A/N: you were a new student to beacon, granted, your reasoning was much different from how other students might have gone there. But none the less when you reach remnant, you run into a girl by the name of Ruby Rose.

In far off in the galaxy, there was a race of alien beings known as the Arcosians. Despite these features on these alien beings such as their long tails, three-taloned toes, spikes, horns and even the various sizes, they were not reptiles. But it wasn't just the appearance that made your species well known, it was also the power that you all had possessed. Said power had caused some species to be concerned of or even feared by the Arcosians. However, the majority of this alien species didn't wish to use this power for harmful or destructive reasons. Most of the species who tend to go off world were usually just explorers intending to discover other worlds and new species.

And when they do encounter a species, specifically kinds that can understand them and not try to kill them, they would much prefer to make peace in order to prevent needless bloodshed with said species. There were some planets that did agree to peace and with that, the Arcosians would get to learn of said species culture, in exchange for teaching them their own. It would especially be interesting when coming into contact with technologically advanced civilizations as making peace with these particular races would lead into some interesting collaborations in technology. It did seem like all was fine with the species, however, a terrible event had happened that would break the relationship between the Arcosians and some of the other planets. Which has to do with what was going on with now. You were currently sitting inside your ship as it was heading to your destination, as well as the planet where the unfortunate incident had happened many years ago. This planet was Remnant. You were going there to attend a School known as Beacon Academy. As odd as it sounds for an Arcosian to be going to a school. But there's actually a reason on why you're doing this.

(Flashback).

You were inside of your home, standing in front of your father as there was something important that he had to speak to you with.

(Y/N): So why exactly are you wanting me to go this school.

Froze: It's just to help further educate you on some of the other species on different planets. I can assure you, son, it'll be a great opportunity.

(Y/N): On the one planet where the massive incident first happened?

Froze: Uh.............

(Y/N): I assume things aren't exactly going with other planets that are still allied with us.

Froze soon let out a sigh in defeat, confirming your question.

Froze: Yes, unfortunately the recent terrible acts of Frost's deception have caused some to become a lot more suspicious of us and thinking we have a hidden motive.

(Y/N): If it means to reassure them that we're not like Frieza, his family or any of the rouges of our species, then I'll go.

(End of flashback).

And that was basically the gist of why you were going.

(Y/N): How much longer until we arrive at Remnant?

Ridely, The ship's captain and your most loyal soldier, stepped up to answer your question.

Ridely: 10 seconds Sir. We're going to need to land away from the city area in order to make sure we have a clear place to land.

(Y/N): Good choice. Plus, it'll make sure we don't cause any none needed commotion.

The ship eventually arrived in Remnant and landed in a clear opening away from the closest city. Once it finished landing, you stepped out of the ship and soon turned to Ridley.

(Y/N): I will be sure to contact with the ship in due time.

Ridely: Very well, sir.

The ship soon took off and you flew to the direction of the city known as Vale. You were said to meet up with someone called Glynda Goodwitch.

(Y/N): Hopefully I'm not too early.

You said while looking around the area for a little.

(Y/N): I'm not exactly sure who would be out here around.......

Before you could finish that sentence, you heard a blast go off and looked to the direction of where it came from. You saw a guy with orange hair who looked kinda like a mobster heading up the roof of the building next to the one you were on. Unknown to you, his name was Roman Torchwick.

(Y/N): What do we have going on here?

Then a girl wearing red and black clothing with hair of a similar color landed on roof right behind the Mobster-looking guy. This girl was Ruby Rose.

Ruby: Hey!

The man stopped at the end.

Roman: Persistent...

Ruby readied to fight him, but a Bullhead rose up and opened a hatch to allow Roman inside. He then turned to her while holding up a red Dust gem.

Roman: End of the line, Red.

He threw it out at her feet and fired at her, resulting in a large explosion.

Roman: Whoa-ho-ho-ho!

He soon stopped laughing when he saw something on the roof.

Roman: Huh?

A woman in a purple cape was now in front of Ruby, casting a circle of protection over them with her wand. This was Glynda Goodwitch.

(Y/N): Oh?

As you looked on as Glynda waved her weapon and summoned several streaks of purple at the craft. Roman was thrown around in the back until he got to the cockpit.

Roman: We got a Huntress!

He yelled to the woman in red, who got up and headed toward the back as Roman took the controls. Glynda glowed purple for a moment and aimed another blast above the craft, resulting in a dark storm-cloud right over the jet.

Roman: The hell...?

With a flick of her wand, large jagged hail started falling that pummels the jet and even breaks through the window, narrowly missing Roman's head.

(Y/N): Man, I show up on this planet and things are already getting crazy.

The woman reached the back and her arms and chest lit up like fire. She aimed a burst of energy at Glynda. But it was soon shot away by a small beam from you. This got the attention of everyone there.

