Musashi Miyamoto X Male Reader

P.O.V. [Name]

I took a deep breath as I stood up. As I did I saw a figure staring at me. She was on her knees sitting on a small mat. I jumped slightly seeing this and then almost immediately calmed down when I realized who it was. "Musashi, I told you that you don't have to wait for me to wake up," I said as I looked at her, mainly because every time she does it scares me.

"I know master, but what kind of samurai would I be if I just abandoned my lord while he was sleeping? Especially when you ask me to try to keep those three away from you," Musashi asked as she looked at me.

"Ugh, your right," I said as I slowly sat up. I guess I don't really have the right to complain after asking her to handle such a difficult task. After all, there's no telling when they'd come after me.

"Don't be so upset master, you should be happy that you've got so many admirers," Musashi said as she looked at me and nodded.

"I know," I said as I began to stretch a bit. I used to think having so many women chase after me would be awesome and then it actually happened and now it's more annoying than anything else. "I don't mind Serenity so much, but the other two can be a bit overbearing at times," I said as I looked at the female in front of me.

"You can go ahead and start heading to breakfast," I said as I opened my closet.

"Of course master!" She said as she stood up and began to walk out of the room. She usually didn't stay behind since this was usually when I changed. I remember her staying behind once, and her face was red with embarrassment the rest of the day. She couldn't even bring herself to look at me directly for almost a week. So I'm glad that she's starting to learn the hidden meaning behind a lot of what I say.

When I was finished I went through my morning routine and then began to walk out of the room. When I did I made my way towards the dining hall and began to eat with Musashi, Mash, and a few others. "So master what plans do you have for today?" Musashi asked as she looked at me.

"I don't know. Mash what are we doing today?" I asked as I looked at Mash.

"According to Roman and Da Vinci, there are no singularities or other disturbances of any kind. So it seems as if we have a free day, senpai" Mash said as she looked at me. I was a bit surprised hearing this and looked at Musashi.

"I guess we got a free day," I said as I looked at her. Musashi nodded with a smile hearing this and continued eating rather happily. I took a bit more time to start eating again. I stared at my food a bit lost in my own thoughts. What am I even supposed to do on a free day? Ever since I came here it's more or less been nonstop action and now that we have to stop and take some time off I'm not entirely sure what I should do.

It's not like I'm super fit so training is out of the question, and my mana pools are laughable compared to some of the others. I've got no idea what I'm supposed to do while I'm here. What if we have another free day tomorrow? What am I supposed to do then? Do I just do nothing and wait? That's boring, and I-"Hey can you hear me? Master?" Musashi's voice brought me back and looked up at her.

"Are you okay? You've been staring at your food for a while. Does it taste off? Do you think it's poisoned?! Should I kill the chef?" Musashi asked as she grabbed the handle to her sword. I shook my head hearing this.

"No, I was just a bit lost in thought is all," I said as I began to eat this time a little quicker. As I did, I could see that the room is now much emptier compared to before. Even Mash had left the room while waiting for me to finish. "Musashi, what do you want to do today?" I asked as I looked at her. When I said this she looked at me a bit surprised.

"I'd like to go to town today!" She said with a smile as she looked at me.

"Alright, but not wearing that. You'll stick out too much," I said as I looked at her.

"Understood, I shall change right away!" She said as she stood up and began to run down the halls. I had bought a few different outfits for her just in case we got sent to a few different eras. It was always so inconvenient to try to buy them in the past especially when we didn't have the same currency that they used. After I finished eating I stood up and began to walk out of the room.

It didn't take long for Musashi to return wearing an outfit. It was simple, to say the least. She was wearing a plain white button-up blouse, and a short blue skirt. "What do you think master?" She asked as she turned around in place. "How do I look?" She asked as she looked at me. I blushed a bit as she did her skirt was a little short so when she turned it gave a rather revealing look at what was beneath.

"You l-look great," I said with a smile and she nodded as she looked at me. We then began to slowly walk out of the building and as we did I looked at her. "Musashi," I said as I looked down a bit. "What do you think of us? Like our relationship I mean?" I asked as I looked at her. She seemed surprised to hear this and I couldn't blame her the question did come out of nowhere. She took a moment to think about it before answering.

"As I've always said my weapon is this katana, your weapon is me. Whether it's used until it breaks or to cherish tenderly is up to the owner. Our relationship is something like that right?" Musashi asked as she looked at me.

"I guess, but I've never really thought it that way. I've always liked to think we were a bit closer than that," I said as I looked at her. Then again that might have just been me getting a little too attached to her. She was the first servant that I ever summoned after all.

"Really? I don't think so," Musashi said as we continued down the hall together. "When I was alive, my swords were what kept me from being killed on the battle-field. So, of course, I cherished them as much as I could, I don't think it's an exaggeration to say that I valued their existence more than some of the people that I knew. Do you not feel the same about me?" Musashi asked as she looked at me.

