P.O.V. Zelda

I was looking at Link he said he had something he wanted to discuss with me but I can't believe what he just said.

"Link how could you even suggest that?" I asked looking at him in disbelief.

"Sorry Zelda but it just seems a lot easier than me having to save you all the time." He said looking at me.

"Yes but really you couldn't have gotten him to come here instead. Now he can kill me and get away with it." I said looking at him.

"Look he said that you can bring six guards of your choosing with you. I of course had already planned to go so as such I am one of your six guards." Link said looking at me.

"Fine you can choose the others I don't care who they are just make sure they've completed basic training." I said looking at him. He nodded and left to go find the men I had told him to.

I then sighed and walked outside and saw that the carriage that was support to take me to the dark realm was already standing there. As I walked there I noticed that there houses weren't white like ours they were instead a solid black color.

I sighed and got in the carriage. As we went there Link looked at me. "I actually have some advice for you." He said looking at the ground.

"Speak Link." I said looking at him.

He nodded and began to tell me something. "Alright well the Dark Prince doesn't really much care what you say about his kingdom. Although there are a few subjects you may want to avoid. Such saying the light kingdom is better than the dark kingdom and asking about his family. Other than that you're free to do whatever." He said looking at me.

Yeah free to do what I want except marry a man I actually love. I thought as the landscape suddenly became very dark and the a giant castle came into sight.

As it did I saw a figure in front of the castle looking at the carriage. He had [H/C] hair and [E/C] orbs. I have to admit he's not at all what I expected the dark prince to look like. In fact if anything he would qualify as one of the cute guys in my kingdom.

As I stepped out of the carriage I could feel his eyes boring holes directly into my soul. "Hello the my name is princess Zelda." I said looking at him.

"I am known as prince [Name]." He said looking at me. As we walked into the castle I could once again feel [Name] giving me a death glare into the back of my head.

As we walked in [Name] picked up his pace just a bit so he would be in front of me. I then saw a night in front of us. "This is my first knight [BFF] he will show you to tour room princess." He said looking at me.

When he said this he walked away from us at a rather fast pace. "Sorry about him. He doesn't trust you. So he's trying to keep his distance. After you get to know him he's actually a really nice guy." He said looking at us.

As I walked down the hallway. I noticed that most of the members had a smile on there face. Most also greeted me with respect and trusted me almost immediately.

I then came to a room. "Lord [Name] has told me that this is to be your room." The knight said looking at me.

"Thank you." I said walking past him and looking at my room. I must admit that the room was very well furnished and as soon as I sat down on the bed it was several times softer than my own.

I then heard what sounded like metal hitting each other. I walked over to the window and saw that Link had his sword out as well as [Name] and they were fighting.

I then saw something that horrified me. [Name] got the upper hand and brought his sword down. I was stunned and was about to yell until [Name] stopped just as his blade reached Links throat.

When he stopped he brought his blade away and put it back in its case. "You fight well for a mere soldier. Tell me Link why are you not a knight in the light kingdom?" He asked looking at him.

"Oh well Zelda only has soldiers. She doesn't have knights to protect her." He said looking at her.

"She should really fix that. If she had more compaitent men maybe she wouldn't be kidnapped so much." [Name] said looking at Link.

"Yeah but usually it's your men that kidnap her. So I really have a hard time as you can tell." Link said a smile on his face.

"Come again?" He asked looking at Link.

"i-it's usually your men that kidnap her." Link said looking at her. [Name] then grabbed Link by the arm and he had a rather angry expression on his face.

I then got a little worried so I sneaked out of the room. When I did I found them going into a another room. I opened the door to wear I could see and saw [Name] place several hundred papers in front of him.

"I want you to point out each and every man that has kidnapped her or had something to do with kidnapping her." He said looking at Link.

"Uh sure but why?" Link asked looking at him.

"No one is allowed to go onto the light kingdom without my permission and I have NEVER told anyone to kidnap the princess. I want you to point each one of them out so that they can be punished." [Name] said looking at her.

He then nodded and looked through the pictures. As he looked through them he picked out ten pictures. [Name] looked at them and took the m from them. When he saw the pictures his teeth grinded against each other. "I knew they couldn't be trusted." He said taking the pictures and putting them in his pocket.

"Thank you Link. I will see to it personally that they are punished." [Name] said as he looked at a few more documents. Link then sat down and looked at [Name] a little confused.

"Hey [Name] I've noticed that you sort of have a slight hatred towards Zelda why is that?" Link asked looking at him.

"I hate anyone that belongs to the royal family of the light kingdom. My family was one of the best fighting families on the dark side. One day they were killed by soldiers that belonged to the light kingdom." [Name] said looking at Link.

"I had located one of them after several years and he had told me it was an order from princess Zelda herself. Ever since that day I knew that I could never trust anyone from the light kingdom." [Name] said looking at him.

I was shocked to her this. I never gave any such order. He lost his entire family because of someone and he believes that someone is me. It's no wonder he hates me. No scratch that it's a mericle he hasn't tried to kill me yet.

"Then why'd you agree to marry Zelda then?" Link asked looking at him. [Name] then sighed and looked at him.

"Well the truth is as you know I don't want to marry Zelda. However my kingdom will not always have such capable fighters. We are always on the defensive. This is completely by choice. I agreed to marry Zelda because I don't want any others to harbor hatred for the light kingdom." He said looking at the ceiling.