Rowan: who the hell is that?!

???: Never mind, just take off!

Roman piloted the bullhead out of the area. You were tempted to shoot the bullhead down. But you knew that it might result on either overdoing it or anything.

(Y/N): Damn.

You soon looked to Ruby and Glynda, who were standing on the other roof. You flew over and landed there to meet them. Ruby soon looked to Glynda.

Ruby: You're a Huntress!

She said putting on a pleading, awe-stricken face as the Huntress looked to her.

Ruby: Can I have your autograph?!

(TimeSkip).

You and Ruby were sitting in two chairs in front of a table, under a bright light in a dark room. Glynda, with a tablet computer

Glynda: I hope you both realize that your actions tonight will not be taken lightly. You put yourself and others in great danger.

She soon turned to you.

Glynda: And you, the blast you fired nearly struck some of the buildings.

Ruby: They started it!

(Y/N): And I was merely just trying to help out.

Glynda: I understand what you were wanting to do. But your actions would have still resulted in the damage of some people's home. And the last thing you would need is for complaints to arise in regards to you after everything.

(Y/N): 😒

Glynda then turned to Ruby.

Glynda: and you. If it were up to me, you'd be sent home... With a pat on the back...

Ruby: :)

Glynda: ...And a slap on the wrist.

She demonstrated with her wand, which Ruby barely avoided.

Ruby: Eeek!

Glynda: But... there is someone here who would like to meet you two.

She moved out of the way so a surprised Ruby and a less surprised you could see a man in green come through the doorway, holding a mug and a plate of cookies. The man was Ozpin, headmaster of beacon academy.

Ozpin: Ruby Rose...

He leaned in to look at her face.

(Y/N)'s mind: okay, already getting a little too close.

Ozpin: You... have silver eyes.

Ruby: Uh, um...

Ozpin: So! Where did you learn to do this?

He gestured with his head at the tablet showing Ruby's fighting.

Ruby: S....Signal Academy.

Ozpin: They taught you to use one of the most dangerous weapons ever designed?

Ruby: Well, one teacher in particular.

Ozpin: I see...

He put the cookies on the table in front of Ruby. She tentatively picked one up, ate it in a single bite, and then, not seeing any rebuttal, shoved the rest into her mouth. Ozpin turned to you.

Ozpin: You must be (Y/N). Correct?

(Y/N): yes.

Ozpin: I have heard many things about your race. Both the good.... As well as the bad it's gained.

(Y/N): Indeed. We're doing the best that we can to make up for those troubles and hope in rekindling relationships with other worlds and species. But after the current stunt Frost had pulled, it could be a bit longer.

Ozpin: I see. Well I can assure you that with enough time here, people will eventually see that you and your people aren't so bad.

(Y/N): hopefully..........

You said with a light sigh before Ozpin looked back to Ruby.

Ozpin: I've only seen one other scythe-wielder of that skill before. A dusty, old crow...

Ruby: Oh! That's my uncle!

She said as she was muffled by the cookies she ate.

She swallowed and wiped her mouth, embarrassed.

Ruby: Sorry. That's my Uncle Qrow! He's a teacher at Signal. I was complete garbage before he took me under his wing. And now, I'm all like........Hooowaaah! Witchaaaa!

She said while making some karate-style poses.

Ozpin: So I've noticed.

He placed his cup on the table as he leaned in, then sat down in the chair on the opposite side of the table.

Ozpin: And what is an adorable girl such as yourself doing at a school designed to train warriors?

Ruby: Well... I want to be a Huntress.

Ozpin: You want to slay monsters?

Ruby: Yeah! I only have two more years of training left at Signal! And then I'm going to apply to Beacon! You see, my sister's starting there this year, and she's trying to become a Huntress, and I'm trying to become a Huntress 'cause I wanna help people. My parents always taught us to help others, so I thought, Hey, I might as well make a career out of it! I mean the police are alright, but Huntsmen and Huntresses are just so much more romantic and exciting and cool and really, gosh, you know!

(Y/N): O_O

Glynda and Ozpin studied her.

Ozpin: Do you know who I am?

Ruby: You're Professor Ozpin. You're the headmaster at Beacon.

Ozpin smiled.

Ozpin: Hello.

Ruby: Nice to meet you.

Ozpin: You want to come to my school?

Ruby: More than anything.

Ozpin glanced over to Glynda, who showed disapproval on her face.

Glynda: Hmmph.

He turned back to you and Ruby once again.

Ozpin: Well, okay. You and (Y/N) shall be student of beacon academy.

Ruby smiled, wide-eyed and open-mouthed.

(Y/N): So, what time do we get going?

Ozpin: Early tomorrow morning.

A/N: and thankfully, you won't even have to fly all the way there by yourself.
