✅Tim Drake

For you, a magical day at DisneyLand was normal- well, because you worked there.

You had gotten the job mostly by accident- you were at a friend's costume party, where you dressed up as Ariel. And the casting director for Disney just so happened to be there, and he asked you to work as an actor at DisneyLand.
It was every child's dream to be a princess, and you got to live that every day.

It was really fun for you, because most of the time the children were so sweet, and the parents played along, obviously not wanting to crush the child's dream.

Today, you happened to be dressed up as Rapunzel, who was your favourite princess, both in the movie and to be. Your purple dress flowed behind you as you practically bounced around the park, smiling and waving at the kids. And, of course, stopping to take photos and sign autographs for people.

Your eyes widened slightly as you came across an unusual looking family. First of all, there was at least more than seven of them, which wouldn't have been too out of normal. But, they all looked to be at least teenagers, with the youngest about twelve, and the dad-figure looking about forty.

That was when you realised. That was the Wayne family, and all the 'children' were his wards. You grew slightly scared of the family, as most of them were older than you, as you were still a teen. And the whole family were strikingly good-looking, but that was beside the point.

Sadly, it was one of your jobs to greet everyone at the park. So, you bit down on your slight nervousness, and put on a big, princess-y smile. You bounced in front of them, giving them all an excited wave.

"Hi you guys! Are you having a magical day here at DisneyLand today?" You flashed another grin, as the whole family seemed to have mixed reactions about your greeting.

Funnily enough, the youngest child just scoffed at you, which was odd, because usually the children were the happiest to see you. But, in this situation, the oldest looking boy seemed to be excited at your presence.

"Hi Rapunzel!" He gave you a wave, grinning like a child as you giggled, giving the man another wave, before placing your hands behind your back.

"I'm Dick, and this is Damian," He pointed to the youngest child, who just regarded you with uninterested eyes and turned away.

"That's Cass, Steph and Barbara," The three girls gave you kind smiles, which you returned swiftly.

"That's Bruce and Duke," Bruce held out his hand formally, and you shook it energetically with both hands, to which he just chuckled at. Duke just held up his hand in greeting.

"And this is Tim." You turned to the last boy to be introduced, and your breath caught in your throat, but you masked it well.

He had raven hair, like the rest of the boys, and stunning blue eyes. He gave you a shy wave, and stuttered a greeting.

"H-hi." You smiled politely, giggling as Jason shoved Tim.
"Way to make it obvious, Replacement." Jason smirked as Tim muttered a quiet shut up to his brother.

Jason then turned to you, and his smirk changed to one that was a little more charming.
"Well, my day just got more magical, now that you're here doll."

You disregarded his attempts at flirting with you with an excited smile, pretending you didn't notice. You ran your fingers along your wig, pretending to admire the flowers in the braid.

"Yeah, it's the hair isn't it? It's magical because my mother drank this magic flower water when I was a baby, which made my hair glow."

The whole family stifled a chuckle at Jason getting completely shot down by a princess. Damian scoffed again, and pushed his way to the front of the family.

"You're not really a princess." He looked you up and down, as if he knew that you were faking being Rapunzel, but he didn't look exactly sure.

"Damian, leave Rapunzel alone." Tim dragged Damian back by his collar, and smiled apologetically back at you. You blushed slightly, looking down bashfully at your shoes.

"Damian, I am a princess. I have my own castle and everything." You smiled proudly at the mention of your 'castle.' Damian looked at you skeptically, raising an eyebrow suspiciously at you and coming closer.

"Oh really? Where?"

"In Corona, my kingdom. I live there with my mom, my dad, and Flynn." You giggled at the mention of your 'husband.'
You leaned down to Damian's level, and whispered loudly into his ear.

"Flynn's real name is Herbert, but don't tell him I told you." He cracked a slight smile at the secret, before nodding slightly, as if he decided that your story was true and backing off back to the group.

"So, where are you guys headed? I can help you find your way if you're lost." You stared at the group as Dick chuckled, rubbing his neck embarrassed.

"Yeah, actually, we're looking for Cinderella's castle, and we can't seem to find it." You gasped, and clapped your hands together excitedly.

