A/N: After entering into Beacon, you would be introduced to many of the other students from Ozpin. However, given the how some reacted to this via certain looks, you could only hope you can be able to adjust to where you'd be staying at for quite some time.

After you had walked off from Ruby, you entered inside of Beacon and headed to the giant auditorium, which was filled to the brim with people. As you walked through the groups of people, you got some of their attention and some of them would begin whispering to one another. You had a feeling what they were likely talking about and you gave a light sigh.

(Y/N): Good grief.

You tried to ignored them and continued through the auditorium until Yang called you over.

Yang: Yo (Y/N), over here.

You looked to her direction before walking over to her.

(Y/N): Hey Yang.

Yang: Just try to ignore those guys. Me and my sister know you're not a bad person.

(Y/N): Wait seriously?

Yang: Yeah, my dad even met a few of them before that whole incident happened. I mean come on, why would Ozpin want to have you come here if he didn't believe there was still hope?

(Y/N): hm...... I suppose you do kinda make a good point.

Yang: things will get better. I know they will.

She said as she got your head in a bit of a playful headlock before letting go. As she did, Yang then saw Ruby entering inside with the blond boy who vomited on the ship.

Yang: Ruby! Over here! I saved you a spot!

Ruby ran over to You and Yang.

Yang: How's your first day going, little sister?

Ruby: You mean since you ditched me and I exploded?

Yang: Yikes! Meltdown already?

(Y/N): She's actually not joking about that.

Ruby: Yeah, I literally exploded a hole in front of the school! And there was some fire, and I think some ice...?

Yang: Are you being sarcastic?

Ruby: I wish! I tripped over some crabby girl's luggage, and then she yelled at me, and then I sneezed, and then I exploded, and then she yelled at me again, and I felt really, really bad, and I just wanted her to stop yelling at me!

She said as Weiss was behind.

(Y/N): Uh..........

Weiss: You!

Ruby quickly jumped into her sister's arms.

Ruby: Oh God, it's happening again!

Weiss: You're lucky we weren't blown off the side of the cliff!

Yang: Oh, my God, you really exploded...

Ruby got out of Yang's arms.

Ruby: It was an accident!

Weiss held up a pamphlet titled "DUST for dummies and other Inadequate Individuals.

(Y/N): And just why are you insisting on putting that up in our faces?

Ruby: Uuhhh...?

Weiss: You really wanna start making things up to me?

(Y/N): Though with that attitude, I don't see why she should.

Weiss tried to ignore you while handed the pamphlet to Ruby.

Weiss: Read this, and don't ever speak to me again.

Yang: Look, uh, it sounds like you three just got off on the wrong foot. Why don't you start over and try to be friends, okay?

Ruby: Yeah! Great idea, sis!

Ruby held out her hand as she cleared her throat.

Ruby: Hello, Weiss! I'm Ruby! Wanna hang out? We can go shopping for school supplies!

Weiss started speaking in a sarcastic tone.

Weiss: Yeah! And we can paint our nails and try on clothes and talk about cute boys, like tall, blond, and scraggly over there!

The blond boy, Jaune Arc, picked up on what Weiss said without getting that she was being sarcastic.

Jaune: Hm?

Ruby: Wow, really?!

Weiss: .............................No.😐

Everyone's attention was soon drawn to the stage, where Professor Ozpin was readying the microphone, with Glynda beside him.

Ozpin: I'll... keep this brief. You have traveled here today in search of knowledge, to hone your craft and acquire new skills, and when you have finished, you plan to dedicate your life to the protection of the people. But I look amongst you, and all I see is wasted energy, in need of purpose, direction. You assume knowledge will free you of this, but your time at this school will prove that knowledge can only carry you so far. It is up to you to take the first step.

(Y/N): 3........2......1.

Ozpin: on a further note, (Y/N) is here as representative of his race, in the hopes of maybe being able to prove to everyone that Arcosians aren't the monsters that many of us might see them as.

You let out a light groan under your breath.

After Ozpin left the stage, Glynda stepped up to speaker.

Glynda: You will gather in the ballroom tonight; tomorrow, your initiation begins. Be ready. You are dismissed.

Yang: He seemed kind of... off.

Ruby: It's almost like he wasn't even there.

Jaune approached Weiss from the side.

Jaune: I'm a natural blond, you know!

Weiss face palmed.

(TimeSkip).

It was night time and students were in the ballroom, splayed out in sleeping bags. Ruby was in her pajamas and with a sleeping mask around her head. She was writing in a journal when Yang crashed next to her, similarly dressed.

Yang: It's like a big slumber party!

Ruby: I don't think Dad would approve of all the boys, though.

Yang: I know I do!

She purred as she watched several muscular, shirtless guys... and Jaune, dressed in feetie pajamas, waving to her, which made her groan. She soon saw you walking by, while you were looking for a place to lay down.