"Well when you put it like that, I guess they are pretty similar," I said with a smile. I did treasure her, and it's no stretch to say that I liked her a lot more than some of the others that I knew in my lifetime. It took us a bit to arrive at the nearest city, and when we did I could see several lights and decorations in the streets.

"Heheheh. I see signs of a festival. But every bit of life should be treasured. Come, let's give in to temptation!" Musashi said as she grabbed my arm and began to lead me down the streets. I guess we picked the perfect time to arrive. I could see several different places offering food and jewelry of different types. Some were clearly just meant to be souvenirs, while others did look a bit interesting.

"Oh look, master!" Musashi said as she walked over to a stand. "I've never seen this time of food before," She said staring at the small treats in front of her. I smiled seeing this and paid for almost half of the pieces he was selling. I knew there was no way she'd be satisfied with just a few pieces. She smiled and tried one before lighting up rather excitedly. "Delicious!" She said with a smile as she began to eat the pieces I bought rather quickly.

It didn't take her long to spot another food item, and then another, and another. We spent most of our day like this with her seeing different kinds of foods that she wanted to try and me buying them for her. I didn't mind that much since I had stored up quite a bit of money from my time at Chaldea. The day slowly passed and eventually, Musashi began to slow down on the food that she was eating.

As we walked down the streets she stretched clearly relaxed after having eaten so much. "That was great, thanks for the meal master!" She said with a smile and nodded.

"Sure thing," I said as I looked at her. "Oh look!" Musashi said as she pointed at a building. "It's a hot spring! Let's visit it! I'm curious to see what hot springs from this era are like," She said as she looked at me.

"Are you sure?" I asked as I looked at her and she nodded. "Alright then," I said as we walked into the building and I paid for us to enter. I entered the men's side and began to undress storing my clothes somewhere safe before coming back out. As I did I saw several people looking around and looked to the side to see that there was no wall separating the men's side from the women's side. I sighed seeing this and began to walk towards the water. I can only imagine how Musashi is going to react.

After a bit, I saw Musashi come out, and almost immediately her face turned a bright red when she realized the baths were joined together. However, couldn't seem to bring herself to say something and instead just went to the water. I could see several men staring at her as she did something that admittedly made me a bit upset. Then again it's not like there's a lot I could do to stop them.

After all, Musashi was a lot stronger than me so she could probably handle herself. I sighed as I looked up at the sky, it really was nice here. There weren't too many lights in the town so the stars were out in all their glory tonight. After a bit, I felt someone move to my side and looked a bit alarm and tensed up a bit when I saw it was Musashi. "M-Musashi," I said as I looked at her.

"Sorry master, but I thought doing this would get some of the other men to quit staring. Plus I'd rather be close to you than close to some man I don't know and will probably never see again," Musashi said as she looked at the male beside her. I nodded hearing this and stayed with her like this for several hours. I quickly lost track of time and before I knew it there weren't many of us left, it was mostly just us and a few couples that were lingering around.

As I looked up I thought about what I was going to do. This was almost the perfect time, and if I didn't do it now I might never get a chance like this again. So I steeled my nerves and looked at Musashi. "Musashi," I said causing her to looked at me. "I love you," I said as I looked at her causing her face to become a bright red as she looked at me.

"M-Master, you shouldn't say things like that so freely. E-especially when others are around," She said as she looked at me clearly embarrassed.

"I know but . . . I do . . . I love you, Musashi. I can't think of a better moment than now to tell you," I said as I looked at the female in front of me. She seemed a bit embarrassed hearing this and shifted around in the water a bit uncomfortably. I won't lie, I figured this was probably going to happen. But even so, I'm not upset that I told her because I felt like she should know how I feel. It's better to get my heart broken and then move on rather than carry a torch for her in the vain hope that we might be together.

"I . . . I must admit that I . . . f-feel the same," She said slowly getting quieter as she said it. However, I was able to hear it just fine. I turned to look at her and smiled and she blushed a bit as I did. "I-it's okay . . . if you want to k-kiss me I mean," She said as she looked at me. I was a bit surprised by this I thought she would want to wait until others weren't around for that but I nodded nonetheless hearing this and leaned down to kiss her gently.

Her lips were soft and I could feel her tense up a bit as I did but eventually she relaxed into the kiss and began to kiss back a bit. It was a heated kiss, but it was still passionate. I didn't want to convey any lust to her and risk scaring her off. It was just a sweet and gentle kiss that I was using to tell her how I felt about her. After a bit, we eventually broke the kiss and she looked at me blushing a bit as she did.

She then began to lay one me with a smile once again and I smiled as I looked up at the stars. I guess this free day was a bit more eventful than I thought it would be. I really am a lucky guy.
