Let's say for this the young Columbian boy has made the biggest mistake....but by the end, is for you to find out yourself~

Here is his story.

(Camilo's POV)

I decide to go for a nice walk down town just for the breeze, I know it sounds pretty cliche...plus I do wanna buy some sweet snacks without anyone knowing.

Good thing I saved some peso's~

Once I made it to the market to grab me some sweets, I glimpse a really pretty girl, who seemed to be around my age.

The way her hair shines in the sun, and that face is like looking at a princess.

She truly is a dream girl, handing out free samples to people in town, maybe I should try to talk to her!

But what if she's not into guys like me...? Weak...skinny...bubbly...hmm...

I look around the market and see not a lot of good looking males...until I see one, hmm, he seems like a handsome one.

So I shift into that man so that I could meet that Bonita nena~

(3rd Persons POV)

Camilo paid for his snacks and made his way over to the cute girl, then she turned to look up
at him,

"Oh! Hola señor, care to try a sample?" She asked him and suddenly Camilo began to freak out on the inside...but took a deep breath and acted cool.

"Of course I do Bonita, I'd try a sweet sample of you~" He booped her nose and it made her fluster red.

'Smooth Camilo...smooth' He said to himself.

"Well, I'm not sure if I'm sweeter than these treats." She said and almost like she was gonna say something else.

"I'm Y/n by the way." The shy girl introduced her name while brushing her hair to the side of her face.

"That's a pretty name. I'm cam- no! uhh...Julio!" Camilo faked a name.

"Julio?" Y/n said in question.

"Yes! Julio." He tried to sound manly for her so that she won't find anything suspicious.

She raised an eyebrow and fell for it as a surprise. "Alright Holio, Um...you still wanna try?" She held the tray and Camilo looked down at it and took a bite.

"Woah! That's amazing. I-I mean...delicioso." He tried to sound as mature, not really sure what this girl is into, but is close to finding out when he asks her out.

"Mi amor, are you doing anything later tonight?"

This surprised her big time, turning red knowing what's going to happen.

"Not really, except petting my cat and looking up at the ceiling at night."

Camilo chuckled feeling relatable on that.

"Why?"

Then he held her free hand to his lips "For a mujer hermosa, I wanna take you out somewhere special." Smooth talking the girl felt both wrong yet exciting, but again, this might be the better opportunity to know more about her and what she likes in a guy.

"What do you say senorita?"

He waits for her answer, instead she slowly backs away like she was teasing him. "Si." She whispers and heads back inside the store.

Camilo gasped and held in his excitement inside.

"I'll see you by the lake!!"

(Camilo's POV)

Ahhh yeah!! I got a date!

Oh man...I got a date...what if she finds out...? Would she not like the real me...? She's like the first girl I ever asked out!!

Calm down Camilo...just ask her genuine questions, take it slow!

Yeah!

Alright...let's go!!

(A few hours later, cuz let's get the date over with lol)

Camilo was waiting by the lake, feeling very nervous for his first date with a girl, he tried to calm down and take deep breaths...

Once he does so, he sees Y/n looking beautiful as ever.

"Hola Julio." She said softly and Camilo forgotten he made up his name.

"Y-yea, hola." They hugged and sat next the water, almost like a relaxing place to look up to the stars reflecting the waters like a different dimension.

"I like to come here a lot, it's my favorite place." She said softly and sat near the shore.

"Really? Same here." Camilo replied sitting besides her.

Y/n turned to look up at him, feeling red on how close he really was.

"It relaxes me and calms my nerves, sometimes I'm scared about what's going on surrounding me."

Now Camilo felt even more bad...he knows he ain't causing a lot of harm, but didn't wanna hurt the sweet girls feelings.

He'll wait until the right moment.

"You don't trust me?" He asked and she shook her head.

"I trust you, but I'd like to know more about you." She smiled softly, and right now Camilo is the blushing mess.

"Uhhh...I'm actually a servant for the Madrigal family." He told a lie which wouldn't seem believable.

"Oh really? That's nice!"

"Yeah...sometimes you get used to the gifts, but they are very nice people."

He looked over at her and her face seemed to shift into a loving expression.

"You know...I actually have a crush on a young Madrigal around my age, Camilo...his gift was to shapeshift." Her cheeks flush red when she mentioned him.

(Camilo's POV)

...what?! S-she likes me..?!

"R-really?" I asked and she nodded.

"Whenever I see him around town, I feel shy to even talk to him, or even being spotted...he makes me feel butterflies in my stomach...whenever I think about him."

Wow...I didn't know...ahh man...what have I done...?

Now I know that she's in love with me...I need to do something so that she chooses me over Julio!!

"Yeah...he is pretty interesting, but! He does tell me about having a girl of his life, he is a total lady killer." Even though I'm not...

"Really? Do you think...he's into girls who are..." she paused, looks like it's my turn to finish her sentence.

"Here's what I've heard, a girl who's amazing at baking, so sweet and loving of animals and children, also, gotta love him for who he is and not what he shifts as."

That turned out pretty well.

She sighed softly and looked up at me. "Do you think I'll be able to meet him...?"

I smirked and lift her chin up to gaze into my eyes.

"Maybe you will soon."

I lean in for a sweet kiss, noticing her eyes were shut, it's the best opportunity to surprise her in my true form.

I shift back to my old self and once we pulled away, she slowly opened her eyes and holy crab that face 🤣

(Y/n's POV)

I blinked a few times...looking around if Julio is around...but in front of me was my crush...

"Y-your-" I couldn't speak...I covered my mouth and looking down...

Then I heard chuckling coming from Camilo...

"I guess I should've told you before...but! I was Holio."

Dios Mío he catfished me...well good thing he wasn't actually a bad person.

"So...after all this time...you were in disguise just to ask me out...?" I asked him and he nodded.

"Yeah...I didn't know your type, so I went with some random good looking man."

To me he was good looking, but Camilo in my opinion is way more handsomer.

"Aww...we'll, I guess we're both shy to talk to each other." I said and I lean in to kiss his cheek.

"Thats for telling the truth."

And then I slapped his hand where he reacted, shifting around the face.

"Ow! What was that for?!" He asked.

"And that's for catfishing me." I smirked and I got up from the grass, began walking away until he starts following me from behind.

"Aww come on I didn't know okay, would you forgive me though?" He asked and I continued to ignore, I forgive him alright, just wanna play with him~

So I began to run, I could hear him chase me.

Then I felt a pair of arms wrapped around me when we made it back to the town.

"I got chu now!"

I laughed and felt his lips press against my cheek.

"Let me take you out for dinner, I'm buying." Camilo said and let's go of me.

"Aww okay, you choose the place." I booped his nose and then we already go on our first date out, we talked and laughed.

I never knew how interesting and funny he truly was.

"Camilo, meeting you in person has been an experience, but I'm always curious, why do you choose me?" I asked wanting to know what he sees in me.

Then I felt his hands placed over mine, after sipping a glass of water.

"I choose you because there is something special about you, its not about having a gift or having some super power...instead you are you."

Aww...

"Plus, your sweet, kind, loving, and a tease, an amazing baker, just my type." He smiled while those stunning green eyes gaze upon my blushing face.

"Do you really mean that?"

He nodded and kissed my hand, showing how much he meant it.

(3rd Persons POV)

You and Camilo finally fell in love, sure it was pretty messy at first, but it had a very happy ending.

Going on dates, kisses and cuddles, even baking him cookies as a treat whenever you visit each other.

Even his family loves you! Calling you his future bride. Looks like they want more kids or a sister in law lol.

Meeting Bruno, he told you that you'll have a happily ever after with Camilo.
