Joker's POV

The riot continues. I look at the crowd of clowns.

Joker: Gentlemen! The Batman is free! I don't know how he did it, but he's probably on his way to stop us!

We hear a loud engine. We see a car, similar to the one I saw on the news. It was Batman's car...

Joker: Speak of the devil...

Batman gets out of the car. He glares at us.

Batman: I remember that night... when you stood like that... danced like that... after my parents were killed...

Joker: Men! Take him out!

My men start charging at Batman. One of my men tries punching Batman, but Batman moves out of the way and kicked him in the leg. He then backhands the man. Another man grabs Batman's arm. Batman flips the man over and kicks his head. The clowns then started to be too much for Batman. They all grab him and take him down. Batman tries fighting out, but the clowns kept him down. Then more of the GCPD arrived and started shooting at the clowns. Gordon was also there, he also shoots at the clowns. Batman then gets out his grappling gun and shoots it at a nearby rooftop, sending him out of the clown crowd and away from GCPD fire.

Joker: DAMNIT!!!

Gordon sees me.

Gordon: Joker is right there!!! Take him down!!!

The cops start shooting at me. I jump off the car and hide behind it. I use my gun and shoot at the cops. I was able to kill most of the cops. But some were still after me. One cop got close to me and tries to shoot me. But I punch him in the face and use my gun to shoot him in the chest. A cop tries to sneak in front of me, I elbow him in the face, making him face away from me, I then kick him in the back, knocking him down. Another cop came to me and tries punching me. I duck the punch and grab his arm, twist it behind his back, and I use my gun and aim it at his head. I then use him as a human shield in front of Gordon and the other cops.

Joker: DON'T COME ANY CLOSER!!!!

Gordon and the other cops stop doing what they're doing.

Gordon: EVERYONE!!! HOLD YOUR FIRE!!!

I then hear a big engine again. It was once again Batman's car. He was able to get back in as I was dealing with the GCPD.

Joker: Shit!

I push the cop forward and start running away. The GCPD starts shooting at me. I was able to avoid getting shot. I make it to a random car. I start driving away. Batman's car quickly follows me. The GCPD and the clowns quickly moved out of the way before either of us ran them over. I look at the rear mirror to see Batman is catching up to me.

Joker: You just can't stay away...

I roll down my window and aim my gun towards Batman's car.

Joker: LEAVE ME ALONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I start shooting at Batman's car. But the bullets doesn't do anything. His car was armored...

Joker: Oh... for fuck sake!!!!!!

Batman is able to boost up and ram my car. I start spinning and rolling out of control.

Joker: SHIT!!!!!!

I bump into the doors and walls of the car. Until the car finally landed upside down. I am in pain. I feel blood dripping out of my mouth. Batman stopped his car behind mine. I quickly act and start kicking the door window to break the reminder of the broken glass. I am able to crawl out of the car without anymore scratches. I get up and start running into an abandoned building. I keep looking back to see if Batman was following me. There is no sign of him. I keep running. I find a big room. There is a dead end.

Joker: Oh god...

I hear the door kick open. It was Batman, looking as angry as ever.

Joker: You!

Batman says nothing.

Joker: You just had to ruin everything! You just can't stay away...

Batman: A clown killed my parents... because of you.

Joker: Killing them wasn't my full intention, but I'm glad someone did it... after how your dad treated me...

Batman: You're a monster. Plain and simple. You don't deserve to see daylight... you are done causing this city problems...

Joker: Oh? Says the rich man, Bruce... you were BORN with your money. People like me actually had to suffer while people like you looked down on us and did nothing to support us. You think your life was hell?!

Batman stays silent.

Joker: I'VE BEEN ABUSED SINCE I WAS LITTLE!!!! BY SOMEONE WHO I THOUGHT WAS MY MOTHER!!!! PEOPLE LOOKED DOWN ON ME!!! MADE FUN OF ME!!!!

I take a breath.

Joker: I had enough of everything, and I decided to come out there and give these people a reason to fight against the toxic power of this city...

Batman: This doesn't give you a right to terrorize this city!

Joker: Innocent?!?! You think these people are innocent?!?! These people watched and did nothing as this city went to hell!!!! They did NOTHING to help it!!! They didn't do a damn thing!!!

Batman: This city is just afraid....

Joker: No.... This city is weak... but not me... I single-handily changed this city, by killing those Wayne employees, and Murray Franklin all those years ago...

I see Batman clench his fists.

Joker: This is it... Bruce... I wish it didn't have to come to this... but you did this to yourself...

Batman: You're right... I signed up for this when I made this suit, the equipment, all so I can stop you and anyone else who wants to destroy this city...

I let out a small chuckle.

Joker: Okay then... let's dance!

Me and Batman slowly walk towards each other. I try to punch Batman, but he grabs my fist. He twists my fist.

Joker: Ah, Ah, OW!!!!

Batman then grabs my throat and slams me to the wall. I feel him tightening his grip on my throat. I start to feel myself lose breath. I reach into my suit and grab a baseball bat. I take it out and hit Batman in the head with it. The hit makes him let go of me. Batman takes a few steps back to recover from the hit. I swing the bat at his stomach.

Batman: AH!!!

I then swing the bat down at his back, knocking him down to the ground. I then start to repeatedly kick him while he's on the ground. I stop to take a breath. I swing the bat in the air a few times.

Joker: Goodbye... last son of the Waynes...

I swing the bat down at Batman. But Batman turned around and grabbed the bat.

Batman: You son of-

Batman didn't finish his sentence and just kicks me in the face. I spit out some blood. Batman quickly gets up and charges at me while screaming. He tackles me through a wall. He then slams me on the ground. He gets on top of me and start punching me in the face nonstop. I feel my face get more bloody and bloody with every punch. Even Batman's fist kept on getting bloody. He starts punching me faster and faster. I feel a pool of blood in my mouth. Batman finally stops. Batman gets off me and looks up in the air.

Batman: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Batman got all the anger out. I turn over and spit out all the blood in my mouth. I then look back at him.

Joker: Do it... kill me... we both know you want to...

Batman starts breathing heavily in anger.

Joker: This is why you are who you are... because of me... so go on... kill me... KILL ME!!!!!

Batman: You even know... how badly I want to take your life... but you don't get to change who I am!!!! I AM NOTHING LIKE YOU!!!! YOU WON'T MAKE ME LIKE YOU!!!!!!

Batman takes a few breaths.

Batman: You're going back to Arkham! And you will be alone for the rest of your pathetic and miserable life!!!!

Batman turns me around and handcuffs me... he then takes me outside. The GCPD then comes in.

Cop: STAY WHERE YOU ARE!!! FREEZE!!!

Batman quickly grapples away. Gordon then walks over.

Gordon: He got away...?

The cops nod.

Cop: At least he got Joker...

Gordon looks at me.

Gordon: Take him to Arkham...