"Oh! I love her castle! It's so pretty and pink! Don't worry, I'll take you there," You beckoned toward the family, as you skipped towards your destination, them following quickly behind.

"So, what do you guys like to do for fun? I like to paint." You grinned at the group, who exchanged slightly nervous glances for some reason, before Jason spoke up.

"Erm, we like to practice martial arts." Damian punched Jason's arm angrily, as if he wasn't supposed to say that. The others were also giving him slightly odd looks, as if to ask him why he would say such a thing.
But, you didn't ask questions. What people do in their own time is their business.

"Oh! That sounds like fun. And it might be useful. I remember once, when Gothel hired those brothers to capture Flynn, I had to fight. It was pretty scary, as I only had a frying pan and my hair, but we got out okay."

They nodded intently, and they looked slightly relieved that you didn't ask them any more questions about their 'hobbies.'
But you kept skipping along, occasionally stopping to tell the group about the rides that they were passing.

Eventually, you could see the looming pink castle in the centre of the park, and you pointed at it happily as the group made sounds of awe at the giant building. You grinned at the Wayne's as they still gawked at the castle.

"Yeah, it's awesome isn't it? It looks just like the castle in my kingdom, but it's pink."

You just reached the foot of the castle, when music began to play. You gasped, running towards the centre as the cast began to pull people from the crowd in to dance.
Soon, all of the people were dancing in a circle, switching partners quickly and turning in circles.

You turned towards the group, grabbing Dick's outstretched hand and pulling him in to dance with you, as he grabbed Jason's hand and pulled him along, who grabbed Stephanie's, until the entire Wayne family had joined the dance.

You turned and jumped happily, smiling excitedly at the people you danced with. Everyone was dancing, whether your partner was a woman, a man or even a little five-year-old boy, who you let stand on your toes.

The song kept going, and gradually got faster, as your partner switch got quicker, and you could barely smile at who you were dancing with before you turned to join another person.

The song ended just as you turned for the last time, and bumped into Tim. He grabbed your waist steadily, and you placed your hands on his shoulders. You locked eyes, and you giggled at his star- struck expression.

"You know, this is just like when me and Flynn danced."

He gave you a soft smile as he looked down towards you. You were pushed quite close together, because of the dancing, so your chests were almost touching.
"Well then I guess I can be your Flynn."

You slowly removed your hands from his shoulder, but he still hadn't taken his hands off your waist, which you blushed heavily at, before your voice broke him out of his trance.

"Tim? You gotta go back to your family." He quickly removes his hands, and you both walked back toward the Wayne's, who were still smiling and laughing.

"So, did you guys like the dancing?" You beamed, rocking on your toes as they all nodded. They were all sitting down on the wall, and you were standing in front of them expectantly.

"Yeah, some more than others." Duke nudged Tim with his shoulder, who blushed heavily and shrugged his brother off.

You suppressed a grin as you blushed lightly again, before you spread your hands out.
"Well, hope you enjoy your day at DisneyLand. I have to go find Flynn. Have a magical day!"

You waved at the Wayne's, and they waved back before walking away towards the castle once more. You turned back, about to go the opposite way, when a hand grabbed your arm softly.

"Hey, wait." You turned back to face Tim, who held out one of the princess autograph books.

"Can you sign this for me?" You giggled, nodding quickly before taking a pen out of your pocket. You wrote Rapunzel's name in 'her' loopy and ethereal handwriting.

"There." You grinned at Tim, before the smile slowly slipped off your face.
"Is that all you wanted to ask me?"

He gave you a confused look, before nodding his head surely.
"Yeah, that was it. Bye!" He waved happily as you raised your hand back, giving him a half-hearted wave before frowning sadly.

You were never lucky in love. And now, the one guy you've actually liked in ages, was clueless. You couldn't even ask him out yourself, as you weren't allowed break character around the members of the public.

You sighed slightly, before turning back and putting the pen back into your pocket, feeling something you knew wasn't there before inside.
You furrowed your eyebrows and pulled out the piece of paper.

I guess DisneyLand really is where dreams come true.
-Tim.
xxx-xxx-xxxx.

You smiled at the ground, stuffed the paper back into your pocket and got back to work.
But, let's say there there was an even bigger skip in your step than before.
