P.O.V. Azula

This isn't how things were supposed to go. We were supposed to win the war not them. No here I am in jail with all these animals. I can feel the majority of the men staring at me.

Weather it be from fear, angry, or sexual attraction I couldn't tell. I sat at a chair were several peolpe where playing a card game. "What are you doing here princess?" One of the males asked looking at me.

"I want to see what the rest of you have to offer. You know since I'll be taking it all away from you." I said looking at them.

"You mean like how your brother took everything from you or how the avatar took everything from your father . . . Including his bending." A male said looking at me.

This really got under my skin and I looked at the male in front of me. He had [H/C] hair and [E/C] eyes. If he hadn't said that he might have even been attractive.

"Maybe then again what would someone like you know about that?" I asked looking st him.

"I know all the detail you losing to that waterbender and your brother. Losing the loyalty of your so called best friends and your father being bested by a twelve year old." He said looking at me.

The more I hear the more I want to kill him. "Then tell me how would you have delt with such a task?" I asked looking at him.

"Never would have been in that situation I'm not a fighter." He said looking at me. I smiled hearing this and put my hand next to his face before having my hands ignite into my usual blue flames.

I then felt something cold and hard tapping my side. I then looked down and saw that this man had a knife. I'm actually a little impressed that he got the knife into the prison.

I then smiled and back awaym "Not a fighter huh?" I asked looking at him.

"Well . . . Not a direct fighter." He said looking at me. I smiled at this maybe he'll be entertaining. Who knows what kind of fun he'll provide me.

I then heard a bell. Well guess that means that it's time to go back to the cells. As I did a guard stopped me and looked at me. "There a problem?" I asked looking at him.

"You're cell has been moved you will now be sharing a cell with inmate number 810005216." He said looking at me. I signed and we walked to a cell where there was two guys and three girls.

"Hey [Name] look who it is," the only person who wasn't playing cards around a table said. It just so happened that he was a male.

"Who is it?" I heard the same male ask from before.

"It's the princess," the male said looking at me with a smirk on his face.

"Oh well princess want to join in next round?" He asked looking at me.

"Sure why not? So what are we betting?" I asked looking at the table.

"Bet anything you want he never collects." One of the females said looking at me.

"What?" I asked looking at her.

"See the guy with the notepad he keeps track of everything we bet and it's up to [Name] here to collect our debts but he never does." The female said looking at her hand.

"I got that much but what you're implying is that he always wins." I said looking at her.

"He does the dudes got amazing luck." Another said looking at me.

"You sure he's not cheating?" I asked looking at them.

"We've all thought he was at one point or another but after having him take his shirt off and have six others watching him rapidly to make sure he wasn't cheating it doesn't matter who plays or who deals he always wins." One of the female said looking at me.

"Interesting and what happens if someone were to beat him?" I asked looking at them.

"Then chances are he could get you whatever you want. He has more stuff or rather he has more I.O.U's than anyone thought possible." The girl said placing her cards down.

I then sat down and looked at him. He picked up the cards and mixed them up. However I noticed that it was a rather long mix and he passed out the cards.

"Place bets," he said looking at us

"One shiv,"

"Two bottles of rum,"

"One bowl of powdered mammoth tusk,"

He then looked at me "Well place your bet," he said looking at me. I then thought about it and realized I don't have anything to bet.

"What exactly can I bet?" I asked looking at him.

"Basically if you can get ahold of it somehow within twenty four hours then you can bet it," a female said looking at me.

"Alright well . . . how about my first kiss?" I asked looking at him. He raised a brow at this and then friend marked it down on a piece of paper.

He then looked at his hand smiled and sat them down. "Remember the rules a sun will boost fire and the moon will boost water, the moon takes away from fire and the sun takes away from water. Then a field helps both earth and air but takes away from water and negates fire." He said looking at us.

The rules were fairly simple and I liked my hand two fire a sun a field and a moon. He looked at his hand for a second meaning he was with her confident or he just didn't know what his cards were and was hoping for the best.

