

Ruby: Hey, don't worry, it happens all the time. *notices Mercury and Emerald walk past her* Uh, your building is just east of here."

Cinder: Thanks. *walks past ruby* Maybe we'll see you around."

Ruby: "Yeah, maybe! *sees the trio take their leave* Oh, uh, and welcome to Beacon!

Cinder grins evilly and her eyes glow menacingly. Who know what she'll plan.
