P.O.V. Kirito

I was walking down the street on one of the lower level floor. I was meeting some friends from my time during S.A.O. it was nice to get away from the solo scene every now and again.

I then spotted a teen wearing a [F/C] hood and saw some [H/C] hair from one side of his hood. No way that couldn't possibly be. I ran towards him and he noticed me.

He removed his hood and I saw that it was who I thought it was. It was [Name] an I.R.L. friend I had. He always managed to get his hands on the good games to bad this one seemed to be a death trap.

Although in any of his games he always went with an alias. He never once put anything close to his real name once it seems as though he has chosen the name Shadow Star this time.

"Hey [Nam- I mean Shadow Star how have you been?" I asked looking at him.

"No need to act so formal Kazuto." (kirito's real name in case you didn't know) he said looking at me.

"It been almost two years since we got trapped here why didn't you try to find me? We used to be an unstoppable team remember." I asked looking at him.

"Well I never had a reason to try and find you. Although if you're up for a challenge I got just the thing to cure your boredom." He said as he summoned a [least f/C] crystal."

"Wish is that what o think it is?" I asked looking at him.

"Depends on what you think it is." He said tossing it in the air. "If you thought it was a dungeon gem then you're right and this looks like it's going to be a good one." He smiling.

"What makes you say that?" I asked looking at him.

"Well the minimum number aloud to enter is three players. There are seven mini-boss's and One final boss before we can claim the dungeons reward seems like a lot of work so it just makes since that it would have a desent sized reward." He said looking at me.

"Woah that does sound like it's going to be one heck of a reward." I said looking at him.

P.O.V. [Name]

"So what level are you?" I asked looking at Kirito as he now preferred to be called.

"Not to brag or anything but I'm level 197." He said looking at me.

"Really that's impressive. I'm level 217" I said looking at him.

"How you weren't even in the beta." He asked looking at me.

"Oh you know lots of grinding." I said looking at him.

"Well that makes since you always did grind in the level based games." He said a sour face planted were his smirk was just seconds ago.

"It's an effective method." I said looking at him. Just then I heard someone yell out Kirito's name. We turned to see a girl with a light armor red eyes and short brown hair tied up in pig tails as well as a dragon following close behind her.

Not sure how she got the dragon but I've tried to tame one of those short flying lizards before and they prove to be queit difficult to gain control of.

"Hey Silica what's up?" Kirito asked looking at her.

"A friend of yours?" I asked looking at him.

"Yeah I helped her get her pet dragon back when it was killed." He said looking at me.

"Oh." I said in slight surprise. That would have been helpful information to know when my pet rabbit daisy died.

"Kirito where were you me and Clyde were waiting for you at the tavern and you never showed!" She asked her cheeks a slight shade of red.

"Oh yeah sorry about that but you see Shadow Star here is an I.R.L. friend and I haven't seen him in a while so while we were catching up I kind of lost track of time." He said scratching the back of his head.

"No excuses you owe me and Clyde an apology." She said looking at him. This actually starting to get kind of funny. He then had a look of brilliance on his face and turn her.

"Hey Silica tell Clyde to meet me and Shadow Star here tommrow we got a dungeon crystal that almost guarantees a huge reward."

"WE have a crystal?" I asked looking at him.

"Alright [Name] has a crystal." He said looking at her.

"Who's [Name]?" She asked.

"I am." I stated looking at her. I saw a look of confusion on her face so I decided to clarify. "[Name] is my name in real life but for the game I chose the name Shadow Star." I said looking at her.

She looked at me for a mintue before she let out a sigh and said. "Alright I'll tell Clyde to meet you two here tomorrow." She said walking off.

He then looked at me a little scared and said "So you're not mad that I used your crystal to get myself out of trouble?" He asked.

"No consider it a way to make up for that time I took your horse without asking then accidentally got it killed." I said looking at him.

"You know I had completely forgotten about that." He said as we walked down the street. I then saw another girl running up to us.

I watched as they reunited for a minute before Kirito turned to me. "Oh yeah hey Asuna I'd like you to meet a close friend of mine Shadow Star." He said looking at us.

"[Name] I'd like you to meet my wife Asuma." He said looking at me.

"So you two know each other?" Asuna asked looking at me.

"Yeah we go back to when we were still just little kids in kindergarten." Kirito said looking at her.

"Oh well I'm Asuna nice to meet you." She said looking at me.

"Like wise." I said taking her hand.

"Hey [Name] I'm going to be busy tommrow so think you and the others could go without me?" He asked looking at me.

"Yeah no problem." I said as I watched them walk off well I'm back to the three person minimum idea plus this way I won't have to split the reward four ways so bonus.

