Everything to know

A/N: Here's everything on this page to let you know about this remake (which I'll be working on very soon).

To first start off, I'll be working on quite a lot of pages before I actually start posting them.

Next thing, compared to the original story's more Yugioh-like elements in regards to the reader, the dragons and other stuff, the remake will still have some of those elements, but also having a bit of Monster Hunter elements as well as pulling from other kinds of fantasy and mythology material (such as stuff like Yokai).

Events of the past will be brought up from time to time via flashbacks or mentions.

Next, there will be a reason as to why the reader attacked humans in the past.

Speaking of the reader, the design of his dragon form will be a little different from the original version of the story.

I kind of wanted to get a little bit creative with the reader's design, much like what I've got going on for the godzilla reader reboot story. So, when designing the dragon form for the reader, I kinda wanted to branch off a little bit while also still keeping with the blue eyes white dragon elements of the original.

Several creatures were used for the design inspiration. The version you're currently seeing takes elements from:

Fatalis.

King Ghidorah (only at the feet).

Smaug (only at the eyes).

Safi'jiiva (only at the arms)

Shagaru Magala (only with the edges of the wings)

and the Giganotosaurus from Jurassic World: Dominion (only slightly in terms of head shape)

The design of the reader in his human form is different as well (with there are two variations of it).

The first variant is where the reader carries over the features of his dragon form. Such as the wings, tail, legs, arms, a few scales in places and even the eyes.

The second variant is the one where the reader's powers are restrained by the dark sorcerer. The draconic arms, legs and wings are gone as well as most of the scales. He has human-like hands and feet with talon-like nails and has at least a couple of scales on his body remaining. His Draconic eyes and tail still remain.

(You'll see which variants come first later on).

The overall design of the reader, minus the draconic features already mentioned in the first variant, the reader has white hair, pointed ears, a kinda muscular body (but not very much), the skin on your body is human, but there are still scales that are prominent on parts of your body (such as patches of scales under your eyes and the sides of your face as well as many scales that run down each side of your body and back).

The abilities of the reader as the same as blue eyes as before, but there are still changes.

The reader has the ability are like this:

Blue Fire Breath.

Like your typical fantasy dragon, The reader is capable of firing a stream of blue fire from his mouth. Said blue fire is hotter and burns more than regular fire, capable of burning things like wood at a much faster rate, can make materials like concrete or stone crack and is even capable of melting most metallic material.

Blue Fire Balls.

Works mostly the same as the fire breath except the fire ball explodes on impact.

Mouth Breath.

The Mouth Beam can happen either during the time the reader is unleashing his fire breath, in which said breath would form into the beam. Or he can fire the beam at will. The beams are more destructive and explosive than either the fireball or fire breath. However, more or less, these beams are just a lesser and quicker released version of the Burst Stream of Destruction.

I think most people who are familiar with the blue eyes in general will get the idea of this attack. It's basically you're ultimate attack and cause the most destruction and damage of all.

There is also another ability where the scales on the reader's wings will glow a neon blue color whenever he's charging and unleashing an attack. They can also manipulate regular flames to an extend as the reader's wings will glow before letting out a massive roar and small shockwave. Said shockwave then causes the flames around him to turn from their normal color to a blue color.

Last thing regarding the reader would be the characters he would be paired with. To put this simple and clean, I've shortened it all down to Ryuko.

That being said, even with you paired with Ryuko, a lot of the stuff between her and mako still happen as well.

So, in a way, you could consider your relationship in this story is a comedic love triangle.

I did this as to not have to deal with the trouble and stress of having to juggle around the reader's relationship with some many other characters from time to time. Especially with a story that runs for 24 episodes (25 counting the OVA).

Next thing to bring up is the two side guest characters from the original version of the story; Ikara (who will now be named Asuri) and Frostwing.

Both Asuri and Frostwing are going to have a lot more to their character, not only in terms of their stories as well, but a deeper look into their characters overall.

(Credit goes to MLPFan001 and Ikara-navi for providing info on their characters for this version of the story).

And on the subject of the two, much like the original story, Frostwing will be paired with Nui (but there will be a difference in this, especially when it comes to that little plot hole in the original). And for Asuri, he has Nonon.

(And I should mention that not all of the relationships in this story have to end up with someone fully together. But there will still be some stuff of the characters getting rather close with each other by the end of the story or there's a heavy hint of a romance happening between them).

There is a bit of a change to the Dark Sorcerer in this version of the story, I won't go too in depth on it, but let's just say he might be a little more "active' in this version this time around.

And one other thing, the five antagonistic dragons that would eventually become the five headed dragon in the original story have been replaced by 5 different dragons, as well as the five headed dragon. I have others taking their places, but I'll leave that at a hush for now.

And one final thing. This wasn't originally part of the page, but after hearing about what happened and this being a semi-yugioh related story, I felt as thought I should pay respects to Kazuki Takahashi, who's unfortunately no longer with us now. I wasn't the mostly into Yu-Gi-Oh, but it did still make up a part of my childhood for quite some time and I greatly appreciate Kazuki for his hand in the creation of the series. He'll be missed greatly.