I showed my hand as everyone else smiled and looked at there hands. "You beat us Azula," they said looking at me. [Name] then flipped his cards over and revealed a field two moons and two waters.

"I win," he said looking at me.

P.O.V. [Name]

I won how not surprising. I guess having someone's first kiss isn't all bad. Although it could just be the fact that it belongs to the former fire lord.

Kind of funny she was fire lord for almost a second before her brother challenged her and she was sent to prison. Now she's here with me [BFF] and several others.

"Again," she said looking at me. She's presistant just like all the others were at first it doesn't matter though after a few more trys she'll give up and just be playing to see if she's lucky to beat me.

Timeskip

I sighed and looked at the table in front of me. Azula and [BFF] were both trying to beat me. You know it must be nice to lose every once and a while. The odd thing is I've cheated before.

Well sort of cheated I gave the opponent a good hand and I still won. Although I guess it couldn't hurt to try again. I picked up the deck and looked at them.

"I want to know what each of you want from me before I deal." I said looking at them.

"I want some of that fire seasoned wine that you got from goto." [BFF] said looking at me.

"I don't see the point in telling you. It's not we're ever going to beat you," she said looking at me. Just like predicted she has given up on beaten me.

"I'm just feeling a little drained of luck is all," I said looking at her.

"Well there's no point I might as well say I want a kiss from you because like I said it's never going to happen," she said looking at me.

"Alright well that's a little strange but okay," I said looking at her. I think I'm going to give the advantage to [BFF]. I know Azula's technically a friend now but I don't think she'd take to kindly to me kissing her.

I looked at the deck and carefully shuffled it so the cards I wanted went to who I wanted to give them to. I showed my cards and it was two air two field and one earth.

My friend flipped his cards and they weren't enough to beat mine. Azula then showed her cards and . . . how strange her cards were enough to beat mine but not enough to beat [BFF]'s.

It's a three way tie. It's not exactly a loss but it's close enough I guess. I then looked at the two of them and they shrugged. "Let's just say the two of you are getting what you asked for." I said looking at them.

[BFF] smiled and got up to go tell my paper boy about the wine. Azula on the other hand looked about ready to kill me. "You cheated," she said looking at me.

"I have no idea what you're talking about," I said looking at her.

"You cheated so that I'd be forced to kiss you," she said looking at me.

"Then someone's forgotten her very first wager with me. It was you're first kiss and I could still collect on it if I choose but I don't want to hear about it so just accept the fact that in a way you won." I said looking at her.

She then sighed and looked at me. "Fine but if you tell anyone about this I swear I'll reduce you to a pile of ashes." She said looking at me.

"Azula you just said a kiss. You didn't say where. I'll just kiss you on the hand how does that sound?" I said looking at her causing her face to turn even more red.

"Don't be ridiculous. I was raised to be a princess and was taught to always honor my word. If I said I want a kiss from you then I'm going to get a proper kiss," she said looking at me.

I sighed and leaned in closer to her then. I had closed my eyes so I wasn't sure if she had leaned in or not but I soon got my answer as her lips connected to mine.

Even though it was supposed to be quick and easy kiss it turn into something more than that. I felt a little bit of passion behind her kiss which was strange for the usually cold female.

After we separated we just looked at each other for a whole before she pulled me back in for a second kiss. I didn't fight it after all why would I?

This one was slightly more heated than the first with her deepening the kiss and our tongues connecting and dancing with one another.

When we separated she looked at me with a smile. "Well I guess now's as good a time as any to reveal my true feelings." She said looking at me.

"I had no idea why you fell in love with me but I'm glad you did." I said looking at her.

"Let's just say that I have a thing for unbeatable opponents." She said looking at me with a smile. This caused me to smile and I heard the bell sound off meaning we had to go back to our cells.

I hope that our cell mates don't mind a few loud night and I hope they have enough decency not to just stand there and watch us. Although I guess it really doesn't matter as long as I have my fire princess with me.
