P.O.V. Armin

I was walking around the edge of wall Sheena with Mikasa and Levi. I tried to avoid talking to Levi because of what he might say. So at the moment I was talking to Mikasa I just wish she had more to say at times.

"I'm still just not sure is all. Sometimes I feel like it was a mistake that I joined the Survey Corps. There are just times that I wish I could go back to when we were kids even if it was just for a day," I said looking at Mikasa.

"I know what you mean. It was so much easier to forget about our problems back then. Not to mention we haven't seen a lot of our friends since that day," Mikasa said looking at me.

"Yeah like that guy you had a crush on," I said looking at her. When I asked this her face turned a slight shade of pink. "Although in all fairness he was nicer to you than most others. Remember he used to bring you a flower everyday," I said looking at her. She managed to keep her stoic expression, however her face still turned a little red.

"Come to think of it what was his name again?" I asked looking at her. It had been a while since I had thought about him. I honestly can't remember his name or even what he looks like for that matter.

"[Name]," Mikasa said looking at me. I could a hear a small amount of sadness in her voice when she said this and sighed. I guess it would be hard for her and Eren. They were pretty close as kids and we haven't seen him since that day.

"[Name]?" I heard the male beside me question. I tensed up a bit hearing this and looked at him. "As in [Name] [Last name]?" He asked looking at us.

"Yeah, why do you know him?" I asked looking at him.

"Yeah, he's one of the smartest people I've ever met," Levi said looking at me.

"Do you know if he's still alive?" Mikasa asked looking at him.

"I'd say probably so, but I have no way of knowing for sure. When I met him he spent most of his time in the castle," he said looking at me.

"The castle?" I asked looking at him.

"Yeah as head of the royal scientists he spends almost all of his time there," Levi said looking at the two of us. I smiled hearing this and we continued to walk around the wall.

"Hey Mikasa after we're done with patrol do you want to go and visit [Name]? I'm sure I'd be a nice surprise for him," I said looking at the female in front of me. When I asked this her face turned a slight shade of red and she nodded.

"Yeah it'd be nice to see him again," Mikasa said as we continued to walk around the wall of Sheena. We continued to walk for a few more hours until our patrol shift was over. When we were done I looked at her and she nodded and we began to make our way towards the castle.

When we arrived I sighed and looked at the building. I then saw a few people with cloths that looked a little different that everyone else's enter. When they did we began to follow them to a more busy part of the castle.

Two males then began to walk past us wearing the same attire as the other two. However unlike them they also had clipboards in their hands. "So I'm thinking that something with a formula along the lines of (Ca,K,Na,[])(Al,Fe,Li,Mg,Mn)3(Al,Cr,Fe,V)6 (BO3)3(Si,Al,B)6O18(OH,F)4 might make our weapons better for combat," One said as he walked past us.

"Yeah I see your point but it think a weapon with the formula H2Mg3(SiO3)4 or Mg3Si4O10(OH)2 would prove to be more effective," I heard the other male respond as they walked past us.

"So any idea which one of these guys is [Name]?" I asked looking at Mikasa.

"None of them look like him. Then again it has been a while. He may look completely different than how we remember him. I mean the only thing I remember about him is that he hated it when someone-" I began only to get cut off hearing a new voice.

"DAMN IT WHO TOUCHED MY STUFF!" I heard a male yell and then.

"Guess we found him," I said looking towards the direction of the sound.

P.O.V. [Name]

I sighed as I looked through my book. Good looks like no one took any of my research. I then looked in the center of the room and saw that the flower I had gotten was still there. I then heard a few footsteps and turned to see two figures in front of me. They looked familiar but I haven't seen them here before.

A male with blonde hair and blue eyes and a beautiful female that had black hair and black eyes they look almost exactly like . . . "Armin? Mikasa?" I asked looking at the two in front of me. When I asked this the blonde smiled and the female nodded. I smiled seeing this and walked towards the two.

"I thought that the two of you died on the day that the colossal Titan had attacked," I said looking at the two more than happy to see that the two of them were still alive.

"Yeah we all thought the same thing had happened to you," Armin said looking at us.

"As for you Mikasa you're still as beautiful as I remember. I'd give you that flower over there but it has a tendency to explode," I said looking at the female in front of me.

"That flower explodes?" Armin asked looking at the flower.

"Yeah, weird right? I didn't know these things even existed until a few years ago and now they're the prime subject of my research," I said looking at them.