Yang: Hey, (Y/N). Why don't you come sleep with us?

(Y/N): Honestly, I think that sounds like a good idea. I'm not sure I feel good about falling asleep given how some people had been looking at him.

You said before walking over to the two of them.

(Y/N): So, what's that?

You pointed out Ruby's note book.

Ruby: A letter to the gang back at Signal. I promised to tell them all about Beacon and how things are going.

Yang: Aw, that's so cuuuute!

Yang got knocked back as a pillow was launched at her face.

Ruby: Shut up! I didn't get to take my friends with me to school! It's weird not knowing anyone here!

(Y/N): What about that blond boy? He seems nice.

Yang: Yeah. There's plus another friend! That's a hundred percent increase!

Ruby: Pretty sure Weiss counts as a negative friend. Back to one.....

(Y/N): Who's the first.

Ruby: You.

(Y/N): Wait really?

Ruby: Yeah.

(Y/N): Wow, I actually feel a bit better about that.

Yang: yeah sis, You just made two friends and one enemy!

Yang was hit with another pillow.

Yang: Look, it's only been one day. Trust me; you've got friends all around you! You just haven't met them yet!

The three of you noticed a candle being lighted nearby, and Blake was seen leaning against a wall, reading her book.

Ruby: That girl...

Yang: You know her?

(Y/N): She saw what happened this morning.

Ruby: she left before I could say anything.

Yang: Well, now's your chance!

She grabbed Ruby's arm and lifted her up.

Ruby: Wait! What are you doing?!

(Y/N): Oh dear.

Blake looked over her book to see Ruby unsuccessfully struggling against Yang's grip while you were still sitting down and watching.

Yang: Hel-looooo! I believe you two may know each other?

Blake: Aren't you... that girl that exploded?

Ruby: Uh, yeah! My name's Ruby! But you can just call me Crater .......Actually, you can just call me Ruby.

Blake looked back in her book.

Blake: Okay.

Yang: What are you doing?

Yang whispered to Ruby.

Ruby: I don't know .......help me!

The younger sibling replied before she and Yang looked back to Blake with a smile.

Yang: So... What's your name?

Blake: Blake.

She said with a sigh.

Yang: Well, Blake, I'm Yang, Ruby's older sister! And that over there is (Y/N).

She pointed over to you as Blake looked up to where Yang was pointing. When you saw Blake looking over. You gave a light and quick wave.

Yang: I like your bow!

Blake: Thanks!

She said sounding a bit irritated.

Yang: It goes great with your... pajamas!

Blake: Right.......

Yang: Nice night, don't you think?

Blake: Yes, it's lovely! Almost as lovely as this book! That I will continue to read.

The two just kept standing there.

Blake: As soon as you leave!

Yang looked to Ruby.

Yang: Yeah, this girl's a lost cause.

(Y/N): pst.......Ruby!

She looked to you.

(Y/N): Ask her what the book is about.

You whispered over to her.

Ruby: Oh right. Good thinking.

She tuned back to Blake.

Ruby: What's it about?

Blake: Huh?

Ruby: Your book. Does it have a name?

Blake: Well... i..it's about a man with two souls, each fighting for control over his body.

Yang: Oh, yeah... That's real lovely!

Ruby: I love books. Yang used to read to me every night before bed. Stories of heroes and monsters... They're one of the reasons I want to be a Huntress!

Blake: And why is that? Hoping you'll live happily ever after?

Ruby: Well, I'm hoping we all will. As a girl, I wanted to be just like those heroes in the books... Someone who fought for what was right, and protected people who couldn't protect themselves!

Blake: That's... very ambitious for a child. Unfortunately, the real world isn't the same as a fairy tale.

Ruby: Well, that's why we're here! To make it better.

Yang: Oh, I am so proud of my baby sister!

She hugged Ruby into the air. Ruby was trying to kick her way out.

Ruby: Cut it out!

Blake: Well, Ruby, Yang, and (Y/N), it's a pleasure to ha....

Weiss: What in the world is going on over here?! Don't you realize some of us are trying to sleep?

(Y/N): Is there anywhere in this school where we don't run into you?

Weiss: Is there no stop to your annoying speaking?!4

Ruby: Shh! Guys, she's right! People are trying to sleep!

Weiss: Oh, now you're on my side!

Ruby: I was always on your side!

Yang: Yeah, what's your problem with (Y/N) and my sister? She's only trying to be nice! And (Y/N) isn't like Frieza or those Rouges.

Weiss: These two are both hazards to my health! And I don't care if he isn't frieza, until I'm convinced otherwise, I don't trust him.

(Y/N): That's because you Schnees have terrible ways of actually judging a race based on the actions of a small group before actually getting the know the rest of the actual race.

Blake just rolled her eyes at the fight. The she simply closed her book and reached over to grab her candle, then blew it out.