Timeskip

P.O.V. Silica

I was walking to the center of town where I told Clyde Kirito and his friend would meet us. When I got there I saw [Name] and Clyde already there talking to each other.

"Hey guys where's Kirito?" I asked looking at them.

"He had something he had to do today so he won't be here with us." [Name] said looking at me.

"So how big is this reward we're going to get today." Clyde asked looking at [Name].

"Well the Crystal says a very high reward and the game sets that only if the the reward is greater than 1,000,000 gold and five weapons with a moderate drop rate." He said looking at us.

"So we how many boss's are we going to have to fight?" Clyde asked looking at us.

"Boss's one mini-boss's however are seven." He said as we began to walk into the wood. "Here we go now everyone ready remember you can't teliport out of these things." He said looking at us.

We both nodded and he placed the Crystal on the ground and stepped on it we were taken to a dungeon where a small kitten was in front of us.

It then gained red eyes and started to jump on the walls. "I hate boss's that have a stupid design." [Name] said as it spit some acid at him. "I hate them even more when they have powers the don't make since." He said as we all started to attack.

Timeskip

P.O.V. Clyde

We were facing the last boss and this one was pain the butt to defeat it looked like half fly half human and it kept flying all over the place.

However at the moment it was just me, Silica and the boss [Name] was staying back to heal. Silica then got tripped by it's tail and it was going to dileiver a fatal blow until [Name] dashed in front of her.

He was impaled though the stomach and his HP was dropping fast however when it entered the red zone it sudden stopped and [Name]'s cursur suddenly turned black.

I didn't know what happened but sudden [Name] pushed the boss off him and he arms extended after it it was amazing I didn't know something like this could happen.

He finally caught the boss and wrapped his arms around it's neck. He then held out his arms and looked at me and Silica. "Hurry and attack while I have it down!" I nodded and we both went after it. After the boss had been defeated the word congratulations appeared above us and [Name] passed out.

P.O.V. [Name] I awoke to see Silica sobbing on !y chest and Clyde looking at me with a worried expression. I then tried to lean up but found I couldn't I saw that my health bar was close to empty and it was black.

Oh crap that's right I used it! I thought as I suddenly remembered what happened. But first things first I need to get Silica off me. "H-hey Silica it's kind of hard to breath with you on me." I said and she looked at me.

A smile then graced her lips and she hugged me. After she did my cursur returned to green and and my health bar went from black to red.

After it did I looked at them and said "So I guess you want some answers." I said to which they nodded.

"Well it's a unique skill I gained a while back." I said looking at them. "I've don't really use it use I'm force to though." I said looking at them.

"So how'd you get it?" Silica asked.

"Well it was a reward from last year's Halloween event. You know ith all those puzzles and riddles and stuff well the reward they mentioned was given to the first player to solve all this stuff. It was a skill called Assassin mode." I said looking at them.

"So there's no way to get it?" Clyde asked.

"Afriad not can I trust you two to keep this a secret." I asked looking at them.

Clyde however felt like exploiting me a bit. "I'll keep quiet for twenty percent of you share of the gold." He said looking at me. I nodded and gave him what he asked for as well as Silica her share.

When we left we all went our separate ways and I was in the middle of town about to eat a sandwich that I had bought. When Silica came up to me.

She sat down across from me a slight shade of pink on her cheeks. "What's up?" I asked looking at her.

"W-well I want something in exchange for keeping you know what a secret." She said looking at me.

Great she's here to exploit me too. "Alright what do you want?" I asked looking at her.

Her face then turned beat red as she opened up her inventory and sent me a message Crystal. It appeared in my inventory almost immediately and that is when o saw it wasn't a message Crystal but an invite crystal.

I opened it up and a message appeared. It was short and simple with just two answers. " I think you'll really cute. Would you want to go out aometime? [ ] Yes or No [ ]"
I smiled and looked at her that would explain why her face is red.

P.O.V. Silica

"Silica you know I'm like three years older than you right?" He asked looking at me.

I nodded and felt a little stupid for now asking him. "Yes Kirito told me but he also said you were single and looking for a girlfriend." I said looking at him.

He had a shocked look on his face. He then laughed a little to which I felt embarrassed and ran out. I heard him call for me from his table and tears almost steamed down my face.

After a several moments of walking I sat down and started to talk to myself. "Of course he wouldn't want to go out with me. He probably wants someone his own age." I said to myself I then noticed that I had a new item in my inventory.

I opened it up and saw that it was my message Crystal only a little longer. It had a check beside the yes box. Below it there was a message that I didn't write though.

"I'd love to go out some time I just wanted to make sure you were okay with going out with someone a little older than you. So how does eight tommrow sound? If you still want to go out I'll meet you at the town square on floor 16"

I then smiled and said aloud "guess I know where I'll be tomorrow at eight."