"Well that certainly is odd. I can see why you'd want to study them if that's the case," Mikasa said looking at the flower.

"That property of the flower certainly is odd but that's not why I study them. They have an even more interesting property that could help us come back from the brink of extinction," I said looking at the flower. "But I'll have plenty of time to bore you with that detail later," I said looking at them.

"Just wait until Eren hears about this? He'll be so excited to see you again," Armin said looking at me.

"So he survived too? Seems like luck was on our side that day," I said looking at them. "Well if that's the case then let's go out to celebrate," I said looking at them. When I said this we all walked out of the room and I locked my door behind me.

I then began to walk down the hall with the two beside me. "So Mikasa are you seeing anyone?" I asked looking at her. When I said this her face turned a slight shade of pink and she nodded.

"No not at the moment," she said looking at me. I mentally sighed hearing this that's good at least I still have a chance no matter how slim that chance actually is.

P.O.V. Mikasa

I watched as Eren and Armin talked and at the moment I was sitting next to [Name]. He looks just like I thought he would. He then looked at me and sighed. "You know Mikasa it's nice seeing the three of you after all these years," he said looking at me.

"Yeah, I know what you mean," I said as I watched everyone. I then looked at the male and smiled. "Do you want to go somewhere else?" I asked looking at him.

"Yeah sure," he said as we began to walk out of the building. As we started to walk down the streets I looked at him.

"Got anywhere you want to go in mind?" I asked looking at him.

"Not really," he said as we began to walk down the streets.

P.O.V. [Name]

I smiled as we walked down the streets. It's nice to see that she's still okay. I guess my brother was wrong when he said that she probably died when the colossal Titan broke through the wall. Glad to see that he was wrong.

As we were walking I felt the female grab my hand and I looked at her. I smiled when I saw this and continued to walk down the street. We kept walking not really caring where we went for what felt like hours however the female then stopped and looked at me.

"I need to get back to my post. Although we should definitely do this again sometime," she said as she leaned forward and placed a gentle kiss on my lips. I smiled when she did and nodded.

"Yeah, just come visit me whenever and I'll be sure to make some time for you," I said looking at her. When I said this she nodded and began to walk away. When she did I then sighed and began to head towards the castle.

P.O.V. Mikasa

I was walking down the halls of the castle to once again visit [Name]. We were out almost all of last night so I don't think he got much sleep so maybe I can make it up to him today. However as I looked into his office I saw that Levi was standing behind him. He then raised one of his hands.

He looked like he was going to hit the male. I was about to talk to him to tell him why he was asleep but then I stopped when Levi took off his cape and placed it on the male. He then sighed and looked at the male in front of him.

"I honestly don't know what you see in her brother. But if she makes you happy . . . Then I'm not going to interfere," Levi said as he turned around and began to walk out the room. When he did he stopped and looked at me.

"Take care of him alright, he's fragile and not strong like you and myself so you'll have to watch over him closely," he said as he continued to walk. When he did I looked at the male and sighed. I knew that [Name] had a brother, I just didn't know that it was Levi.

I then sat in a chair beside [Name] I'll just wait for him to wake up. After all he can't be asleep forever. When I sat beside him I placed my hand on top of his. When I did I saw him smile in his sleep. So Levi does care about others even if it is just one other person.

P.O.V. [Name]

I slowly began to wake up and when I did I saw that Mikasa was looking at me. I felt my face heat up a bit seeing this and looked at her. "S-sorry was I asleep long?" I asked looking at her.

"Not that long," she said looking at me. I smiled hearing this and I stood up. When I did she stood up as well and looked at me. "So where do you want to go today?" I asked looking at her.

"I was thinking that we could go to a small place to eat," she said looking at me. I nodded hearing this and we once again started to walk down the streets.

"You know I got your brothers blessing so maybe now you can get mine," she said looking at me.

"Eren has a problem with us? Strange he seemed alright with when I brought you flowers. What changed?" I asked looking at the female in front of me.

"Nothing it'd just be nice to have," she said looking at me. I smiled realizing what she meant and nodded.

"Alright if it'll make you happy then I'll talk to Eren about it," I said looking at her. She smiled hearing this and looked at me. She then once again leaned up and placed a kiss on my cheek. I once again felt my face heat up and looked at her.

"Mikasa, I love you," I said looking at her. She smiled hearing this and looked at me.

"I love you too, [Name]," she said looking at me.
