P.O.V. [Name]

I looked at the female in front of me panting heavily. I was training with Erza again and while I was struggling to stand up she wasn't even sweating yet. In fact, she hadn't even requiped into anything other than her usual suit of armor yet. I always enjoyed training with Erza I just wished she wasn't so strong, or that I was a little stronger. I'm happy she's always willing to spar with me but each time we do I can feel the gap between us becoming wider.

I was about to cast another spell towards her but as I did my knees gave out and I fell to the ground. When I did Erza walked over to me. "Are you alright?" She asked clearly concerned for me and I felt my face heat up a bit from the obvious embarrassment. It was nice how she always doted over me, I just wish she wasn't so dramatic about it.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Thanks," I said with a smile as I looked up at her. She offered me a hand and I took it as she helped me stand up.

"Come on, let's go to the guild," Erza said as she looked at me. I nodded hearing this and began to follow her to the guild. When we arrived I looked around the guildhall and I smiled seeing all of the other members of the guild.

"Hey Erza," Someone called out. When we heard this we both turned to see who was calling out for her and saw Natsu waving at her. "What are you waiting for? Come and join us!" Natsu said as he looked at her. Erza smiled and walked over to them. I sighed a bit disappointed hearing this. I missed when Natsu and Gray were too scared to ask her to come and stay with them. When she did I sighed and began to walk over to Mirajane.

I always felt a bit more at ease around her and was even able to talk to her a bit easier than some of the others. I think it's because she reminds me of Erza in away. She was one of the first people we met when we came here and joined the guild so it was only natural that I spent a lot of time with her as well. "Hey," She said with a smile as she looked at me with a smile.

"Hey," I said with a smile as I looked at her.

"So how did it go?" Mirajane asked as she looked at me and I sighed.

"It was fine I guess, I just wish she wasn't so strong. She says I'm doing better but every time I spar with her she never gets tired or shows any signs of actually trying. So if I am actually making any progress I can't tell because she's just so much stronger than me," I said getting a bit discouraged. I was fairly confident in my abilities as a mage, but knowing that Erza and so many others were just leagues ahead of me was really discouraging at times.

"I see, well don't be too down. It's not an easy task trying to keep up with Erza. There's a reason she's the strongest female in fairy tail," Mirajane said as she looked at me. This did make me feel a bit better and I looked up at her.

"Thanks," I said with a slight smile.

"So did you tell her?" Mirajane asked and I shook my head.

"No," I said as I looked at her.

"Why not?" She asked as she looked at me and I remained silent mainly because I didn't really have an answer to her question. I've been planning to tell her for so long and I keep putting it off. "You know, eventually you're going to have to tell her. If for no other reason than you just want to get it off your chest," Mirajane said as she looked at me and I sighed.

"I know, it's just . . . well . . . it's so obvious. I get all shy around her and blush around her more than any other person. I even stutter more around her. It's like Juvia and Gray. If she doesn't know then I don't see why not. I think she does and that she's just too nice to bring it up. We've been friends for years and I don't want to mess that up in some vain hope that we could be more than just friends," I said as I looked at the female in front of me.

When I said this Mirajane smiled and even chuckled a bit. "I think, you're just overthinking things. Trust me, tell her and you'll feel much better for it," Mirajane said as he looked at me. I sighed hearing this and nodded as I looked up at her. I waited for the guild to close and as it did I walked up to Erza and looked at her.

"Hey Erza, mind if I talk to you for a bit?" I asked as I looked at her and she shook her head. The two of us then began walking down the streets together and while we were talking none of it was the main reason I wanted to talk to her. "Hey, Erza?" I asked as I looked at her. When I said this she looked at me a bit curious. She really was beautiful, and seeing her smile like this . . . it always made me happy.

We've been friends forever, and she's always been protective over me. I really don't want to lose that. If anything she probably sees me as a little brother, I shouldn't get my hopes up. "Mind if I spend the night with you?" I asked, changing my mind about confessing my feelings to her. When I said this Erza smiled and nodded a bit.

"Of course you can," Erza said as she looked at me. This was nice, and I'm not going to risk screwing it up. I'm sure that she'll find someone she loves and move on. Maybe that'll be what finally breaks this little crush of mine and forces me to go after someone else as well. At least then I'll be able to talk to Erza without looking like an idiot most of the time. When we arrived I walked in and began to sit beside her on the couch.

We usually stayed up pretty late if we didn't have plans the next day. She had just got back from a mission so I know she's not going to be busy for a while. I watched as Erza requipped into her pajamas and she looked at me. A long and awkward silence then fell over us as we sat next to each other. I really didn't have anything planned for tonight. "I'm glad you're here actually. There's something I wanted to tell you," Erza said as she grabbed my hand and looked at me.

"There's something that I wanted to tell you," Erza said as she looked at me. Erza then took a deep breath and looked at me. "I love you," She said as she looked at me. As she did I felt my heart sore at what she said. "I understand if you don't feel the same I really do. I just . . . I thought you should know was all," Erza said as she looked at me.

"I love you too," I said immediately pouncing on this chance that fate has given me.

"R-really?" She asked moving closer to me and I returned her gesture and before long our lips were touching. I had thought about saying those words so many times and confessing to her. The thought of her rejecting me and permanently messing up our relationship. But in the end, I didn't even need to confess because she ended up confessing to me. Our kiss was nice, sweet, and gentle.

This might not be the situation I imagined our first kiss being in but it was still perfect nonetheless. After a few minutes, we eventually broke our kiss and we stared at each other for a moment before leaning in for another kiss. As we did this kiss became much more heated. I could feel Erza holding my face gently as we kissed with no intention of letting me go. It started with our lips, then the tips of our tongues, teeth, and finally with our entire mouths.

"I've . . . I've been waiting for this for so long," Erza said as she looked at me. Really?
