A/N: A look into how exactly Cinder had survived her fall after her battle with Raven and what she's been up to for the past few

Cinder had reached the bottom of the dark pit she fell into after her battle with Raven. The ice had shattered and melted around her body, over the ground, which was just slightly cracked from the impact. She was out for a while before she eventually woke and her body was in so much pain from it, she couldn't move.

Cinder: d..... damn it. I had it... all this power..... yet it wasn't enough.......

She said as she tried to desperately move, but each moment she tried, her body hurt more and more.

Cinder: It.....can't end here......

She tried even harder to get up as she put her grimm hand on a nearby rock to help her up. She struggled a little as the pain still fights with her.

Cinder: I.... n.....need to get out of here.

She then extended her grimm arm to and had it latched onto a rock close to the spot where she fell from. She made the arm pull her up to where it latched onto. Cinder looked and saw that the only thing in the room was the dead body of Vernal. She ever saw that the vault was open, but nothing was inside.

Cinder: n.....no........ damn it. Salem will have my head if she realizes that I don't have that damn Relic.

Cinder knew that if she returned to Salem empty handed, especially without something important as the Relic, she would most likely get a vastly great punishment. She growled a little as she knew that at this point, there was no going back to Salem without the risk of being possibly killed. She had to go out on her own this time. She looked to the elevator that took her, Raven and Vernal down to the vault was now all the way up.

Cinder: I guess I'll haft to try the other way.

She said as melted the doors down and used her grimm arm to extend, reach the bottom of the elevator and latch onto it before using it to pull her up to it. She then used her free hand to shoot a stream of fire through the bottom of it, making a big enough hole for her to go through. She looked through the hole to see if anyone was in the grand hall interior, however, judging from the lights coming from outside, they appeared to be out there.

Cinder's mind: I'll have to get out of here another way.

She got out of the hole and carefully exited the elevator. As she did, she took a quick look outside of all the people out there, and much to her surprise, she saw you.

Cinder's mind: Him!

She growled a little, but she knew she was in no condition to fight. She moved to the direction of lionheart's office. Only thing holding her back was that she would still be dealing with the pain over her body slowing her down. Once she made it to the room, she saw lionheart's bloodied corpse on the floor. The cause of it was from Salem's seer. Which thankfully for Cinder, wasn't there anymore.

Cinder: I not all cowards survive, lionheart.

She then walked to the window and opened it up. She had one last thought to herself.

Cinder: This ins't over.

She said before jumping out of the window, landing on her feet and fleeing Haven without being seen.

(TimeSkip).

Once Cinder was finally recovered from the pain through out her body, She had began to train for the next few months and administering a plan to try and going after the relics on her own. As she trained, the memories of her watching you train during the days before the fall of beacon.

Cinder: I'll find a way to get stronger no matter what.

She said before she stood in a stance that was almost rather similar to the type you would usually take when you train or were in battle.

Cinder: Even if it means going further than the powers of one Maiden.

Her training would to continue to go on for a while. However, one day while she was taking a break from her training, she noticed something going on between a pack of Beowolves and a very familiar face.

Cinder: Wait a minute....

She had a closer look on who it was. And much to her surprise, it was Neo.

Cinder's mind: Neo?! After all this time without Roman, and she's still alive?

She asked herself in her own mind as she watched the small Ice Cream haired girl try to defend herself with her blade that she's kept as a part of the handle to her umbrella. It didn't seem to be much to the Grimm as they just kept cumming at her and getting a bit closer.

Cinder's mind: hm, she could still have some use for me. I suppose I should help her if I'll be able to do so.

She said before approaching the pack of Beowolves and slashes two of them in half to get the attention of the other pack members. They growled and snarled at her as she just stood there with a blank look, ready to kill the rest that may try to kill her.

Cinder: Hmph.

The Beowolves lunged at her and she moved at intense speed, resulting in them being knocked away with ease. Neo looked in amazement as she saw how easily Cinder was moving and easily taking down the Beowolves. They each got decapitated and the surviving Beowolf tried to escape. But Cinder then shot a fireball right through it's back and out of it's chest. It disintegrated as it's corpse fell to the ground. Cinder looked down to Neo, who was still standing there amazed from how easily Cinder was able to take down the Grimm.

Cinder: Quite the surprise to see you again after so long, Neo.

She hesitantly nodded as first.

Cinder: Why are you all the way out here without him anyway?

Neo soon gave a saddened look as she soon pulled out a Cane. Roman's cane.

Cinder: I see.

She knelled down to her level.

Cinder: If you don't mind me asking, what exactly did happen to Roman?

Neo then gripped on the can as she soon held a piece of red cloth that belong to a red hood. Cinder knew just exactly who it belonged to.

Cinder: I see. She took Roman's life.

Cinder sat there as she remembered when Ruby unleashed her silver eye powers on her for the first time. She growled for a second before looking back down to Neo.

Cinder: I Understand your pain.

Neo then looked up to her.

Cinder: I took had lost something due to her.

She said as her damaged eye and Grimm arm were obviously seen by her.

Cinder: I want to get her back too, Neo.

Neo: ?

Cinder: You want to take down Ruby, and so do I. But, we can't be able to do it with the help she has.

There was a moment of silence as neo looked down.

Cinder: However...

She soon looked up.

Cinder: If we can find the 4 Relics, then we not only reshape remnant, but make all those who went against us pay. But only if we help each other can we be able to do it.

Neo soon nodded as she understood and agreed to help her. And the two would eventually begin to plan to try and take the Relics. It was with Neo that Cinder was able to steal the Relic of Choice from beacon's vault. And now, they were after the rest.

(End of Flashback. Present).

Cinder stood across from Raven, who was shocked to see that she was alive after all that happened from their battle months ago.

Raven: How the hell did you survive? I....

Cinder: Froze me? You did. However, you didn't do much of a good job at it. The drop still hurt like hell. Not that it matters now, I've cheated death and now, It's time I paid you back for the fight all those months ago.

She said as she stood in a battle stance, ready to battle. Raven then pulled out her blade.

Raven: If you think you'll win this time, you're sadly mistaken.

Cinder: Hmph, so you think.