"Why? I mean you have harbored hatred longer than anyone else. So why would you not want others to hate the same thing as you?" Link asked looking at [Name].

"The truth is I did always hate the light kingdom. I used to dream about going to light kingdom when I was little. Then I had heard that a princess had been born there. I was so happy to hear this. I wanted to become friends with her and my family actually wanted to arrange a meeting so I could meet the princess." [Name] said looking at him.

"However as we were traveling we were attacked by the soldiers and well . . . you know the rest. I just don't understand why they would attack us. Our peaceful treaty seemed to have always been something we honored until that day." [Name] said looking at Link.

When [Name] said this Link looked at him. "[Name] I don't think Zelda gave those orders. I've been around her enough to know what I'm saying. She's always shown kindness to her enimes even when she knew they were to far corrupted to be saved. I honestly believe that someone else gave those orders." Link said looking at him.

[Name] then sighed and looked at Link. "Listen Link I can't tell weather you are lying or not but if what you say is the truth then I shall try to fall in love with Zelda. However if she does not return my feelings then I'm not going to force her to marry me." He said looking at him which brought a smile to my face.

"While we're on this topic Link is there someone that you hold close to your heart?" He asked looking at Link. Link blushed when he asked this then nodded.

"Yeah actually there is. Here name is Mina. She's a little hyper honestly treats me like an idiot but one day she kissed me and confessed her love to me. I was happy to hear this and accpeted her love." Link said looking at her. I was depressed to hear this in all honesty.

I was sort of hoping that me and Link could be together and that he would accept my love if I ever confessed to him. However now o k ow he loves someone else and that it would just be a complete waste of my time.

"Mina . . . you mean the princess of the twilight kingdom correct?" When he asked thin Link nodded in response. "Glad to see that my cousin found someone. Not to mention someone who's capable of protecting her." [Name] said looking at him.

"Great so when you and Zelda get married can I new your best man?" Link asked looking at him. [Name] laughed at this softly and looked at Link.

"Listen Link I somehow doubt that the princess is ever going to find me attractive. I appreciate all you've done with the newfound information and all but I don't see us as a couple. She seems to have a thing for someone else." He said looking at Link.

Well he wasn't wrong. I did have a thing for Link but now I know he won't return my feelings. I felt as if I had heard all I needed to and left. When I did I walked outside.

From what I could tell I was in the garden. I must admit the flowers are all rather lovely. However I then felt the ground beneath me shake and watched as a giant creature came up from the ground and grabbed ahold of me.

When it did I screamed then felt myself falling. I then felt someone grab me and looked up to see [Name] when we landed he dashed behind a rock and placed me there.

"Stay here." He ordered looking at me. The then drew his sword and killed the monster. He then ran back over to me. He grabbed my face and gently turned it. "You don't seemed to be injured. Still better to be safe than sorry I'll send a doctor to your room. Please go there and wait Princess." He said looking at me.

I nodded a little dumbfound and walked into the room. As I was walking to the room. I was amazed at how gentle his hands were. When fighting that monster he seemed like he could kill anything.

However when he touched my face I had never felt hands so gentle in all my life. He didn't rush through it it was more like he guided me to do what he wanted. Without forcing me to do anything.

I guess it's just like [BFF] said. He really is a nice person when you get to know him. Not to mention he beat Links all time record when it came to saving me.

When the doctor had finished looking me over she walked out and [Name] walked in. "Are you alright? What did the doctor say?" He asked looking at me.

I nodded and looked at him with a smile on my face. "I'm fine [Name] thank you for caring." I said looking at him

"There's no need to thank me. You are an important guest and deserve to be treated as such." He said looking at me. He then got up and looked at me.

He then pulled a chair over to my bed. "I shall stay by your side until you fall asleep. I understand that may have been a little traumatic." He said looking at me.

I nodded and got under the covers. When I did I found it a little difficult to sleep. "H-Hey [Name]." I said gaining his attention.

"What is it Zelda?" He asked looking at me. When he did I blushed and presented my hand to him.

"I-I'm having a little trouble sleeping so if it's not to much would you hold my hand while I sleep?" I asked looking at him he smiled and took it.

"If that is what you wish. Then I shall do so." He said letting me once again hold his hands to feel how gentle they truly were. I soon found myself at ease. I don't know who gave the orders to take his parents life but I fully intend to find out.

He's so kind and gentle despite having hatred towards me and my family for years. I don't know why but he's a very comforting person even though he is the dark prince.

P.O.V. [Name]

I watched as she fell asleep. She really is quite beautiful more beautiful than I had heard rumored around my kingdom. When she had fallen asleep I slip my hand away from her only to see that her face became troubled.

My eyes widened and I soon took her hand in mine once again. When I did she smiled in her sleep. I sighed and looked at her. Looks like I'm going to be here all night.

As I let her hold my hand in her sleep I heard her start to talk in her sleep. "L-Link" figures she'd have a crush on him oh well makes no real difference I suppose.

"L-link you'll never guess what happened today." She said in her sleep. A little of but nothing to strange I guess.

"[Name] asked me to marry him." She said as the sleeping form of her only smiled even more. I blushed when I heard this and looked down at her.

"Let's see if we can't !make that dream a reality." I said looking at her. I then smiled and looked outside. As long as she's in my kingdom I'm going to be sure no harm comes to her.
